The theological problems I am referring here are others than you say. A classical argument against the existence of God is that if He exists either he is not omnipotent or is not good because cannot or does not want to end with the problem of evil. This is not so because God does not usually intervene after the fall of man to "rescue" him from wars, natural catastrophes or from evil proceeding from human will. In some cases and by doing so He would actually go against human free will. This is how Catholic theology explain and justify the problem of evil. But if we look at the prophecies of Fatima, the Virgin is saying that either God will punish human race or He will not impair war, annihilation of several nations etc... if Her requests (Russia consecration) are not heeded. So, God could prevent evil to happen but He will only do it with a condition: an act of consecration. Actually WWII happened and millions of innocent people were killed but, according to the secrets, it could have been avoided but.. how? (look at my last post) This simply does fit neither with my idea of God nor with classical Christian theological argumentation regarding the problem of evil and could justify somehow the idea of an "evil god" brought up by the atheists argumentation when referring to the problem of evil.

Jose, This will be such an awesome grace for you. There are some on the forum who are preparing to consecrate ourselves to Our Lady next Monday. Today I have read that by consecrating oneself to Our Lady, she draws us more closely to the Cross so that in a profound act of worship, each of us individually and together as the Body of Christ, may unite ourselves to Christ in His act of consecration to the Father. This, of course occurred historically two thousand years ago, but we know at every Holy Mass you and I enter more deeply into this truth-filled reality. Isn't this awesome! As Mother, Mary enables me to worship my God more profoundly, to be transformed by the Love and Mercy of Jesus! Alleluia! Remember, theologically the definition of evil is a privation of goodness. Our Lady's request for consecration at Fatima was simply a call to increase goodness in the world by negating the threat of emerging evil (Communist Russia). Your consecration will excelerate you on the path of holiness. I'll pray for you. Thats wonderful! You're life will never be the same. Seriously, its a grace that you will wonder why you didn't do this years....ago! I actually should do it again. My fervor hasn't lessened, its only gotten greater. I spoke to a priest the other day. He was Anglican and has a family with five children and came over to the Catholic Church. He told me that the number one thing that changed his life forever when he came over to the Church was my gift of Fr. Gobbi's book to him. After that, it gave him the 'push' to do the 30 day Consecration and read de Monfort's book, which took him to a much higher level of understanding and prayer...I was of course THRILLED!!
I did it as a child. It is perhaps the reason why I never winded up in hell. Somehow it always stays with you and you never forget it. A great spiritual force for good.
It would fullfill the Garabandal message, which clearly stated that Communism will return and when it is at its worst, the Warning will come.

I think of the village of Garabandal now more than the one in Ireland. Although I do have a photo on my clinic wall of my old cousin John on Lough Neigh eel fishing. At his wake a small sign had 'inadvertently' been left near the coffin - "old fishermen never die - they just smell that way." Appearances can be deceptive. (I am Scottish, my Grandparents were Irish and I spent many happy childhood and teenage summers in Tyrone.) To me, the turmoil and the gathering darkness that seems to be thickening and spreading across our world, speaks of the prophesies of Fatima, Blesssed Elena, Garabandal etc coming into their time. There is an old saying "Coming events cast their shadows before them." Sure we are looking to the Ultimate Triumph of Goodness and Truth but there is a lot of shit to wade thru before we get there. We will get there. It has been promised. "My Immaculate Heart will Triumph." After the Warning I also believe that the 5th Dogma as revealed to Ida Peerdeman in Amsterdam in 1945 will be proclaimed and credit will be given where it is due. For some reason I am also thinking of the good priests who have been given a hard time by The Church and their heroic virtue in the face of this. Not only Padre Pio but also Fr Rookey who I knew and whose healing ministry began in Co. Tyrone when he founded a Servite Community there. Three people I know who asked me to ask Fr Rookey for prayers survived cancer. One of them was my Dad. His tumour simply disappeared overnight much to the consternation of the surgeons. Fr Rookey was eventually forbidden to hold healing services. I think of Fr Gruner. I am not sure what to believe about him but he seemed like a good man who put up a good fight and argued his case well. He seemed to me to be innocent of all charges leveled at him. When Jesus was struck in the face for supposedly being disrespectful to the high priest he turned to his assailant and challenged him to point out the offense he had committed. He did not simply turn the other cheek. He took a stand for Truth and against injustice. As did Fr Gruner. For me the evidence speaks for itself. Our Lady asked for Russia to be consecrated. Russia has never been specified. She asked for all the bishops to be united in the consecration. This has never been done. The old saying that 'Justice must not only be done but must be seen to be done' may have some pertinence here. Who can say that they have seen all the Bishops united in Consecrating Russia as requested. Maybe Our Lady did change her mind and accept a smaller gesture, but I doubt it. "It will be done, but late." Our Blessed mother has kept it simple, at least for us Garabandalists, "First lead good lives." This makes me think of my professional principle "First do no harm" but it is much more. I tend to go on a bit so I'll stop there.
