Today in Garabandal History : November 21, 1962. “All that I wrote for the day before happened today as well, except that Jacinta didn’t have an apparition. There is something I think I should write, but it is a very delicate matter. It has to do with a Belgian woman of French nationality. She felt as if the Virgin kissed her when Conchita held up her wedding band to be kissed. I have to say that this is what we think she said. We are almost positive that this was what she said, but it could also be a misunderstanding since she only speaks French, and no one who was there spoke it well. June 23, 1962 “ Few will see God” Maria (Loli) Dolores Mazon, Jacinta Gonzalez 13 years old "The Virgin has told us: The world continues the same...That it has not changed at all. FEW WILL SEE GOD. They are so few that it causes The Virgin much Sorrow. What a pity that it does not change. The Virgin told us that the Chastisement is coming seeing that the world is not changing. The cup is filling up. How sad the Virgin was although She didn't let us see it because She loves us so much and She suffers alone. She is so good! BE GOOD EVERYONE SO THAT THE VIRGIN WILL BE HAPPY. She told us that We who are good should pray for those who are bad. Let us pray to God for the world for those who do not know Him. WHY IS GARABANDAL SACRED GROUND ? We all know about the special area of Garabandal called "The Pines". The 9 Pine trees where the Blessed Mother appeared, and foretold of the great Miracle that will take place there. Mary said "It will be the greatest miracle that my Son, Jesus, will have ever performed for mankind.” The Virgin Mary referred to “the Pines“ : "God loves this place very much. This place is sacred." “GARABANDAL JOURNAL” NOV.-DEC. 2002 I have been told that Garabandal has a history of doing a nightly Rosary for hundreds of years ! It’s no wonder why “God loves this place very much, this place is sacred !” Is there another apparition site where God has said this ? (Not that I know of ).
NEW BISHOP APPOINTED FOR SANTANDER Resignation and appointment of Santander, Spain The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Santander, Spain, presented by Bishop Manuel Sánchez Monge. The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Arturo Pablo Ros Murgadas as bishop of Santander, Spain, transferring him from the titular see of Ursona and the office of auxiliary of Valencia. (Appointed October 31, 2023, will be installed December 16,2023 ) Lets all pray he is open minded to the apparitions of Garabandal. TODAY IN GARABANDAL HISTORY NOVEMBER 25,1966 Notes recorded by Mother Nieves ( the directress of Conchita's college ) "Conchita's Recollections" " I remember that my village made me suffer. I felt as if imprisoned in it. I acted by the command of others who constantly advised me, Go to Mass , . . Pray the rosary . . . Do this , . . Give up that ... At times I thought I would be happy to be in a hermitage away from everyone, and to work there alone for God, and see what I was capable of doing without their forever telling me."
I was asked: “Why 8 days notice before the Miracle ? “ Mary never revealed exactly why she chose that number of days at Garabandal, but the number 8 is very significant in my opinion, and it is used 73 times in the Bible. It is the symbol of Resurrection and Regeneration. In Bible numerology, 8 it denotes new beginning. Maybe that is why Mary remarked after the 4 popes, would be the “end of the times”, denoting a “new time” or era, would begin with the Warning and Miracle. We have another chance to live as God wants us to, (as he has shown us the error of our ways in the Warning), a new beginning. "Thy Kingdom come Thy Will be done, on earth AS it is in Heaven", sounds like the fulfillment of the "Our Father" prayer to me.
Today in Garabandal history: November 27, 1962. "The apparitions happened normally, that is to say on Tuesday the 27th and Wednesday the 28th Conchita and Loli had apparitions and so did Jacinta, who had one by herself. Loli had one all of these days except one, and Mari Cruz continued without having any since August 28th of this year. On the 27th, the day of the miraculous medal, the three girls had an apparition beginning when the rosary ended and lasting 165 minutes."
