I don't understand prophesy really but I think Johns messages are true. They are frightening but also ring true to me. I hope God lets him tell us a lot more.

Ditto. Discernment is difficult, particularly on subjects laced with emotion. Your insightful, measured responses are always appreciated, Peter!

I read your link above. That makes complete sense to me even though I don't understand Protestants. After reading that link I know I understand fallen away Catholics even less. I don't know howpeople can say that the Bible and 2000 years of church history is wrong - that its all been a joke everyone before us was wrong to believe in what the church said and only now are people all intelligent enough to see through it. I never under stood Martin Luther over this same thing - right up until the reformation people were being led astray - and Luther was the only one in all those years who figured that out.

    My Dear Friend,

Thank you for your comment. There is much more that Our Lady and the Holy Spirit will allow me to share. There some areas that I am told to hold back and others that have not been revealed to me. As the coming chastisement gets closer it will be revealed as God's Plan begins to unfold. There are other anointed individuals that have come forward and the Lord has shown them almost the same as I was blessed by the Grace of God. I have received many emails and phone calls and have had visitors from out of Texas come to pray and share with me. I must always remember that I am only a messenger and God is the author of what I share.

May the Lord bring us all together with love and peace as one family,

    John

I think it is an error in judgement personally to dismiss a visionary solely based on how one may respond to a post for exactly what Peter pointed out but also because of the simple fact that visionaries are human too and as human they are still filled with temptation of anger and pride regardless of whether God is talking to them. The devil knows how to push our buttons and he is very good at reminding us of the things that give us a rise in our anger and take us to the point of lashing out with our tongues. The devil's greatest weapon and tool he uses is the whip of our tongues towards our brothers and sisters if you ask me. This whip does far more damage than any sword could ever do.

The apostles and all the saints other than Mary were filled with sin in their lives as well and yet they, the apostles walked with the Lord. They were with God and yet still sinned! St. Peter denied Christ 3 times in his own fear. He sinned greatly in this denial for he lied to deceive to save his own hide in his own fears. How often is all our own sins based in fear as well? Expectations are that anyone God is speaking to they must be saints on earth never sinning but I feel any of these people walking around among us are just like us with a library full of sins in their life. Thank God for His mercy to forgive our library of sin or non of us would be in heaven for while we all have a library full of sins it only takes one sin to condemn us. God detests sin and just one will keep you away from being with Him forever for you cannot have unrepentive sin in your life and be with God at the same time. To sin against God cuts us off from the life source that is God. Sin takes us away from God even just one! That would be a paradox to heaven to say you can be still in sin and yet also be in heaven. It is not possible and thus why we need to be purified in purgatory before we can ever be with God in heaven. It only took one sin for the angels to fall from heaven. It only took one sin for Adam and Eve to be kicked out of the Garden. How can anyone even begin to pass judgement on the validity of another and their relationship with God based on the defense of their ministry in what could be viewed as an uncharitable way is beyond me. Remember not all anger is a sin. Their is righteous anger. Jesus did not sin when he overturned the money changers cart in the temple for this desecrated the Lord. When John, if valid has a ministry and a job to do from God and then others attack him and this ministry is this not righteous anger to defend God and the job He has given to John?

All I am saying is be very careful in passing quick judgement on another. Be very careful in pointing out the splinter in another's eye and ignoring that log in our own. Pray pray and pray for discernment because I believe in doing so we will know the truth when the time is right. We are all in our discernment process and yet their are conclusions still on both sides being made. Only one side can be accurate and yet many still find themselves coming to different conclusions still.

As for the split in the US. There are a number of non-catholic visions that point to this exact thing. The hopi's have seen it but the most famous one that I have ever read about comes from Edgar Cayce: Here is the famous map of the US that he saw:

I have thought about this map for many years especially since if it comes true my home will be pretty much inner coastal property since I live on the Ohio River which runs into the Mississippi and sits near the greatest fault line in the US in the new madrid area. It is not a question of if but when this geological event will happen. The New Madrid could litterally tear all this wide open and could happen on its own or a chain reaction of events. For those who know anything about HAARP it would not have to be an act of God that does this but an act of Evil. I have often thought that the oil spill in the gulf would be connected to this as well as the sink hole in Louisiana as well as the yellowstone super volcanoe and big one in California. It could all be connected to one trigger point both by God or by evil. One non catholic christian in Puerto Rico claims it will be biblical and due to a meteor that will strike east of Puerto Rico in the ocean creating the chain of events. This would create the new madrid fault earthquake as well as the big one up the west coast from which would displace so much water and destroy a lot of the west to the Rockies. It would also trigger the yellowstone super volcano. I have read so much on this for so many years now that I truly believe it is not if but when. We all know about wormwood in Revelation falling from the sky and crashing into the sea destroying a third of all life on Earth. What else could wormwood be other than a meteor or "fire from heaven" creating this chain of events.

