The name of the book is Day of Wrath: The Hand of God Upon An Empire. The revelations were made to an Armenian Jew, one Zachary, who was later baptized a Catholic. This book, published in the early 1850s, contains revelations (made to Zachary in the 1840s) concerning the precise dimensions of the communist empire, Russia and China and their satellites. It says that there would be the détente; that an agreement would be reached between the capitalist West and the Marxist East.

Then, says the prophecy, the communists would overcome the West, by firing their missiles— they would fire their missiles — and the word “missiles” was used in the 1840s! They would fire their missiles on the coasts of North America — from the direction of Russia and China — and the Western world would be brought into bondage, after which “the firstborn of hell will rule the world.”

 

This alleged quote from Lucy lacks a citation and conflicts with other statements made by her on the Consecration. Also, how is it that you get to pick and choose which quotes by Lucy are genuine? I mean, if the quotes from Lucy stating that the Consecration was done are not valid, then no quote attributed to her is valid. The logic of the Fatima conspiracy theorists is self-defeating.

 

But this is merely an unapproved private revelation consisting of what is at best conditional prophecy subject to change.

And something else must be taken into consideration when discussing all the prophecies describing an attack by Russia on the West. One must factor in that the spiritual matrix was changed in 1984. Perhaps an attack from the East will still come, but the reasons for this attack are not known, especially considering that the spiritual matrix was changed in 1984. It may very well be that the West instigates the attack, and God permits it as a form of chastisement on a fallen-away West.

As reported two weeks ago, following a stunning announcement by the head of Ukraine's central bank, Valeriya Gontareva, on primetime TV we learned that (virtually) all of Ukraine's gold was gone, or - in the parlance of Jon Corzine - had "vaporized."

And as we also predicted two weeks ago, it was only a matter of time before Ukraine's people - the vast majority of whom are innocent pawns in a vast game of realpolitik between the west and east - finally got angry and demanded some answers, if not heads. That time came earlier today when as Interfax.ua reported "a Kyiv-based court has instructed Kyiv prosecutors to bring an action against National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Governor Valeriya Gontareva on charges of abuse of power or misuse of office to obtain illegal profit, the Vesti newspaper reported on Tuesday."



According to Interfax, "This decision was taken by Kyiv's Pechersk district court on December 1 after it had examined case No. 757/33660/14. It ordered the Kyiv prosecutor's office to launch an investigation and include it in the register of pre-trial investigations," the newspaper reported.

Gontareva is charged with abuse of power or misuse of office under Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The plaintiff is lawyer Rostyslav Kravets, the newspaper said. He confirmed this information in his post on Facebook, saying that the decision was taken by the court at the third attempt, and in November 2014, the prosecutors declined to bring an action to meet his claim.

The charges against the chief banker involve foreign currency interventions by the Central Bank in August 2014: On August 5 the NBU bought U.S. dollars on the interbank forex market for UAH 11.93 per U.S. dollar and sold them for UAH 12.26 per U.S. dollar. During the same week, on August 8, it traded in foreign currency at a higher rate: UAH 12.45-12.6 per U.S. dollar. First it sold $69 million on the interbank forex market at a lower rate, and some days later it bought $35 million at a more favorable price.

As a result of these transactions, the NBU lost 19 kopecks per U.S. dollar, Kravets said.

Kravets claims that by acting so, Gontareva "has intentionally committed an extremely unfavorable transaction for the gold and forex reserves of Ukraine, despite the fact that under Ukraine's Constitution it is the Central Bank that is in charge of maintaining the country's gold reserves."

That, and of course, there is also that as a result of central bank "transactions" the Ukraine central bank is now essentially gold-free, which per Gontareva's recent appearance, has just 1% of total reserves in the form of the yellow metal.

And while it remains to be seen if this will be the spark that lights the counter-revolution (after all it took Egypt not less than a year to turn against the puppet regime dumped upon it by the CIA and the US State Department) others are already sensing which way the wind is blowing. As Bloomberg reported moments ago, another central banker, Olena Shcherbakova who is head of the monetary policy department at the Ukrainian central bank, said she is resigning. When reaced by phone she stated that she "has the right to step down," without giving reason for decision.

She sure does, although we doubt even a former Goldman Sachs partner would be willing to replace her, as the realization among the Ukraine people finally seeps through that they were thoroughly betrayed by the same people who promised they would fix the country following the February presidential coup.

