The final victory in Syria by the US/Zionist-backed Jihadists seemed sudden and uncanny. The legitimate Syrian establishment had held on so long, only to just fold overnight.
I think there were deals done behind the scenes. If my very dodgy memory serves me, Assad's wife was already in Russia being treated for cancer. Due to the sanctions, people were struggling, including the military who were on very low pay. There were suggestions that some senior officers had been bought off. There was also a report that officers who hadn't been bribed received a false message telling them to stand down. There were lots of conflicting reports. There's no doubt that the Americans and Israelis provided air cover for the jihadis who were Erdogan's boots on the groumd. The Ukrainians also sent drone operators. The Russians did launch some attacks on the jihadis but not a whole lol although enough to save face and to get Assad out. That could have been because they were caught by surprise but it all looked fishy to me. There were also reports that the Russians and Iranians had tried for a long while to get Assad to mend fences with Erdogan but Assad was reluctant and Putin wasn't pleased with him. Remember that Erdogan controls access to the Black Sea. I think it possible that Erdogan tipped off Putin and that the two of them agreed to let the jihadis take over provided the Russian base was left alone. It's possible that Netanyahu was hoping that Iran would get involved but the Iranians didn't bite.
I think this argument has great merit that God brought the Jews back to the Holy land in preparation for their conversion. Scriptures tell us that God has hardened the hearts of the Jews (not rejected the Jews) until the fulfillment of the Gentiles. Then and only then will the blinkers come off and the Jews be converted. c.f Romans 11

God writes straight in crooked lines. Who can know the mind of God? But there does seem to be a certain concurrence of events that points in certain directions..
To me, this seems quite clear: the Jewish people are a blessed double-edged sword in the hands of God. We should even be thankful for their hardening, because it means more time for the Church's preaching before the fullness of the Gentiles, and consequently, more pagans entering the only Ark that saves. On the other hand, their full conversion will mark the end of the prophetic clock of the End Times and be an immediate sign of the Resurrection of the Dead along with the Glorious Return of Christ. In fact, I have no doubt that God has miraculously protected the Jewish people since the re-establishment of their state in 1948. Many people get things mixed up, thinking that God protects Israel the way a father protects a mischievous child from punishment. In reality, we have countless examples throughout history of persecution and bloodshed that came upon them as punishment for the self-condemning words spoken nearly 2,000 years ago. However, God acts like a Father who, even with a wayward son, uses all His power to save him from the danger of death. The very fact that the brutal Hamas attack occurred on October 7, 2023—Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary—seems to point to a prophetic timeline that unites the Israel of the Old Testament with the spiritual Israel of the New.
Romans 11 seems to be a key chapter in relation to the Jews - I must read this chapter a few times, and find out what the Church fathers taught about it.
If two radical leaders are overthrown in Iran and Israel after the rubble and smoke of a war, I can't help but think that this would pave the way for some kind of strategic peace agreement—whether it be true peace or the false peace our Lord warned us about as a sign of the end times.
It is educated speculation, which has a good possibility IMO. The new date for the Canonization of Blessed Carlos is now September 7th. As you know, all prophecy is supposed to be fulfilled according to the prophecy given to Carlos' Mom by St. Francis. Which would mean if the date holds, everything will be over by September 7th. According to the video recently put out by Mother and Refuge, which has Orthodox prophecy, everything is supposed to rapidly kick off once Israel attacks Iran's nuclear sites, which has happened. Netanyahu has asked Trump for help with Iran and Trump said no, he wants a deal made for peace. Israel won't go for it because it is blind to everything but destroying Iran. According to the video from M&R both Russia and China are going to reluctantly jump in, possibly with nukes. However given what Trump is doing now, it looks like the US won't be there for Israel. Which sounds a lot like Gog and Magog, it will be Israel alone. This seems to be the current trajectory given the current events and prophecies, but things are happening quickly too. Just a few weeks ago it looked like there might be peace in the middle east. So who knows.
