I think many of us are feeling the darkness at present. This is the Winter Solstice too so that may explain some of it.

Here are some wise, spirit-filled words from Thomas the Hermit. He changed the name of his youtube channel to Legatus Legionis some time ago. He is a gentle and wise soul I think.

 

Cant seem to find any relief yo the suffering I'm going through

 

I have remembered you in my rosaries and little sufferings -

I also think of the chant Sanctus when praying for you

 

You are not alone Sanctus - there are many praying for you -

Indeed I was praying for you at 2am the other night when I could not sleep due to a severe pain in my foot - I offered sorrowful mystery for you then -

You are not alone.

The feeling of being abandoned by God is very strong. Everyone at home here with me seem to he happy but i am suffering much. I need a miracle to help me through this awful darkness

 

I am praying that God will send you that miracle.

Ditto, sending prayers for a miracle. If you are not happy, fake it til you make it.

 

I say the divine mercy chaplet and rosary everyday and go to mass regularly. I also go to confession. I hope God can help me. I want to do His will.

 

You are doing all the right things Sanctus and your holy desires indicate a soul that wants to please God.

Seek a good spiritual director as this is key for your progress.
