Remember to offer prayers for Mac tonight.... Jesus, I trust in You. Thinking and offering prayers for faithful Mac.
Prayers today at Adoration at National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception! That is, if I don't get off of this computer and drive up there soon
I am just seeing this thread now. I feel so awful that I somehow missed it for months. Mac/Luke, I am so sorry to hear this. I am offering many prayers for you and your family. I have always felt a connection with you because our families are so similar......I have 9 daughters and 1 son. God Bless you!
Praying for you and your family!! When i first came on this forum to browse subjects i saw your name so often. We often feel like we kind of know people from their posts. You are an incredible man mac.
Hi everybody, Just got this update from Luke and he asked me to let everyone know: Hi Sean, I am currently in hospice. Will be here for a few days more while my meds are all being changed. The hospice facility is just on the outskirts of town and a beautiful facility. But I have a terrible and intermittent internet connection.so I'm having trouble ringing ,texting or posting. If you wouldn't mind be so kind as to update the forum, much thanks,. God bless, Luke Let's keep up the prayers everyone! And thank you all for all of the prayers and sacrifices so far!
Yes. Very healthy praise God. Thanks for aski g Agnes Rose. I am putting you in my daily prayers for healing surgery. I cant imagine the suffering of an injured back. Just pulling a muscle can be painful.
Sean, Thank you for this. I am continuing to pray for Luke and his family also. I have been wanting to post the following and I apologize that I have not done so already. I began to do so last week and then I lost my post. My husband and I did go back to Our Lady of the Island shrine on New Year's Day. I prayed for everyone on the forum & their families including Luke, of course. Here are some photos of our visit there for everyone to enjoy. First, we walked the Stations of the Cross Trail, View attachment 9251 then the Rosary Walk which begins with a hedge shaped like a cross and then four hedges for the Our Father, 3 Hail Mary's and the Glory Be, then there are 4 plaques one for the first mystery of each set. Then, the Rosary Walk continues with the following statues from Our Lady of Fatima and ten stones along the path representing the next ten beads on the rosary and another set of plaques and so on until the path returns to these statues. It is very nicely setup. Then we walked back to our car and past the following statue, the Pieta, along with a hymn from St. Louis de Montfort. Then, we drove around to the Avenue of the Saints and walked part of that and finally, ended our visit with a trip to the Chapel. I'm very happy to share this with all of you. May God have mercy on us, and bless us: may he cause the light of his countenance to shine upon us, and may he have mercy on us. Psalm 66:2
Beautiful Carol!! Thank you Sean for the update. Praying for Luke and Josie and the family. How kind Luke is to keep us updated.
