I’m ready to be King of France – Macron has brought Republic to ruin, says direct descendant of guillotined Louis XVI

A DESCENDANT of former French King Louis XVI has vowed to serve his country “if France wants the return of royalty” amid huge pressure on the government.

Louis de Bourbon says he is “dismayed” by the current state of French politicsunder Emmanuel Macron after he was forced to appoint a sixth Prime Ministerin the space of two years earlier this month.

Bourbon, known as Louis XX, spoke to the Journal du Dimanche newspaper about his readiness to serve France in “the face of the governing class’ negligence”.

He explained: “The political, institutional and social state of our country continues to worsen.

“I consider it my role as head of the House of Bourbon and heir of the dynasty that made France to speak on the issue.

“At a moment of decision, I hope that the monarchical legacy of which I am the trustee is still sufficiently vibrant in the heart of my compatriots to be a source of inspiration and, I must say, hope.”

King Louis XVI was the final King of France but his reign ended after the French Revolution.

He was later sentenced to death via guillotined alongside wife Marie-Antoinette.

Bourbon’s path to the throne goes through the late King due to Louis being the father of Philip V of Spain.

He is now the oldest male heir meaning, if France was to return to a monarchy at any time, he would be viewed as the first in line.

Some are now even calling for a Sixth Republic to be formed.

The idea of bringing back a King and Queen to Paris has gained some traction in recent months amid political turmoil.

On October 6, Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu resigned after just 27 days in office.

An under pressure Macron had only appointed Lecornu less than a month earlier – making him his fifth PM in the space of two years.

His shock resignation came just after he appointed his first cabinet.

Parisian political rivals threatened to topple the PM’s already struggling government after the cabinet was approved.

Both political allies and foes of Lecornu fumed at his choices and criticised it for either being too right-wing or not right-wing enough.

Macron spent four days looking for a new man to fill the PM role before he sensationally reappointed Lecornu.

The shocking move left much of France and the wider world puzzled around why Lecornu threw in the towel in the first place.

    Michel Barnier: 99 days – Sep 5, 2024 to Dec 13, 2024

    Gabriel Attal: 240 days – Jan 9, 2024 to Sep 5, 2024

Macron’s ever-changing cabinet is only one of the major issues.

Extremist parties are continuing to put pressure on France’s governmental establishment as a whole.

President Macron has faced a political crisis since he called an ill-advised snap election last summer.

His centrist bloc lost dozens of seats amid a spike in support for the far-right.

While a left wing coalition came first in the end, no party is anywhere close a majority in the French Parliament.

As Macron scrambles to stabilize his government, he is now also facing calls for his resignation.

Millions in France regularly take part in strikes and street marches, known as “Block Everything” protests, supported by trade unions.

Despite the fierce opposition, Macron is under no obligation to quit.

He will be forced to step down in 2027 after completing two terms of office – the maximum allowed in France.

According to Hervé Pinoteau, L’héraldique capétienne en 1976 p. 17: "The shield of France (azure with three gold fleurs-de-lis) stamped with the royal crown of France (closed and fleur-de-lis), surrounded by the collars of the Orders of Saint Michael and the Holy Spirit, held by two angels in white robes, the wings of the angel on the right are azure and gold, those of the angel on the left are gules and gold. The composition is surmounted by a Sacred Heart of Jesus gules pierced with gold in the center of a heart of Mary azure, separated by a gold line, together placed on a gold sun with 12 straight rays and 12 wavy rays." and the regulations governing the coat of arms of Jacques-Henri de Bourbon, Duke of Anjou, dated March 11, 1969, and the Decision of the Prince's Council of February 2, 1989.

Almost every person of European descent is a descendant of Charlemagne.

I think it’s possible that we’ve found the Great Monarch, but only time will tell.

Well, I found out a few years ago that I have Spanish ancestry, so knowing that brightened my day. :D
I think someone once mentioned here on the forum that the monarch would come from a dynastic branch believed to be extinct. Thus, it would be a surprise, supposedly emerging from a remote place, like the Holy Family in the stable at Bethlehem, with the lineage of David far from the royal palaces at that time.
But if Luis Alfonso is indeed the monarch, would France be one step away from the chastisement composed of the events that would lead to his rise?

If I rember correctly there is a line from the French monarchy that is not the chosen line. The great monarch will be decended from the son of Marie Antoinette & Louis who was believed to have died in prison but who was actually rescued and taken outside France. His decendant is living outside France and will appear at the chosen time.

    I hope it’s him. But Xavier doesn’t.
Marie Julie Jahenny said that the French King will be born in France but that France does not possesses him (meaning he lives abroad).

The Prophecy of the Coming Great Monarch has become part almost of the Catholic DNA especially in Trad Catholic culture and no wonder it goes back centuries constantly repeated by numerous mystics and Saints and is especially well known in France itself. There can be few Catholic there who have not heard of it. Personally I have never doubted it.

Reading the Signs of the times as the Islamic / Russian invasion of Europe approaches very closely there can be no doubt that the time of his unveiling has come to us.

I don't know until very recently that the Spanish themselves have a long held Prophecy of a Great Monarch who is known as King Juan (John).

I would not want to dot my , 'I's' and cross my, 'T' too much about how exactly he fits all the prophecies this guy does seem like a very good fit.