You guys probably know about Blessed Elena's prophesy "Russia and its hidden armies (those forces it clandestinely supports perhaps) will overrun Europe and combat America." In Garabandal the prophesy was that Russia AND Communism would cause the trouble, not JUST Russian Communism. We are told it will hit us harder and faster than we can imagine. Perhaps this will be an EMP attack which takes only a few seconds to take its initial effect of destroying all electrical circuitry. Think of the chaos that would cause, no electric lights, no phones, no fridges, no cars, no computers, no life supports, no alarm systems to name but a few things. Who knows? The meek will inherit the earth perhaps because they are already used to living without these things. If natural events like huge earthquakes or tsunamis occur this could make the rest of us even more vulnerable to attack. Being struck by a meteorite is unlikely the scientists tell us, but it could happen. Of course Russia has recently forged extremely strong alliances with China and with North Korea with reciprocal benefits to all especially in terms of supplies and resources. Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are reportedly on high alert. 60,000 troops are massed on the Ukrainian border where a defensive wall is also being built.A Polish Minister of State has spoken of fears of Russian invasion of her country. Russia has supplied Argentina with bombers to assist in their drive to reclaim the Falklands (Putin does not like Cameron) and its mineral wealth and has begun again to supply Iran with missile launchers. Our Lady of Akita said, "Pray ,much the Rosary. I ALONE can save you from the calamities ahead." Our Lady has been assigned specifically to deal with the approaching calamities. This is Her God given mission. She is not replacing the Saving Power of Jesus. That is a done deal. But through her help a good number of the inhabitants of this earth will survive what lies ahead. Let us pray we are included in that number. I sound like a merchant of doom, a proper Jeremiah. But he was a good guy. I'm just an ordinary bloke. Better go and cheer myself up by watching the news. There is nothing as bad as this on that.......yet
There is a flood of extremely rich Chinese leaving China and settling in America. They seem to think their new found wealth and the pleasures and status it brings will be safer there. I wonder how many of them still have family members in China. This of course makes them vulnerabe to manipulation. They are, however, getting bolder by the day even having special gatherings where they show off their super cars to each other ....but of course this also gives away their identities. Satellites can see the individual hairs on one's head. Faces and number plates are no problem. Of course the Communist party already knows who they are. Their records are formidable. Perhaps they forget that China is still very much a Communist country despite the recent massive changes in its cities, social life and industries, despite the large number of billionaires it has produced. It is still ruled with an iron rod by the Communist Party. We have no idea of the full extent of its military might. No one makes a move there without its permission. There is no other rule there. One day it will reach out and take back all it has allowed. One day it will reach out to those who have run away and take them back too or at least get their own back on them. Everything that has happened in China in recent years has been done with the dark blessing of the Communist Party. It could not have been done without this. Is the day of reckoning near? In 2010 Pope Benedict talked about the prophesies of Mary being fulfilled in the next 7 years. That brings us to to 2017. He also said don't fool yourself into thinking that Fatima has had its day....there is more to come...bad at first , then good. Hang on to your rosaries and say them! I am getting worse - nearly frightening myself ...but it is true. Sleep well
It is a little frightening but I find it a source of great joy too. The hand that hurts is the hand that heals, as they say. It would be far worse if God just left us all on our own to get on with it.
