Lots of $$$$$$$$$$$ to be made in selling human organs and tissues.

That can be the only reason.

First it was "Well abortions in the first trimester, the fetus is just a blob, so..."

Now it's up to actual birth.

What woman in her right mind would deliberately wait that long to decide, "Oh no, I don't want to have this 'fetus' (human being!!), I want an abortion now" when she's completed all three trimesters and is nearing OR IN actual labor???

I've never given birth, but I can't imagine any woman going through all phases to -- at very end -- "suddenly up and decide" she wants an abortion ... unless it's for $10,000 or the like transferred to a bank account. :(

It seems to me that all nations and people are a very small step away from having the decision made for them whether or not they will be permitted to have a child or how many children they will be allowed enforceable all the way up to birth in the case of those who refuse to comply. The social pressure put on those with large families will be immense and the social support systems such as churches and other groups of christian faithful will be continually and forcefully isolated to try to influence despair in those who follow God and not man.

Thankfully, the powers of this world understand little about the Grace of God.

In Iceland there are no Downes Syndrome people. They test all pregnancies for signs of this and women feel morally obliged to abort such infants

They do as well here in the US. My wife was quick to refuse the test. She was pretty offended actually.

They were doing this in the US when I was expecting my son in 1988. Yes, I was offended.

That's a strong use of words, Aidan. Have the bishops in Iceland concurred with this policy?

    Safe in the Father's Arms!

There is something very ,very special about children with Downe's syndrome. They are sent to us from heaven fora very, very special purpose. When we murder them all off this purpose is no longer fulfilled.

Actions have consequences, including mass murder.

Does anyone feel like crying for God? I mean, I feel so very sad sometimes that we are hurting God, the creator of the universe. I am sad for Him. We do not deserve all the blessings we have on this Earth :(

Yes! Remember little St. Francisco of Fatima? He spent the remainder of his life{while he could} in church, consoling God. Lucia said they left him in the church every morning going to school and would find him kneeling in the same position in church when they came back for him after school.

    Jesus wept.

Evil people don't like reminders of innocence.

I recall a Downs syndrome man in a nursing home a friend worked at.

I'd brought a hot lunch for friend and I, and this man couldn't resist trying to (gently, innocently) get his hand inside the bag.

I said quietly, "No, no ____; you can't have this food."

    He began to cry.

It's not that I didn't want to share, but he was a nursing home resident (specific diet).

    Innocent.
