This looked really interesting. VICTORIOUS MYSTERIES: Upon being asked, we have spoken about a new set of Rosary Mysteries, because we have seen their power many times. The Holy Spirit gave them to one of our Chaplains, calling them, the VICTORIOUS MYSTERIES. We do not know how or if the Church will ever adopt these, and the Chaplain said that the responsibility belongs to the Holy Spirit. He was just the instrument used and wants no claim to fame because of them. However, a number of times when I have mentioned these mysteries on pilgrimages or at various prayer meetings, it has resulted in some very positive and surprising results. When talking about these mysteries, I usually do not even suggest that we pray them, but often the people begin to show a great deal of interest and so we do pray them. ( If you need some immediate help, try them. See for yourself.) Several times I have prayed these mysteries when I was in urgent need of a "victory", and to my delight the problem was rapidly overcome. I have also learned to say one work ( or 2) after the name "Jesus"... an example...(sorrowful mysteries), 1) agonized, 2) scourged, 3) crowned, 4) carried, 5) crucified. A priest suggested that I also add the words, "I love You", (or "We love You") when praying with others and pause at the word WOMB, which also makes it easier for them to jump in for the second part of the Hail Mary: "Holy Mary, Mother of God, etc." Doing this makes the Rosary become more spiritually intense. Also, one never forgets what mystery one is presently praying, or where one left off. An example of praying this way is: 1)Jesus, agonized, I love You, 2) Jesus, scourged, I love You, etc. By adding, "I love You", after the name Jesus, it becomes a greater act of love towards Jesus. (Don't do this publicly, unless the person or people with whom you are praying all agree to it.) On a pilgrimage to France recently, a visionary told us that Our Lady wanted us to pray the Victorious mysteries in Laus, a beautiful new Shrine, not far below La Salette, While saying the second mystery, the visionary said that i a vision she saw a priest who was troubled by alcoholism struck by a sudden shaft of light and Our Lady said that at that moment, our prayers obtained his cure! There are simply too many incidents like this to go on telling you about. These are the VICTORIOUS MYSTERIES and a suggested "one word". If the Holy Spirit wants you to pray them, He will do the rest. (And they are all said in the present tense because Jesus is still doing it): 1) Jesus Who conquers the devil in the desert conquers 2) Jesus Who liberates the possessed from bondage liberates 3) Jesus Who washes the feet of His disciples washes 4) Jesus Who descends into hell to free the faithful descends 5) Jesus Whose Virgin Mother crushes the head of the serpent Virgin crushes +++
I just said these but I may not have done so exactly, as I said the sorrowful--and the one word plus I love you after Jesus in each Hail Mary and then dropped down to 1 to 5 Victorious also after each Hail Mary.So I was really doing 2 mysteries at once I think. Is it one or the other?
It took me forever to memorize the Luminous Mysteries. Now, the Victorious? I think my brain will explode.
[qu If I ever was to become a thief, it would be to steal a statue I've seen of Our Lady which depicts her crushing satan. This particular statue has joejerk looking truly dead as a doornail instead of simply holding the forbidden fruit in his mouth. I must go take a picture of it and put it on the forum. (Pray I don't cart Our Lady home with me! ). All of this victory talk brings to mind the words of a praise song: In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, we have the victory, Alleluia! In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, every demon has to flee! For when we stand in the name of Jesus, tell me who can stand against us? When we stand in the name of Jesus we have the VICTORY! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
I can already see that a lot of strength comes from these, and in particular the grace to know that we too can rise above our own difficulties through faith in him. Faith is also a great grace that can come from this, also the reminder that God can do anything... So many graces... can others add to this list? I love the statue of St Michael standing on the idiot downstairs making him prostrate before God. I bet the idiot just loved that!!! Never fear him, if you do pray some more, it will get rid of the fear. He is not the opposite of God, just the opposite of himself... He was never ever equal to God in anything... Also, if you feel him sniping at your ankles, tell him he was created like the rest of us. he hate this.. ) I love the above prayer.. I need to copy it down some time today... )
