From Immaculee Dear Friends, This is about a new book about Segatashya, a pagan boy of 14 years old, who had the privilege to meet Jesus, Our Lord. He met him, not just once, but many times. He gave him a message for humanity. The main message in this book, is about how to prepare for the End Times, the Last Day which is the Day of Judgment. You will read, how it all started, the questions and answers he received. To some questions, you will laugh, but you will thank God that he asked. Jesus once told him, "If anyone believes that I ever set foot on earth, let him know, I am on my way back." To one of his question he said, "God created the world knowing it will end one day, but the troubles that will happen during the last days, will happen because of those who have refused to repent their sins..." He added, "During the last days, people will have enough of world and the world will have enough of people and there will be many troubles." After Jesus told him what will happen during the last days, the boy got scared and asked Him, "Why don't you tell people the Day of End of the World? They will change." Jesus answered him, "If I tell people the last day, people will change out of fear, not out of love. And Heaven is for those who chose love willingly. Beside, only my Father knows that day..." Later the boy also asked, "What is the true religion?" He also asked, "Why do you tell us to forgive each other when you don't forgive Satan?" And he asked, "Why will religions fight when they work for you?" He once asked, "Why did you create man with weakness knowing what he can to himself?" I have the Kibeho CD about Segatashya with the questions and answers, I think I got it from Spirit Daily. Yes, it is very down to earth and full of questions and answers you would love to ask Our Lord.
I started reading the book and love it, but now I want to play hooky and keep reading the book. Grrrrrrrr... shoulda waited till the weekend to start reading it.
Immaculee and one of the Kibeho seers are hosting a retreat at our parish the last weekend of October. I am so looking forward to hearing their witness first hand!!
I found an interview with Immaculee on U Tube ages ago and it was awesome. She truly is a gift from God in our day. God bless her.
I agree 100% Julia. Do you receive her messages automatically sent to your email? Some are quite inspiring.
I did not know Immaculee sent out messages. Have you watched the Film 'Hotel Rwanda' it is about all that happened there. So shocking how the UN stood back and let it happen.
From Immaculee today Dear friends, Today is the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows and I wanted to encourage you to send her your love and ask her for help in your own sorrows. When Mary appeared to Marie Claire in Kibeho (Book ‘Our Lady of Kibeho’), She reminded her that the Meditations on her Sorrows, and the Seven Sorrows Rosary, is a source of many blessings. If you are going through any difficulty, do not give up, you have a helper in our heavenly Mother. They are her sorrows, but yes through them, ours are healed. Last year in October, I was invited in Argentina to speak and a beautiful, kind lady approached me. She told me she was married for almost 5 years, and she couldn’t get pregnant and she doesn’t know why. I recommended her the 7 Sorrows Rosary prayer, I was just being a messenger of Our Lady. These are some of the text messages she sent me the following months (I just chose some, we exchanged more...). Oct. 27, 2015 "Hi Immaculee. I am Clara. We met yesterday. I am so happy to shared last afternoon with You! Today I begin praying the rosary of the Seven Sorrows hopping Mary will help me through this pain that I feel because of my impossibility of getting pregnant. Sorry about my English. I will remember You for ever and pray for You. Big hug, C.” Oct.29, 2015 "Hi Immaculee! I am praying everyday. I am just about to start. I love to do it." How to pray the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows Make the sign of the cross: Introductory prayer My God, I offer you this Rosary in honour of the seven principal Sorrows of Mary, for your greatest glory, for my conversion and that of all people through your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, our salvation and our unique way to come to you, in union with the Holy Spirit for ever and ever. Amen! Act of contrition My God, I am very sorry for having offended you because you are infinitely good. I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, to avoid all occasion of sin and never to sin again. In this state of contrition, I want to live and die. Amen! First Sorrow...... The prophesy of Simeon.......... A sword will pierce your soul The word of God: Luke 2: 25-28 “Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord's Christ. Moved by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for him what the custom of the Law required, Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, (…) The child's father and mother marvelled at what was said about him. Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too." Prayer Give us Lord a strong heart like that of the Virgin Mary, so that we can consecrate our lives to you, and thus we will see that everything becomes new in you, Lord. Gives us power to unite ourselves to Jesus so that our difficulties may become a ladder to climb up and reach you, the King of kings. