    Very true Rain,
If Lusia was living on the Blessed Eucharist alone, she therefore would not have Jesus saying........ my Will encloses all the Sacraments and their effects; therefore, abandon yourself completely in my Will, make It your own, and you will receive the effects of absolution, or of anything else which you might be denied. So, I recommend to you - do not waste time!

This is why those in authority (the bishops) have stated that the current translations of Lusia writings are not to be published nor disseminated.
Wise words in my humble opinion!

I’m new to all of this and have not read enough to form a proper opinion or even ask properly formed questions..
Except this, : If this is the case, ....l.if this is the official position of the church, then are we admonished by the church to not read these writings?? Am I missing something?

Xavier "In the end, My Immaculate Heart will Triumph."

I recently visited a relative of mine, who is a Priest, and learnt to my surprise that he had a book on Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. I borrowed that book. It seems clear to me that she is going to be canonized quite soon. The author of the book is Hugh Owen. There are favorable citations from St. Padre Pio and St. Hannibal Francis De Maria on the back cover.

The Saints have already told us Uniformity with the Divine Will is of the utmost importance in the pursuit of spiritual perfection. Many live an ordinary Christian life but do not seek after that high degree of sanctity to which all Christians are called and which all Christians, if we surrender to the Divine Will in every moment of life no matter how difficult, can attain. Full Uniformity with the Divine Will is thought to come about in the Unitive Way, the Third Age of the Spiritual Life. It is those who already are in that way who are safe guides.

This is St. Alphonsus, Doctor of the Church, on Uniformity with the Divine Will: "Whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother." To do God's will -- this was the goal upon which the saints constantly fixed their gaze. They were fully persuaded that in this consists the entire perfection of the soul. Blessed Henry Suso used to say: "It is not God's will that we should abound in spiritual delights, but that in all things we should submit to his holy will.'' "Those who give themselves to prayer," says St. Teresa, "should concentrate solely on this: the conformity of their wills with the divine will. They should be convinced that this constitutes their highest perfection. The more fully they practice this, the greater the gifts they will receive from God, and the greater the progress they will make in the interior life." A certain Dominican nun was vouchsafed a vision of heaven one day. She recognized there some persons she had known during their mortal life on earth. It was told her these souls were raised to the sublime heights of the seraphs on account of the uniformity of their wills with that of God's during their lifetime here on earth. Blessed Henry Suso, mentioned above, said of himself: "I would rather be the vilest worm on earth by God's will, than be a seraph by my own.'' During our sojourn in this world, we should learn from the saints now in heaven, how to love God. The pure and perfect love of God they enjoy there, consists in uniting themselves perfectly to his will. It would be the greatest delight of the seraphs to pile up sand on the seashore or to pull weeds in a garden for all eternity, if they found out such was God's will. Our Lord himself teaches us to ask to do the will of God on earth as the saints do it in heaven: "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Because David fulfilled all his wishes, God called him a man after his own heart: "I have found David . . . a man according to my own heart, who shall do all my wills." David was always ready to embrace the divine will, as he frequently protested:

"My heart is ready, O God, my heart is ready." He asked God for one thing alone -- to teach him to do his will: "Teach me to do thy will." A single act of uniformity with the divine will suffices to make a saint. Behold while Saul was persecuting the Church, God enlightened him and converted him.

What does Saul do? What does he say? Nothing else but to offer himself to do God's will: "Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?" In return the Lord calls him a vessel of election and an apostle of the gentiles: "This man is to me a vessel of election, to carry my name before the gentiles."

