Jesus said to Saint Faustina that anyone who appealed to His mercy would not be refused. I am appealing to His mercy now.
Have you tried praising God in your mind and from your heart even in the darkness of suffering? The following prayer of praise is powerful. https://www.catholic.org/prayers/prayer.php?p=889 Blessed are you, Lord God: Blessed are you for ever. Holy is your name: Blessed are you for ever. Great is your mercy for your people: Blessed are you for ever. Amen! Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, We praise you and give you glory: We bless you for calling us to be your holy people. Remain in our hearts, And guide us in our love and service. Help us to let our light shine before others And lead them to the way of faith. Holy Trinity of love, We praise you now and for ever. Amen! We praise you, Father of all; We thank you for calling us to be your people, And for choosing us to give you glory. In a special way we thank you for... Cleanse our hearts and our lives With your holy word And make our prayer pleasing to you. Guide us by your Spirit As we follow in the paths of Jesus our brother. All glory and praise are yours, Father, For ever and ever. Amen! Let us give glory to the Father Through the Son In the Holy Spirit, For God has made us his people, his Church, And calls us to sing his praises. All honour and glory and thanks are his, And praise and worship belong to him. To God be glory in his Church For ever and ever! Amen! Thanks for a beautiful day: On a beautiful day, we may thank God and praise him for his many gifts. Father of Jesus, We praise you and give you glory For the wonderful things you do for us; For life and health, for friends and family, for this splendid day. For these reasons, we pray as Jesus taught us: Our Father Repeat the canticle of praises.
My Mother has passed away. It happened rapidly and she had a good passing. She became unconscious and her respiration faded. I was with her holding her arm as it happened. It is a joy knowing I got to be with her to the end. I had accompanied her for 5 years as her health faded, she suffered much in the last 5 years. So I am happy for her that she got to go home this time. Also, she had the sacrament of the sick on the 12th by the grace of God. God is good. Thank you all for your support and your prayers. I know they helped greatly. Much love to you all.
My condolences. I am deeply grieved at hearing your loss. But what a consolation in ways for her to have had her son near by for these hard years. Will be praying for the repose of her soul. God bless.
Prayers for your Mother. God is so good. And you were such a good son Pax Prima. You accompanied her through her Calvary. And now she is safely home. Thank you for keeping us informed. I know there is great sorrow. All of us who have lost our mothers know what you are going through. God bless you.
My condolences. I will pray got her eternal rest at Mass this morning. May you have peace knowing you accompanied her and that she had graces of Church sacraments. Peace
May your mother rest in peace and may the shinning face of the infant child bring you consolation this Christmastide.
Pax I'm praying for you and your mom. I'm so sorry for your loss. Continued prayers for all who are suffering.
I am very sorry to hear that, Pax. I am praying that your mother may attain eternal rest and that God may grant strength to you and to your entire family.
My sincere sympathies Pax Prima. Will be praying for Sharon's eternal rest. I lost my mother at Christmas too. But unlike you I didn't make it on time and she was dead by the time I got to the hospital. I do believe that she waited for me before leaving her body. Her cheeks were rosy when I arrived to her. After paying my last respects she went pale. You were blessed to be there to the end. "In life's long day and death's dark night, O Gentle Jesus be our light." (Fr. Faber) "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying nor pain any more ... Behold, I make all things new." (Rev. 21:4-5)
