Yes, it is truly shocking. Much worse has happened to ordinary Ukrainians. This is the hell that Obama and the Neocons have unleashed in Ukraine. This is the reason that Putin intervened in Crimea.

 

Yes, Communism has permeated into the world....just as our Lady had warned us while giving us/the Church the remedy and it was Russian Communism that was the source of its spread elsewhere....as our Lady had warned. And that system is still what Mr. Putin, in his aggressive style (nations now scared of obliteration or "annihilation" via the ongoing development of the most horrendous weaponry..."Satan 2".... permitted by Mr. Putin which forces against have diminished....Satan's hoped for perfect plan) for hegemony currently, wishes to extend to those of his choice and he is willing to deny energy to live to those who might stand in his way this time....esp. this time in which he has been given freedom to act with no repercussions. It is the very spirit of Communism/Marxism (dialectical materialism) that has caused the other diabolical and thus immoral "fruits" against nature itself and against human dignity....the plan from the beginning of the Red Dragon. What we have today in our own country's leadership and that leadership's personal "philosophy" was itself born out of, trained, and influenced by personal dedication to this Communist system's type of "distribution" and necessary element of a dictatorship (fundamental change).

The Woman is now in labor attempting to birth this promised new era while being driven into the desert by the Red Dragon and that desert is those souls currently consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, THE only refuge for these times; those cenacles, like the first, that await the 2nd Pentecost with its own gifts for the New Era. How much of all of the added misery that others list here, due to such diabolical atheistic materialism could have been prevented everywhere had we (the Church) simply done what we were asked of by the Mother of God. In the end....but late (oh, sooo late) it will be done and that source will be converted....for that source has been placed in the hands of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Father's will is for the whole world to recognize her as having been the remedy....Sr. Lucy's own explanation. One therefore cannot list the many fruits of this diabolical system that obviously spread everywhere including our own country without acknowledging its source...or one conveniently denies both history itself as well as God's truth given to us through His own Mother.

Would you consider the apparent Christian revival in Russia as a sign of hope?

 

I don't really see much of any evidence that the state is giving up control in this area....nor the Orthodox Church lessening in its own paranoia vs the Roman Catholics attempting to "steal" their faithful since RC priests are still not permitted to freely preach there....while there is some kind of 2 day meeting with some popular evangelical types for public consumption only...one of whom is Franklin Graham who has had some very public criticism of the Pope recently. I'm always suspect when there's been a history there of the Orthodox Church's own political shenanigans with the Communist system and vice versa, playing off one another. One would hope for this some day though....thru our Lady's auspices.

 

I am personally more impressed with the popular religious revival there as opposed to the admittedly overly nationalist official church. For example, I recently saw on the internet (maybe it was Fr. Z) an inspiring example of a beautiful church restoration by what appeared to be young students. Perhaps a revival from the grassroots is the most solid.

 

Putin: ‘We know when US will get new missile threatening Russia’s nuclear capability’

The US anti-missile defense systems being installed near Russia’s borders can be “inconspicuously” transformed into offensive weapons, Vladimir Putin has said, adding that he knows “year by year” how Washington will develop its missile program.

Talking about NATO’s ballistic missile defense systems in Eastern Europe, Russia’s president said that the Americans are now deploying their missiles at these military complexes.

“The missiles are put into a capsule used for launches of sea-based Tomahawk missiles. Now they are placing their antimissiles there, which are capable of engaging a target at a distance of up to 500 kilometers [310 miles]. But technologies are developing, and we know around what year the Americans will get a new missile, which will have a range not of 500 kilometers, but 1,000, and then even more – and from that moment they will start threatening our nuclear capability,” Putin said at a meeting with the heads of international news agencies at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday.

“We know year by year what will happen, and they know that we know,” he said, adding that Western officials “pull the wool over [their news outlets] eyes,” who in turn misinform their audiences.

The main problem, according to the Russian president, is that people do not understand how potentially dangerous the situation really is. “The world is being pulled into a completely new dimension, while [Washington] pretends that nothing’s happening,” Putin said, adding that he has been trying to reach out to his counterparts, but in vain.

“They say [the missile systems] are part of their defense capability, and are not offensive, that these systems are aimed at protecting them from aggression. It’s not true,” Putin told the journalists, adding that “strategic ballistic missile defense is part of an offensive strategic capability, [and] functions in conjunction with an aggressive missile strike system.”

The “great danger” is that the same launchers that are used for defense missiles can be used to fire Tomahawks that can be installed “in a matter of hours,” Putin noted. “How do we know what’s inside those launchers? All one needs to do is reprogram [the system], which is an absolutely inconspicuous task,” he said, adding that the governments of the nations on whose territories these NATO complexes are based would have no way of knowing if this had happened.

While pointing out that NATO keeps rejecting “concrete” proposals from Russia on cooperation, Putin said that US policy is now jeopardizing “the so-called strategic balance... thanks to which the world has been safe from large-scale wars and military conflicts.”