Absolutely true -- because he who gives his will to God, gives him everything. He who gives his goods in alms, his blood in scourgings, his food in fasting, gives God what he has. But he who gives God his will, gives himself, gives everything he is. Such a one can say: "Though I am poor, Lord, I give thee all I possess; but when I say I give thee my will, I have nothing left to give thee." This is just what God does require of us: "My son, give me thy heart." St. Augustine's comment is: "There is nothing more pleasing we can offer God than to say to him: 'Possess thyself of us'.'' We cannot offer God anything more pleasing than to say: Take us, Lord, we give thee our entire will. Only let us know thy will and we will carry it out. If we would completely rejoice the heart of God, let us strive in all things to conform ourselves to his divine will. Let us not only strive to conform ourselves, but also to unite ourselves to whatever dispositions God makes of us. Conformity signifies that we join our wills to the will of God. Uniformity means more -- it means that we make one will of God's will and ours, so that we will only what God wills; that God's will alone, is our will. This is the summit of perfection and to it we should always aspire; this should be the goal of all our works, desires, meditations and prayers. To this end we should always invoke the aid of our holy patrons, our guardian angels, and above all, of our mother Mary, the most perfect of all the saints because she most perfectly embraced the divine will." https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/library/uniformity-with-gods-will-12644

With a little bit of discernment, we know how Adam and Eve lived in the human will, but operating within the Divine Will before their fall. Everything had perfect purpose, place and order, until they chose sin. Then we found out how they lived operating no longer in the divine will, but operating only in the human will. It can be no different in the era of peace promised by our Lady of Fatima and Revelations 20. Those who survive the purification of this world and into the era of peace, can only be those who have accepted the gift of our loving God to once again live/operate only in His Divine Will. If anyone thinks they are going to live in the era of peace operating in the sinful human will, you are gravely mistaken. It didn't work that way before the fall of Adam and Eve during the era of peace, prior to their fall, and it won't work that way into the era of peace in our era. It's plain and simple and God's messengers of these 'last times' have clearly revealed as much for those who have ears to hear.

This may be a stupid question. But I wonder if it might be the same as the Final Stage in Prayer we call Spiritual Marriage?

  7. This kind of thing will only happen to those who have thrown away all these books and explanations. Living in the will of God is something that happens to saints after some purification, and has entered into a deep and practical relationship with God. It is one aspect of the unitive stage. Remember that Luisa lived her life lying in bed and receiving the Eucharist. For a normal-life person things get a little complicated.

The church has many different ways of explaining the same thing from different angles. I find the language used in these 50 volumes very wordy and repetitive. each one follows what he likes, there are other saints who speak the same thing in another language. This just doesn't match my temper.

This living in the will of God is not and cannot be anything new, for it is the adamic state before the fall. The goal of spiritual progress is this and goes beyond. When I see someone saying that this is God's new gift never before revealed and that Luisa is a special stronghold that brought us this news, the red alert sounds immediately.

    Padraig,
No it isn't the same. Luisa was given the Gift of Mystical Marriage (Spiritual Marriage) prior to the Gift of Living in the Divine Will. The final Gift given to Luisa was also given to BL Conchita diArmida which Jesus called "Mystical Incarnation" and there are others which I do not have time to post right now, but will be back later for those interested.
God bless you Padraig for starting this thread on Luisa. Jesus is VERY happy!

    Padraig,

If you listen to Daniel beginning at 01:07:40, he shares how Living in the Divine Will is a stage beyond Mystical Marriage. But I await what Lynne will add since she has been at this much longer than anyone else on MOG.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

One of the passages that Josephite struggles with is:

And Jesus: “My daughter, do I perhaps not live in the sacramental host, alive and real, in Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity? And why do I live in the host in Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity? Because there is not a will that opposes Mine. If I found in the host a will opposed to Mine, I would form neither real nor perennial Life in it. This is also the reason why the sacramental accidents are consumed when creatures receive Me – because I do not find a human will united with Me in such a way as to want to lose its will in order to acquire Mine, but I find a will that wants to act, that wants do things on its own. So I make my little visit, and I leave. On the other hand, for one who lives in my Will, my Volition and hers are one. And if I do this in the host, how much more can I do it in her; more so, since I find a heartbeat, an affection, my return and my interest - which I do not find in the host. To the soul who lives in my Will, my real Life within her is necessary; otherwise, how could she live in my Volition?