Today in Garabandal History NOVEMBER 28, 1963: For the second time this month, when the locutions began, each of the two visionaries was unaware that her companion was going through the same spiritual experience. CONCHITA'S AND MARI-LOLI'S LOCUTIONS The Blessed Virgin spoke to the two visionaries about Felipe Sobrado, a priest martyr of the Spanish Civil War, and whose remains were transferred to the church of Pontejoz, on November 18, 1963 precisely. "He will not be canonized, but through his intercession God will perform miracles" said the Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmel to Conchita. The locutions always came when Conchita and Loli were praying. Today in Garabandal history : November 29,1966 (A foreshadowing of Mary's future prediction of "many priests are on the road to perdition " ) Notes recorded by Mother Nieves ( the directress of Conchita's college ) "Conchita's Recollections" Conchita: " I remember a young priest of the Heart of Mary, to whom I wanted to give the crucifix to kiss, drew back, and weeping said, I am not worthy, I am not worthy . . . When I had finished seeing the Virgin, I went up to him and, apart from everyone, communicated to him what she had told me. He wants to take off the habit and leave the congregation. On hearing this, he began to cry again. I've never seen him since."

Do you remember what the Blessed Mother said about the communist tribulation that is to precede the Warning? A. Answer: “I have great memories about everything but especially that of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.” Question : it is said that you were privileged to have a vision of Jesus as a grown man during the apparitions can you tell us about this? Answer :”as I said before it was a great memory for me, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, that will never be erased from my heart it was certain that I saw him. “ Question: did you have any locutions with Jesus ? Answer :” I have never had any locutions.”
Conchita comments on some priests she met. December 2,1966 Conchita: " Before the Virgin told me about it, I thought that all priests were good. It had never occurred to me that they could commit mortal sins too. I have known many . . . Some appeared holy to me in the beginning; later I saw things that I didn't like. I learned later how people can be deceived. At first I was very friendly to all, but on noticing that my trust was badly interpreted, I changed.” “Sometimes I wonder if there's anyone among the persons that I know who really loves me. Many compliments, many endearing phrases, but they want me for themselves. I saw that even the priests got angry with each other in order to have a bigger part or involvement with me ... Conchita on why Mary comes to visit. December 3,1966 "When I think about the Virgin, I picture her as something I dreamed. How nice it would be if now she would come here in this parlor with the two of us! What a joy! It isn't necessary to be perfect to see her. I have been a girl with many faults. On the day on which the Angel appeared to us, I had just fought with Jacinta. And I see that today I still don't like to pray. She comes to make us good ." SAINT PADRE PIO & CONCHITA Upon Padre Pio’s death in 1968 ,his close friend Father Bernardino Cennamo, was instructed to give Conchita several of his personal items. The priest gave Conchita one of the three veils that covered Padre Pio's face during his wake, saying that the stigmatist had requested this before he died. Conchita also was given Padre Pio's rosary, and one of the gloves he wore, blood stained by his stigmata. Conchita recounts: “I had the veil in front of me, as I was writing later that evening. When suddenly the whole room became filled with fragrance, the perfume so strong I started to cry.” Of all the people in the world he could have given these personal items to, he chose Conchita ! That speaks volumes to me about validity.
ADVENT & LENT As we begin the “Advent season”, I want you to think about how it mirrors Lent. Both are times of preparation for meeting Jesus. During Lent we focus on sacrifice and penance in preparation for celebrating the risen Jesus. Here during Advent , we too should be focused again on sacrifice and penance for celebrating the birth of the infant Jesus . But first, we must lead good lives.
Today in Garabandal history: On December 6, 1962 Conchita had a 90 minute ecstasy around 5:30 in the afternoon after which, she provided two more pieces of information regarding the Miracle: 1) One day, before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle. 2) On the day of the Miracle, the note that she was forced to sign in Santander (stating that the apparitions were not authentic) will disappear. “SHE WENT IN HASTE TO THE MOUNTAIN” Book 3 page 103
