    Little stones..

I thought I would share a little life story with you I call it “little Stones”

A good few years ago my journey and relationship with God grew strong, I do pray but it would not be as strong or as devout as others , I know that people have all different gifts and relationships with our Heavenly Father that’s what makes God’s love special but I had this deep feeling that how I prayed just wasn’t hitting the right spot in my soul, I yearned to do something more, I found silence with God was fantastically special and it’s when I feel closest to him, I also went on a few pilgrimages but repetitive prayer in large groups made me feel detached, I actually felt that there was something wrong with me or that in some way I was under a bad influence, I always wanted and had the feeling that I needed to do more than just pray, my soul felt like it wanted to wrestle a tiger or burst with fireworks, I eventually found my place with God, my soul found union with his whispering voice, the first time I felt this spark was climbing Mt Krizevac I got great peace and joy and wanted to do it again and again, I could talk to God and felt his presence so intense I felt as if I could fly and so the journey began, I started to climb mountains and hills to talk to him, I also started to make things difficult as I climbed removing my shoes looking for difficult paths and also taking souls with me in penance, on one of my climbs I heard the distinct instruction to pick up a stone and give it to someone whom I was praying for and doing penance on the mountain, when I give the stone to the person they immediately replied “oh my how lovely I only need two more stones to defeat my Goliath “ I asked them to explain as I didn’t understand, they told me the story of David and Goliath but then said did you know that David defeated Goliath with one strike of his first stone ?? why did God instruct him to take three with him ??, their response intrigued me as I felt God was telling me something, on my next climb I brought two stones back to them, I was prompted after that experience to bring three stones with me each time I climb and leave them at the top of the mountain for whatever and whoever I am praying for, in a way I felt that I was defeating Goliaths each time , A more recent experience lead me to be prompted to carry five stones, the reason I did this was I had spelt the person’s name and it consisted of five letters when I had placed them at the top of the mountain I looked at them and said five little pebbles for (person’s name left blank), a few days later I was cleaning out a couple of drawers and a little prayer card from Medjugore was in one of them, I was struck dumb when I turned to the back of the card and seen the words five little stones

I give you the weapon against your Goliath, here are your little stones:

    1. Prayer

    2. Fasting

    3. Holy Mass

    4. The Bible

    5. Confession

So now when I climb I take five stones with me and leave them at the top, how amazing that my climbing with God started with Medjugore and completed with Medjugore , So the next time I post saying going climbing, you can be assured I will be bringing five little stones with me for all of our intensions all of our little weapons against our Goliath's..

Yes, the 5 stones of Medjugorje are the very pillars of our faith and road map for long lasting true conversion. I remember first reading about medj and the urgent message to convert. I thought ok, I am up for it, how do I convert...what are the steps I need to do? It was on pilgrimage in Medjugorje that these 5 stones we drilled into my head and I understood that this was the game plan for conversion. It was also at Medj that I learned what adoration was...believe it or not, I had never heard of adoration! Some call Medj something from the evil one...I call it our lady's boot camp :)