This does make sense to me. Why is it so important to take time after receiving Holy Communion (about 15 minutes)? Because Jesus is truly present in the Sacred Host until the Host looses its accidents through the digestive process. So I must be humbly and adoringly composed as much as possible during that time, the time when Jesus is literally within, not only spiritually. Above, Jesus states that He cannot continue so, because apart from a more perfect union of wills, the one who receives Holy Communion usually wants to do things on its own. So I make my little visit, and I leave.

Then Jesus contrasts the soul that is only partially surrendered with the soul that is living in the Divine Will: On the other hand, for one who lives in my Will, my Volition and hers are one. And if I do this in the host, how much more can I do it in her. Let us have faith and trust that Jesus has made a way to be more perfectly conformed to His Will. Such is the Love of our God! Alleluia!

    Safe in the Divine Will!

I will go to Our Lady Directly and ask her to explain all this to me. I am sure she will.:)
At the moment this all continues to loose me.

I always took Spiritual Marriage or as the Easterners say, 'Divinisation' was to be conformed to God's Will.

But I can see that a step beyond this is being placed forward. I am just unclear how this could be or what it could mean.:)

I could well believe I am not worthy of understanding.:)

I always try to keep an open mind. God is full of surprises.

No one better to go to than Mary! What has helped me be more open is my belief in the coming Era of Peace. After the last cleansing via the Flood, it took hardly anytime for the human family to regress. If God is to give us a new reprieve, it would not surprise me that it would be a foretaste of the New Heavens and the New Earth. Therefore the timing of the Gift of Living in the Divine Will will reflect more perfectly God's generosity and Mercy!

Oh, in regard to worthiness, I'm in the same camp!:ROFLMAO:

Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. How often I say these words without deep reflection, and yet, I am so overwhelmed by God's generosity. Perhaps Living in the Divine Will is just one more example of His infinite generosity.

    Alleluia!

I can't imagine. It is beyond me.

Devotion to Our Blessed Lady is such a comfort. We can always, always go to Our Mother. In times of perplexity or difficulty all we have to do is ask the simple question, 'What would Mary do?' 'What would Mary say?' 'What would Mary think?'

Then at once all becomes clear.

Yes, this is what is troubling. This is also why the bishop has asked that the translation not be spread. Obviously there are issues with them which leads to misunderstandings when it comes to doctrine and what it means to be "living in God's Will".

You seem to be confusing the term will.

God gave all of us a will so that we may of our own accord seek our Creator and attain his full and blessed perfection.

Human will therefore is an ability to choose, a choice - to act.

Human will is not something evil in and of itself. Human will is not sinful.

Can it be used to sin? Of course. We can reject what God has desired for us. Can it be a means of holiness? Of course, if one desires and acts in conforming (not annihilating) one's will to God's.

And again, just for the record since you keep plugging it, Revelations 20 is not what you think it is and your "messenger list" is highly suspect :D.

  18. I have received good feedback from those who have been attempting to comprehend this "new holiness"(while it was always living in the Mind of the Father from the beginning....only to be fulfilled in His timeline, and closer it would seem to the time when it would be more readily realized)....after they have watched this excellent video given by Fr. Iannuzzi. These same people found his "tome"/Dissertation on the topic, written for the examination by the top Vatican theologians (he passed as we know!! ha!), very difficult to grasp. If you are truly interested then spending the time to listen to this might be helpful:

In the Era of the living in the Divine Will, the souls will complete the Glory of God on the part of Creation.

This is why I am preparing the era of the living in my Will; and for all that creatures have not done in the past generations, and will not do, in this era of my Will they will complete the love, the glory, the honor of the whole Creation, and I will give them astonishing and unheard-of graces. This is why I am calling you to live in my Will, and I whisper into your ear: ‘Jesus, I lay at your feet the adoration, the subjection of the whole human family; I place in your Heart the “I love You” of all; on your lips I impress my kiss in order to seal the kiss of all generations; I clasp You with my arms in order to clasp You with the arms of all, to bring You the glory of all the works of all creatures...And I feel in you the adoration, the ‘I love You’, the kiss, etc. of the whole human family. How could I not give to you the love, the kisses, the graces which I should give to the others? Vol. 12, May 22, 1919
