What a saint of God and how Our Lord loved her and she, Our Lord! I was blessed to be in France this last October and to venerate the relic of her rib bone. It lies in a reliquary in the ancient monastery of Vézelay. It was a privilege I will never forget. St. Mary Magdalene, pray for us!~AN
She is a great favorite of mine. What love--til the end. And then being the first to see Him at the Resurrection. I love the account. She thought He was the gardiner and then He said her name "Mary." Can you imagine the joy.
A favorite of mine, as well! To think of the love present there, not to mention the trust they had in each other: Our Lord gave her a commission and she would’ve followed Him everywhere...and DID, beneath His cross.