I asked Padraid, the boss here, if I could give my opinion and he said to me yes, go on but I should not so I made a mistake and did not wanted to hurt anyone, I gave my opinion yesterday evening and as usual I was tired, I have also my own blog and I can understand you what to be hurt means, so mea culpa Mr Martinez, servant of God, I have also read your messages especially the last one and gave them to some of my relatives, who are more accustomed about private locutions, if you like, I'll be pleased to share with you their feeling, if not I will keep it for me.

As you quote also our greastest Warriors, Saint Michael, strangely I wrote 2 articles about him and Garabandal 2 days ago, let me share with you my Brother the cries of our warrior and as you know surely when the greatest warrior cry, what else could we add :

Please Pray for me, God Bless you

    PS :

Lucy asked sadly: “Am I to stay here alone?”

Our Lady: “No, My daughter. Do you suffer a great deal? Don’t lose heart. I will never forsake you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

Like many others, Peter, I always enjoy your contributions but you say, above, something you have mentioned before in your posts. But if we accept that there are many false messages and messengers (and maybe we differ on how many are false), shouldn't we expect the false ones to copy the authentic ones? That the false ones are similar to each other (and even to authentic ones!) just seems very unsurprising to me.

Fatima My Brother, firstable you have to know that I liked your messages, anytime I read this wonderfull forum, your messages with soùe others as those from Padraig, given me peace and humility and yours are very interesting, I did not wanted to hurt Mr Martinez, Servant of God, my opinion has no weight in any case and I just told him, but between us and in my opinion only, Garabandal did reveal the main part of the Fatima secret and that's the problem, of course these last days and since the death of Joey, have been difficult for any of us but we still have hope, I am not blind as well, if one day the Chuch condamned Garabandal then of course I will stay behing the Church, maybe soon and time will tell.

    Pray for me

I am sorry Peter, my english is not enought good to understand all your messages, of course if you talked frenchl, it would be easier, any way I just have a simple question if I can :

To those of you who are unhappy at John's strong reaction, please try at least to understand it on a human level. If someone (especially a person with official diocesan responsibilities) is convinced that they have been receiving private revelation over several years and have gone through a discernment process with a spiritual director they are hardly likely to be pleased when anonymous commentators make pronouncements on the authenticity of the supposed message on the basis of nothing more than casual acquaintance with a few blog posts. John's response may seem unduly combative to some, but please remember a) that he is personally heavily invested in this ministry b) the stakes are extremely high and c) he is writing in his second language.

These words when anonymous commentators make pronoucements.....etc....are you talking about me ? or it's for everybody, thank you in advance for your answer Peter B.

Absolutely. MDM is the perfect case in point - the traction she managed to get for a strangely long time was to a large extent the result of her having copied (I think we can now safely say this) messages with a certain pedigree.

However, there are two slightly separate issues here:
    a) which human beings are telling us the truth?
    and
    b) what is God trying to communicate to us?

My impression is that we have a paradoxical situation in that there are almost certainly a great many messages out there (both Catholic and non-Catholic) with a high truth content which is nonetheless derivative. This is why the two questions are not identical.

The problem of plagiarism/subconscious influence of one visionary on another is a very tricky one which definitely complicates discernment. One key issue is whether similarities can be identified between sources (locutions, visions, near-death experiences) which are genuinely independent of one another and have no 'common ancestor'. For example, when you get Jerame Nelson, a young American evangelical, describing his encounter with Jesus who shows him his heart in flames, it is extremely improbable that he simply derived this from Sacred Heart mysticism! This is where a comparative study of Catholic and non-Catholic sources can yield instructive results, I think, as the appearance of identical elements in different traditions would appear to provide a strong hint that something is going on.

If we're still at a loss as to how to evaluate doctrinally orthodox prophecy with no patently obvious red flags, we're forced to ask other questions. These might include:

    - Are there any corroborating signs in terms of happenings inexplicable on a purely human or scientific level (as with the weeping statue in Akita, for example, or the exsudations of icons in Soufanieh and, apparently, the house of Luz de Maria Bonilla)?

    - In the case of extended locutions, do these clearly go beyond the linguistic ability of the supposed locutionist (a contemporary example might be Sulema receiving messages in French, which she can hardly speak, rather than her native Spanish)? Or demonstrate superior theological maturity (for anyone who has read them, Javier Viesca's extended rosary meditations at http://diospadresemanifesta.com - virtual pedagogical essays - seem to fall into this category, as do many of the TLIG messages, especially the later ones). Is there clear evidence of fulfilled prophecy/precognition of events which are too precise to be a lucky guess (prima facie, Vincent Selvakumar's and Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj's filmed 2013 prophecy to the Philippines detailing what would subsequently occur in Typhoon Haiyan is in this category, as are specific predictions of tsunamis given to Valentina Papagna which are definite examples of precognition unless she has deliberately falsified the dates)?