Just a thought , though, if the Catholic Monarch is waiting on the wings and just about to go centre stage than the Great Pope is waiting in the wings too..

The Great Monarch and Reforming Pope
Another prominent prophecy recorded in The Reign of Antichrist concerns the French Monarch said to rule the world near the end of time. Rabanus Maurus (d. 856) said this:

“Our principal doctors agree in announcing to us, that towards the end of time one of the descendants of the kings of France shall reign over all the Roman Empire; and that he shall be the greatest of the Empire; and that he shall be the greatest of the French monarchs, and the last of his race. … After having most happily governed his kingdom, he will go to Jerusalem, and depose on Mount Olivet his scepter and crown. This shall be the end and conclusion of the Roman and Christian Empire.

St. Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2:7: “For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holds, do hold, until he be taken out of the way.” This is what is holding back the Antichrist from appearing in the world. Traditionally, what is understood to be holding him back is the Roman Empire. Combining that with the prophecy above, it appears that the French Monarch is the last one who will hold back the Antichrist and when he is gone, the Antichrist will finally appear.

The book Prophecy for Today, by Edward Conner (Tan Books, 1884), has a chapter entitled “The Great Monarch and the Angelic Pastor,” which is entirely dedicated to various prophecies about the French Monarch and Reforming Pope. These prophecies include:

St. Hippolytus (d. 235) – “The Great French Monarch who shall subject all the East shall come around the end of the world.”

Monk Adso (d. 992) – “Some of our teachers say that a King of the Franks will possess the entire Roman Empire. This King will be the greatest and last of all monarchs, and after having prosperously governed his kingdom he will come in the end to Jerusalem and he will lay down his scepter and his crown upon the Mount of Olives. This will be the end and consummation of the Empire of Rome, and immediately afterwards Antichrist will come.”

St. Caesar of Arles (d. 543) – “This prince [French Monarch] shall extend his dominion over the entire universe. At the same time there will be a Great Pope, who will be most eminent in sanctity and most perfect in every quality. This Pope shall have with him the Great Monarch, a most virtuous man, who shall be a scion of the holy race of the French kings. This Great Monarch will assist the Pope in the reformation of the whole earth.”

Venerable Magdalene Porzat (d. 1850) – “An enormous bird (Great Monarch) shall awake as from a sleep, and with its terrible bill and claws shall sever the ox’s neck and shall eagerly devour the intestines of the wicked dragon. He shall drag to the mud the tricolor (revolutionary) flag of the French and restore to their dominions the legitimate kings. A just and pious man born in Galicia shall be the Supreme Pontiff; then the whole world shall be united and prosperous. One faith only and one emperor shall reign over the whole earth.”

The book Trial, Tribulation & Triumph, by Desmond A. Birch (Queenship Publishing, 1996), also contains various prophecies about the French Monarch, the Three Days of Darkness, and the Era of Peace, including:

St. Methodius (d. 311) – “A day will come when the enemies of Christ will boast of having conquered the whole world. They will say: ‘Christians cannot escape now!’ But a Great king will arise to fight the enemies of God. He will defeat them, and peace will be given to the world, and the Church will be freed from her anxieties.”

Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser (b. 1613) – “The fifth period of the Church, which began circa 1520, will end with the arrival of the Holy Pope and of the powerful Monarch who is called ‘Help From God’ because he will restore everything.”

Nursing Nun of Belay (19th century) – “A saint raises his arms to Heaven; he allays the wrath of God. He ascends the throne of Peter. At the same time, the Great Monarch ascends the throne of his ancestors. All is quiet now. Altars are set up again; religion comes to life again. What I see now is so wonderful that I am unable to express it.”

Yet another prophecy comes from Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora. In the early 1800’s, shortly after the French Revolution, Our Lord appeared and told her that the crimes in the world and in the Church had reached a peak and that He was going to send a chastisement. Elizabeth pleaded for mercy, in part by agreeing to spend nine days in hell as an act of reparation. Our Lord relented, saying that He would send several holy Popes who would be firm in the teaching given to the Apostles. However, He also said that Freemasonry would rise again and that it would be so successful that He would have to then send the chastisement so that all would not be lost.

It was also revealed to Blessed Elizabeth that an ecclesiastical crisis would occur in the future and would progress to the point where it would seem that the Church had disappeared. A small number of lay persons and clergy would defend it against a larger number trying to destroy it by introducing devastating changes. At the peak of the crisis there would be two Popes. The true Pope would be forced to leave Rome and would be murdered in exile, leaving the Church without a head. Shortly after that time, the chastisement (Three Days of Darkness) would be sent to eliminate the enemies of God. The minority of mankind who were left would then be led by a Pope, born near Rome, appointed by St. Peter himself, and known as “Peter the Roman,” which is the phrase given to the last Pope in the line of the prophecy of St. Malachy.

I think it's more probable most Europenas are descendants from Atilla the Hun.

What is exciting here is not that he will be king, maybe he will, maybe he won't, but that the word has been spoken- king. People have been so indoctrinated with democracy believing it to be the best form of government, so for me personally, seeing just the word monarchy is good!

I believe that a natural consequence of the rise of a Christian emperor is that a council will be convened as it was in the early days of the Church, that is, with the moderating authority of the Roman emperor present.