By unilaterally withdrawing from the 1972 Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, Washington “struck the first colossal blow at international stability,” the president said. To maintain the balance, Moscow has had to develop its own missile program in turn, to which the US agreed in the beginning of the 2000s, when Russia was in a difficult financial situation.

“I guess they hoped that the armament from the Soviet times would initially become degraded,” he said.

“Today Russia has reached significant achievements in this field. We have modernized our missile systems and successfully developed new generations. Not to mention missile defense systems,” Putin told the international news agencies, stressing that these moves are counter-measures and not“aggression,” as Moscow is so often accused of.

“We must provide security not only for ourselves. It’s important to provide strategic balance in the world, which guarantees peace on the planet... It’s the mutual threat that has provided [mankind] with global security for decades,”Putin concluded.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia is likely to deploy advanced nuclear-capable missiles in its European exclave of Kaliningrad by 2019, casting the move as a reply to a U.S.-backed missile shield, and may one day put them in Crimea too, sources close to its military predict.

That would fuel what is already the worst standoff between Russia and the West since the Cold War and put a swathe of territory in NATO members Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in the cross-hairs.

Russia would probably have deployed the missile -- called the Iskander, the Persian name for Alexander the Great -- in Kaliningrad regardless, and the targets it will cover can be struck by longer-range Russian missiles anyway.

But Russian and Western experts say the U.S.-backed shield, which Moscow says is aimed at blunting its own nuclear capabilities, gives the Kremlin the political cover it needs to justify something it was planning all along.

"The Russians plan to do a lot of things they have had in train for some time," said Steven Pifer, former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, now a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution.

"There's a long history in Moscow of saying what they're doing is in response to what you guys did, even though they planned it in advance."

Exactly...and Obama is riding shotgun right along side of Putin...doing just enough to give Putin those excuses to charge forth in his already pre-planned goals. Europe and NATO have shown absolutely no serious reply....Putin is threatened by no one. It's all in the plan. Ready set go into Europe. And Putin's now setting up shop in Nicaragua also gets no attention by his American partner in crime. How people can look at the facts and still accuse a feckless opposition only shows more of that suicidal spirit embedded now in nations and their useless leaders. As they say, "whistling past the grave yard"!

You seem to forget that it was Obama and the Neocons who brought the war to Putin's doorstep via the violent Maidan Coup in Ukraine. Obama also orchestrated the sanctions on Russia which are 100% unjust and an act of war in and of themselves.

Also, Steven Pifer is a certified Neocon warmonger and liar.

Any actions Putin takes in response to the offensive missile systems in Poland and Romania will be entirely reactionary and entirely justified.

The only reason we are in a new Cold War and a new Missile Crisis is because of the warmongering of Neocons in both the Bush and Obama Adminsistrations. These Neocons have more innocent Christian blood on their hands in Ukraine and Syria than did the ancient Roman persecutions.

 

I look at the current facts which are no longer hidden....and I measure what piddly movements that changed nothing but, as I said, allowed Putin's excuse for invasion as far as he could. Obama's Alinsky methods in work here as well....create the chaos and then take advantage for one's partner in crime's ultimate goal. The big picture is now what is taking place BECAUSE of the permissions and excuses offered to Putin on a silver platter with nothing gained for our terrified allies in that threatened region. I will agree though that the noses on our faces are difficult to see unless one is aided by the mirror of current, on the ground, real news. And if a reporter is labeled as a "war monger" these days it's because he reports real "war mongering" taking place....and that no longer covertly but overtly. But then there is that alternate universe that so many seem to be living in today. Can't wait for the planned "teleporting" to Mars by that saintly leader who just couldn't have any vile intentions!!

Russia is "striving against Humanity?" Well, I can now scratch "Luz de Maria" off my list of potential prophets after he/she calls it wrong on Russia. Putin's Russia is not striving against Humanity. He could be right. The way things are going, the world will need someone to slow Obama, Clinton and whoever is pulling their strings or lining their pockets.

 

The fact is though that China already owns Obama (and us) literally....and so does Putin for his own reasons.

Obama and Putin are not in cahoots. China doesn't own Obama and it doesn't own the US. Sure, China holds plenty of US debt but that debt is in US dollars and the US owns the printing press.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, the US was given almost a clear field to bring Russia into the fold along with most if not all of its satellite states. That opportunity was wasted, giving more than a little credence to the conspiracy theories about a small elite that really holds the power in both of America's major political parties. Look elsewhere than China or Russia for the culprits.

We are all in trouble if China and Russia do actually forge an alliance and the power brokers in America along with some of their allies will have played their part.

Wow! Now that would have been a miracle. Just snap our fingers and everything in the geopolitical realm falls nicely in place.

China is collecting gold like never before. It is likely that they plan to then pay off global debt and then set the terms for what currency will be used and just how much it will be worth....and have total control. Russia will probably learn the hard way via such an alliance....and that just may be the future wake up call for conversion.
