Thank you heyshepard, That is how I would want to meet the face of God. Trying daily to be qualified, but trusting in a Gods mercy more than my own merits...for sure.
Amen. Luke I wish I had written this for it speaks from my own heart. You and your family are indelibly on my heart and in my prayers.
This is for you, Luke: Watch with me Jesus, in my loneliness: Though others say me nay, yet say Thou yes; Though others pass me by, stop Thou to bless. Yea, Thou dost stop with me this vigil night; To-night of pain, to-morrow of delight: I, Love, am Thine; Thou, Lord my God, art mine. ~ Old and New Year Ditties, by Christina Georgina Rossetti May the new year be kind to you. God be with you, Luke.
Luke, Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family. I'm continuing to pray for all of you. Last night my husband and I visited a shrine on Long Island called Our Lady of the Island it is a beautiful place to pray and reflect on Our Lord and Our Lady and the saints. They display a beautiful life size nativity every Christmas which I have took some photographs of. I also took a photo of a statue of St. Louis de Montfort for you. I think I will always think of you every time I think of this saint. May God bless you and your family always. It looks as if some children left birthday cake and cupcakes for baby Jesus. The lighting appears to simply glow around Our Lady and Our Lord. The wise men are on their way and the star is lighting their way. Finally, St. Louis de Montfort for you and prayers to him on your behalf. PS - If you are interested in reading more about the shrine here are some links with information about it. https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Location...e_Island-Manorville_Long_Island_New_York.html https://www.yelp.ca/biz/shrine-of-our-lady-of-the-island-manorville https://www.materializingthebible.com/uploads/5/5/9/5/55958661/map-3-791x1024.jpg Edited to add:
I can’t add a thing more to the prayers and well- wishes and beautiful shrine photos. You and family are very blessed, Luke. Always praying for you.
Well Mac My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your faith, trust, and abandonement are a lesson for us all. How we all live the illusion that this earthly pilgrimage will never personally end. I just pray that i can run the race like you my friend. God bless JP
My prayers continue for you and your family into this new year, Mac. May it be one filled with the Love and Grace that only our Heavenly Father can provide and the tenderness humility of our Queen.
The Apostolic Pardon for you Luke.. Have your Priest say it when it is time, either one. Two apostolic pardon prayers explain what it imparts. “Through the holy mysteries of our redemption, may Almighty God release you from all punishments in this life and in the life to come. May he open to you the gates of paradise and welcome you to everlasting joy.” “By the authority which the Apostolic See has given me, I grant you a full pardon and the remission of all your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.”
Thanks for the reminder to pray, pray, pray. It's wonderful you are wrapped in so much prayers and love Mac.
Luke, Brian and our friend Paul arrived today and we are going to offer First Friday Mass for you tomorrow. May Our Lord and Our Lady cover you with Love, Mercy, and Graces.