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys". Second Sorrow......The Flight into Egypt The word of God: Mt 2: 13-15 “When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son." Prayer Virgin Mary, Mother whom we love, you endured a suffering that we cannot name, by carrying the infant Jesus into exile; teach us to accept our daily sufferings. Teach us to be brave so that we should never be discouraged when the world rejects or persecutes us. Help us to protect the life of Jesus who lives in our hearts as the jealousy of the devil does everything to drive out this life with Jesus. Loving Mother, you who suffered much because of this exile, we offer you all refugees today. Keep them from despair so that they understand that the Almighty is with them everywhere they are. You who were denied the right to possess and to be filled with joy in your country, we offer you those who their rights to live in liberty are violated. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys". Third Sorrow .........The Loss of the child Jesus in Jerusalem for 3 days The word of God: Luke 2: 43-50 “After the Feast was over, while his parents were returning home, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem, but they were unaware of it. Thinking he was in their company, they travelled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. When they did not find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his answers. When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, "Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you." "Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" But they did not understand what he was saying to them.” Prayer Tender Mother, you suffered greatly when you were searching for your Son who was lost in Jerusalem, I offer you my soul which is lost in the darkness of sin. I offer you my heart which is far from the creator of heaven and earth. I offer you my brothers and sisters who are far from God, so that you will look after them, so that they will come back to you, and that Satan will not do any harm to them since they are also your beloved children. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys". Fourth Sorrow.....Mary meets Jesus carrying the cross The word of God: Lk. 23: 26 - 31 As they led him away, they seized Simon from Cyrene, who was on his way in from the country, and put the cross on him and made him carry it behind Jesus. A large number of people followed him, including women who mourned and wailed for him. Jesus turned and said to them, Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. For the time will come when you will say, `Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!' Then "they will say to the mountains, "Fall on us!" and to the hills, "Cover us!"' For if men do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?" Prayer O Mother, console the mothers who are afflicted by the immense grief caused by losing their children that smiled at them so tenderly and filled them with joy. Console the children who are victims of a judgment like that of Pilate even when they don't know what sin is. Console the children who carry the heavy cross of life while they are still very young. Console those who are unjustly accused and carry on their heads many burdens. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys". Fifth sorrow........Jesus Dies on the cross The word of God: Jn 19: 25-27 “Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, "Dear woman, here is your son," and to the disciple, "Here is your mother." From that time on, this disciple took her into his home”. Prayer Our mother you who loves us so much, Queen of Martyrs, gives us the courage that you had in such painful moments, so that in our turn we can give thanks to God through all who do evil to us, and thus join in the pardon granted by Jesus for everybody. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys".
Sixth Sorrow......Jesus is taken down from the cross and Mary receives Him into her arms. The word of God: Jn 19: 38-40 Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jews. With Pilate's permission, he came and took the body away. He was accompanied by Nicodemus, the man who earlier had visited Jesus at night. Nicodemus brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about seventy-five pounds. Taking Jesus' body, the two of them wrapped it, with the spices, in strips of linen. This was in accordance with Jewish burial customs.” Prayer Mary, mother of incarnate Word, obtain for me from your Son the grace of faith. Mary, mother of sorrows, obtain for me from your Son the grace of perseverance. Mary, mother of sorrows, give me the grace to accept the cross in my life as a gift from God. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys". Seventh sorrow.... Jesus is placed in the sepulchre The word of God: Mt 27: 55-61 “Many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee's sons. As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.” Prayer Mother who suffered greatly, we come before you as our refuge and our shield so that you may intercede for us. We offer you our Church so that you can intervene in all the difficulties it is going through: the discouragement of the faithful, especially those you have chosen to be your beloved in a particular way, the persecution of the faithful in various parts of the world, the constant decline of faith among Christians. Say one "Our Father" and then seven "Hail Marys". Concluding prayers: “Queen of Martyrs, your soul was greatly troubled in the ocean of suffering. We beg you by the merits of the tears you shed in these terrible sorrowful mysteries, to obtain for us and all sinners of the world, the grace of complete sincerity and repentance. Amen.” To wipe away Mary's tears during her immense sufferings, say Our Father, Hail Mary and the following prayer three times: "Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!"
