The closest I could find is that there was an interview of Conchita by José Luis Gutiérrez where she allegedly said this, but I cannot find a transcript of it. I feel like the Church needs a Wikipedia for visions and miracles with citations.

Does the book have a citation for this? I am not arguing just curious if it ties back to the José Luis Gutiérrez interview in 1965 or if this was simply what was documented in 1962. It also says in the caption under the photo that SJPII will be the last Pope, implying it will be him making the voyage. Who did this come from?
Simply documented from 1962. And NOT the last Pope. The Last Pope and then a beginning of a New Era. A New Epoch! That’s what Blessed Mother said. Many interpreted the last Pope as the last one ever. There was more to the quote-specifically-with death of Pope Benedict XVI marked the end of an Era & beginning of a New Epoch. (It was 4 Popes not the originally thought 3) St Pope Paul VI, JP1-who was not counted Bec of his short reign as Conchita detailed later per Blessed Mother-JPII and then Pope Benedict XVI. Then with Pope Francis began the New Era or New Epoch!

Both authors of the book Jacques Serre, and Beatrice Caux were in Garabandal for quite some time, so I believe that this is their recollection in this book. I might also add that the 3 "quotes" under the picture are not attributed to a specific person or visionary, and may have been inserted by the authors taking some "poetic license ". I have never heard any visionary say JPII was going to Garabandal, never said he specifically will see the Miracle. I back this up with a quote from an interview Conchita did in June of 1978 with Fr. Benac: Fr.Benac: Regarding the Pope, I understand that Our Lady said he would see the Miracle from wherever he was. Is that correct? Did she refer to the present Pope? Conchita: No. When I said that, Pope John XXIII was reigning. She did not say which Pope, just simply "the Pope."

There is no interview in which Conchita or any other visionary speaks about the Pope's trip to Russia, and this topic is crucial because it marks the beginning of serious events. Another hoax circulating online: Regarding the Warning, and before it happens (The Warning), the situation in the Church will be very bad, to the point that a painful and devastating event will occur. In fact, Serafim, Conchita González's older brother, said he heard his sister Conchita (one of the four visionaries) during an ecstasy, announcing that the Warning would come after a painful rupture in the Church, "a kind of schism." Thus, the coming Warning will be associated with a painful mystery that will haunt the Church. Likewise, Mari-Loli, one of the four girls from Garabandal, also said that at that time "the Pope could not be in Rome openly... that they would persecute him and that he would have to hide..." Just so you know, the Warning happens unexpectedly ,where ever you are, no one travels anywhere to see it. Maybe you are thinking about the " Miracle" at the Pines of Garabandal, that is where people will travel to.
Conchita has never mentioned this future event: the schism in the Church. The visionaries have been very careful and cautious about observing the dates or events that mark the beginning of the warning. The end times are coming, but the future is being built day by day, and many people are being called to the Church. There are new youth movements, for example in Spain with Hakuna, that are bringing back thousands of souls who had abandoned their faith. Hundreds of millions of us pray the rosary every day and take communion every day in an attempt to reverse the changes. I don't believe God will ignore all these pleas.
You are incorrect. Conchita CLEARLY add to her original statement that Mary said the was 4 POPES , not 3, as one had a very short reign, JPI, 33 days. She also said THE END OF THE TIMES" NOT THE END OF TIME. Lets try to get the quotes correct when posts when your whole point is built on incorrect quotes.

People couldn't leave their homes. Four months of being arrested in our homes! But that doesn't quickly trigger the events (the Warning). They DID CONFIRM in many interviews, but in older books and magazines which unfortunately people dont bother reading. That's why I can post them here, I HAVE READ EVERYTING they have ever said. I had access to all Joey's early magazines and the Editor Barry Hanratty everyday at the NY Center. Its the fault of the internet onlookers who dont bother doing their due diligence, NOT the girls.
Hello, Glenn, the story about the trip to Russia only came to light less than five years ago. I'd have to review the first editions of those books because I have the feeling they've changed them.
No thats not true., Again maybe for you, I had the information from Jacques Serre's book in 1999 !! This is the difference, nobody reads or researches as much as I do, not to mention personal conversations with Conchita. So lets ease up on all the negative posts, because you can mislead others unitentionally by your posts.
