I did read years ago that it can stir up things, retaliations and I sure don't need that. I remember my mom telling me that years ago also, yet I see the long prayer of St Michael printed on fb or prayer groups and they are given to the laity to say on their own.

 

I was there and it helped me so much. Enjoyed the rosary also.
