When we can't see evil as it really is we are lost. I am afraid lots of our people when they see soemone educated, politically powerful, well spoken they fall for it like a load of dice. They think , 'Nice' people can only do 'nice 'things. Poor Fools.
In defense of Cardinal Dolan I would though say that he does a pretty good job considering he is in the most secularized and progressive city on the planet. He has a very proactive catholic young adults program in the archdiocese, with well selected youth and priests in charge - I have attended their events, masses, and recollections, and always was a great source for spiritual growth and sound doctrine - Dolan surely cares about his flock in NY even if sometimes he may seem to be too much on the stage hanging out with progressive politicians. I am pretty certain that his diplomatic skills with Di Blasio and others have prevented a much more severe treatment of the NY authorities on the Church and the religious congregations here - there is tremendous pressure in the democratic party in NYC, and New England too, to pass legislation that would oblige the Church and its congregations to pay taxes on any real estate they own, to name just one issue.
Throughout the world the Church has allowed itself to become compromised by accepting state monies for their schools and other institutions. The quid pro quo involves diluting the proclamation of uncomfortable truths. Better to pay taxes and speak the Truth, loud and clear.
Humanly speaking this seems logical and indeed wise. I had to go away and think and pray about this. The first thing I would say is that wishing to murder unborn babies is probably the most evil thing a person could ever wish to do. Those who wish to kill babies then are by definition totally evil. Most especially the politicians who at the very forefront of the war to break this mass murder of the innocent to pass. The thesis here it seems to me as that by having truck with such people is fine if we can get good things out of them as a gratuity for being nice to them. For associating with them. Well you know the Church has done this in the past in quite a massive scale, without much good coming of it. I can think of tow cases as a n example, the Church engaging in Treaties with Fascist Germany and Italy at the prelude to the Second World War. With Mussolini at the Lateran Treaty and with Hitler in the Reichkonkordat Humanly speaking these seemed startling Diplomatic victory for the Vatican. But really all they did was to feed the beast which would turn and rend them, whilst thousands upon thousands of ordinary Catholics went to their deaths defending the CHurch from these monsters. I think that in dealing with evil and evil people it is better to treat a tiger like a tiger. Because if you don;t treat a tiger like a tiger it wil turn around eventually and eat you. Why? Well, because it is a tiger; that's why.

She is so twisted that she tries to imply that 'terminating' a child's life is not the same as killing the child. I don't know if she really believes this except perhaps in a very superficial sense; I'd say that, deep down, she knows very well that abortion is murder.

With "extreme prejudice" in this contexrt means with as much violence as necessary. What I allude to is the fact that "the man" whatever you perceive him to be has plans to deal with perceived over-population. It is clear that only the long prophesied direct intervention of God will save us. But where people are blind it is their own fault because they have not prayed. Those who do pray are wide awake. But there are so very,very few.
Friend, may I say in all humility, I find the abbreviation BVM very disrespectful. I much prefer when Our Blessed Mother is afforded her proper title.