    - If the alleged visionary has an apostolate/ministry, what have been its fruits (this is particularly applicable when trying to assess charismatic/evangelical 'prophetic ministers', of whom there are maybe thousands out there)? What endorsements have been given by others?

No, it's a comment with a more general application (and not just on this forum!). It's not directed against any one individual. I would nonetheless like to stress the technical aspect here - the fact that folks are anonymous is probably beneficial in terms of freedom of expression, but it doesn't necessarily favour a responsible attitude. That's why certain discussion forums rather opt for identification by Facebook account.

I am very happy to have received your email. We are all children of God and need to recognize that we are a family of believers. I respect your opinion and may you continue to to share what is in your heart. I apologies if I have offended you in any manner. I ask for your forgiveness.

I am happy that you share our messages to your family and I would love to hear their discernment. My wife and watch the video on St Michael and we were amazed as to we know is happening in the spiritual world. The Lord is showing us many signs of His love and Mercy and we as God’s children must come together under His protection and be ready when we are called. It is difficult for many of us that the Lord has chosen to see that the signs and warning are very simple and clear. It has been prophecies by Jesus of the intervention of our Father in heaven to wake up the whole world as to what is coming if the sinfulness of mankind does not change. We all need each other to become warriors for Our Lord with St. Michael leading the Charge. I am very happy to hear from you and may the Lord multiply His blessings upon you and your mission.

Your brother and servant in Jesus Christ,

    John

John Martinez Jr Refuges: By Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Spirit

I believe that Divine Providence is bringing us together. All that I have shared with comes from the Our Lady and the Holy Spirit. In 1982 I was shown a Map of the Future USA. I could not understand at first what I was being shown because I was a growing baby Roman Catholic Christian. As I was growing in my spiritual journey and was taught and shown many spiritual things, I began to see the larger picture. I did not know what to think. I have found out that if a vision or prophecy is from God, He will confirm it. A week after I had this vision I received a letter from an elderly gentleman from Blanco, Texas about 30 miles from San Antonio. He wrote to me and told me that he had received this vision of the Future Map of the USA in 1956. I was stunned because it was the same map I was shown. I never met the gentleman and never made contact with him.

Many years later we moved to the Texas Hill Country and were gracefully accepted into the small town community of Fredericksburg, Texas. My wife and I became involved in different ministries in our parish. We were let to start a Prayer meeting at our home and several people became part of this small prayer group. One of the subjects was the importance of the Texas Hill Country to God. I shared my vision with the group and everyone was curious, which is normal. I tried to look for the original map that was given to me, but I could not find it. The following week one of the ladies from Johnson City, Texas brought a Map and showed it to me. I was stunned, because it was the same Map that I was shown by Our Lady and the same Map that was send to me by the elderly gentleman in Blanco, Texas over 30 years ago. She had been given a copy from someone

Today when I saw this map I was prompted to share what I was shown.

    FOR YOUR DISCERNMENT (PLEASE)

    View attachment 2051

There are many things that are coming together now. We are no longer separation by distance but are only an email or phone call from each other. I do not profess that this accurate, but this many anointed people have confirm to me to be true.

    John.

I have visited the afterthewarning site.

I think it is fair to say that you have excellent command of the english language.

This thread now on its 11th page, I feel justified in asking you the question that formed in my mind by the 2nd page.

Why did you give the title to this thread as
"How do I have someone discern my article on ...?"

Peter, that was my reaction as well. If I, a human prone to sin, were shown these things by Mary or God Himself, and I shared with this group, my reaction as a mere human who was attacked would probably be the same. Just because someone has received a vision or instructions does not make them a perfect person, they're just like us. 'Cept Mary or God talks to them :)

My other thought about the refuges and if they are possible is that when my wife and I went on the pilgrimage to Fatima, we traveled across Portugal and we saw anti-aircraft guns on various hilltops across the countryside. They were built by the Portuguese to defend themselves against the Axis of evil in WWII. None of those guns were ever fired. I don't believe a shot was ever fired upon or from Portugal in WWII. I believe one of the things Mary promised the children at Fatima was that Portugal would be protected if they followed her instructions. I would think that would qualify as a refuge provided the faithful in Portugal during a huge tribulation in Europe during WWII. By the way, every church we went to in Portugal, no matter the time or day, was full of faithful Catholics praying the rosary. At all times.
