I have the greatest sympathy for anyone who suffers migraine as Sister Claire Crockett did. I can see from several of the photos of her that she was down with a migraine but was struggling on. My own are very mild really but I know for some people they are so bad they actually have to go to hospital. I heard of a gentleman from Dublin whose were so bad he used to bang his head against the wall and beg God to let him die. I suspect Claire's kind were the worst. I have no idea how she carried on. Heroic virtue. Supernatural grace.
