Honestly, it is so uplifting. There are many, many people who are dreaming of doing this, so to see you and your family guided by the Holy Spirt to make this move is amazing. To be so trusting in God is the only reason you are able to do it. Good for your family! Please keep us posted. I for one am sharing this - hoping to inspire my family to want the same. A lot of us are feeling the draw.
It is amazing how many are feeling the pull away from the city and onto land... My husband talks to his coworkers (mechanics) about our plans and so many of them either have just recently done it or are hoping to soon. My feeling is that God is calling us back to our roots and revitalizing the countryside. I think it's good for our souls and will help reshape the future society. My kids are so excited. I thought my almost 9-year-old who has spent his entire life in this house would be at least a little anxious or sad over the move...but no. He is so ready. He stands outside and says, "All I hear is cars. I want to hear the wind."
We are told in the messages of Our Lady from Quito??? Or Marie Julie Jahenny---cant remember--that God is going to take us all back to a very simple way of life. These stirrings in the hearts of young families may verywell be the beginning of that.
PF, you are very fortunate to be able to install a motor home on your new property. We can't do that here.
A mobile home, yes. There are many areas here where you can't do that, but where we're looking for land it is unrestricted. And the mobile home I love is very nicely built. Especially if I can afford a porch for it, it really won't look much like a mobile home. But who knows, we might find land with a house already on it. We're trusting God to find us what would be best.
