Duh. This an edifying interview. Jim is Catholic and openly Christian. He talks about the grueling things he went through in the role of Jesus. His normal weight was 210 pounds, but it was down to 168 at the end. He endured a shoulder injury, was accidentally hit with the whip during the scourging scene, and suffered with pneumonia while up on the cross. On the last day of filming, he was struck by lightning. He had to have heart surgery after the movie was over. I noticed that he quoted Saint Pope John Paul II, "Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought."
