Its my personal opinion that ...yes...we should look for prophets and signs...otherwise which way are we to go? There is a difference in seeking the will of God through His prophets and signs and just merely seeking that which "tickles one's ears". Signs are a very basic part of our human experience. We should listen to prophets and seek signs to try and discern the will of God for our lives. So yes...look for signs and hear the prophets but try to be discerning and not run here and fro like a air headed pagan.
I am sticking with the sign that Our Lady of Garabandal gave us in regards to the Warning. I take our Lady's message literally that it will happen when "communism returns" and "things are at their worst". Late October may be when things begin to spin bad, but it will take some time for things to be at there worst. Not necessarily years, but surely months later. Perhaps by Easter next year the whole world will have entered into its passion. As Father Malachi Martin, who read the 3rd secret of Fatima revealed, "look to the sky"! God only knows.
I think this is true. I think there is prophesy all over the place if we look. My Spiritual Director used to teach me that it was Jesus Himself we meet in the Sacrament of Confession. This has stuck with me and so I always hang onto any little words the priest gives me as coming direct from Jesus Himself. I think during the day people can say and do things that are prophetic. The old Fathers of the Desert when they met another monk used to have the habit of asking for a 'Word' to take away with them for the day to chew over. Again this is prophetic. The homily at mass is prophetic, the mass itself prophetic, the Eucharist and so on. By prophetic I mean God speaking a Word to us in our hearts. This is what Prophets do, they bring a Word from God. Mary is herself Queen of Prophets in that she bore the Word of God in her Womb and always in her heart. I think all our vocations are to be Prophets to some extent, bring God's Word to the world..and like all the Prophets to pay the price for this.
I think one thing I love about prophecy is its surprise content. It is always surprising. I have to say I love surprises. Our God is a God of many, many,many surprises.

Given that this is so I believe we should sever all Ecumenical contacts with them If we honour them by pretending they are fellow Christians we are deceiving them and deceiving ourselves. They have become children of Satan , not Christ. I don't get into the "politics" of the Israeli-Palestinan issue but I must say this story just raises the concern to a whole new level and I see very little mention of it here in the US on the MSM. It's frightening to think if one of these reactors actually hit the reactor. I have put the most offensive expression in bold. How 'improved'? By omitting stan? By not requiring godparents do their spiritual duty? Only is this 'improved' if you follow the zeitgeist. I wonder how many parents will ask for the older rite. Not all Anglicans are lukewarm, and the evangelical wing will probably not be pleased. However, in time......
i often think: What will happen to those who are blind, or in a coma? Will anyone be sleeping ( half the world is sleeping at anytime) - how will they experience the warning? Has anyone any ideas?
As a rehabilitation nurse I have been privileged to hear testimony from patients who have been in a coma or sedated in an ICU who have described profound spiritual experiences that occurred to them in that altered state when they have come to. Experiences of encounters with Jesus, angels, relatives who have passed. I believe that the Lord can reach souls wherever they are. As for blind I thought the warning was more than visual but was a sense of where your soul stands at that moment in time.
She does. I offered the lady the chance to post on this anonymously or publically and she had declined. This is fine, it is a private thing. But as far as I am aware she does still believe . I have paid attention because I believe she is authentic. Tomorrow is indeed the date. I have not forgotten. But what else can I say?
Still think the warning is a year or two away. Pope has not yet gone to Moscow. But October is the month of the Rosary so it is still possible there may be pre-warning signs.
No, she must not be authentic. according to Aviso, the warning must be exactly one year, one month or one week before the miracle. In other words, it can only happen in march or april.