He could have added a fourth bullet point. That being to get others in the world to think they have changed, because of the outward appearance they would display of sucking up to the Orthodox leaders who have lost their sense of reality.

 

In November 1987, Gorbachev was still a believer in communism. Like almost everyone else in the world, he foresaw no possibility of the collapse of the Soviet empire. But over the next few years he saw the miracle of its collapse. And it eventually led him to become a Christian. Unfortunately, there are some (yes, even on this forum ) who saw no miracle but instead an amazing conspiracy.....

 

Thats right David ... The evil empire is gone.

How The Ukrainian Government Is Giving Away Citizenships So Foreigners Can Run The Country

I hadn’t written a single piece on the U.S.-Ukraine-Russia quagmire for the entirety of 2014, until Monday when I published: Tensions Between the U.S. and Russia Are Worse Than You Realize – Remarks by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Now I can hardly think of anything else.

The reason the geopolitical hot zone has so captured my attention is because I think we are much closer to a serious escalation than most people want to admit. I hope I’m wrong, but when I take a step back and look at what is being said and done under the surface, an incredibly dangerous tinderbox is now firmly in place and ready to be lit. We know from history that relatively minor catalysts can lead to unimaginable horrors. I fear the stage is set for some real nastiness, and hope cooler heads can prevail on both sides.

Claims that the new government in Ukraine is nothing more than a Western puppet Parliament have been swirling around consistently since February. Nevertheless, I think it’s very significant that the takeover is now overt, undeniable and completely out in the open. Nothing proves this fact more clearly than the recent and sudden granting of citizenship to three foreigners so that they can take top posts in the government.

At the top of the list is American, Natalie Jaresko, who runs private equity fund Horizon Capital. She will now be Ukraine’s Finance Minister, and I highly doubt she will be forced to pay the IRS Expatriation Tax (one set of laws for the rich and powerful, another set of laws for the peasants). For Economy Minister, a Lithuanian investment banker, Aivaras Abromavicius, will take the reigns. Health Minister will be Alexander Kvitashvili of Georgia.





The Wall Street Journal reports:



Ukraine’s parliament appointed a new, pro-Western government that includes a U.S.-born finance minister to take on the job of staving off financial collapse, overhauling the shrinking economy and ending the armed conflict in the country’s east.



The new cabinet includes Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko, the chief executive of a private-equity fund and a former U.S. diplomat, as well as two other nonnatives: Economy Minister Aivaras Abromavicius, a former investment banker from Lithuania; and Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili, who held a similar post in Georgia.



Ukraine is dependent on the International Monetary Fund for financing, and officials and analysts say it will need more than the current $17-billion program from the lender.



Two senior EU officials said Tuesday that the IMF has in recent days shared a rough estimate of $15 billion in financing needs for Ukraine through the first quarter of 2016, although that could be revised as fund officials negotiate with the new government.



Shortly before the voting in Kiev, President Poroshenko signed a decree granting Ukrainian citizenship to the three foreign-born candidates. He said the dire economic situation meant Ukraine had to look for people outside the country with experience of dealing with “systemic crises.”



Valeriy Voshchevskiy, deputy prime minister for infrastructure and ecology, said he wanted to privatize state holdings such as the railway and road-building monopolies.

This is where American financial oligarchs will get paid. It’s all about looting at the end of the day, as always.



Some analysts praised the inclusion of outsiders in the government as a way to tap foreign experience, insulate against corruption and help push through unpopular economic overhauls. But opposition lawmakers slammed the decision.



“We don’t understand why from 300 coalition members and 40 million people [in the country], 10 minister candidates couldn’t be found who’d be Ukrainian citizens or at least ethnic Ukrainians,” said Yuriy Boiko, head of the Opposition Bloc and a former energy minister.



In a sign of early discontent, some lawmakers from the ruling coalition questioned the creation of a new Information Ministry, dubbed the “Ministry of Truth” by some journalists amid concerns that it could create another expensive layer of bureaucrats.



The newly appointed minister said earlier that it will be needed to counter Russian propaganda.

I don’t know much, but I know that people don’t like being ruled by foreigners. Ever.

Bearing that in mind, a bill known as H.Res.758 was recently introduced in the U.S. Congress. Here’s the full title: H.Res.758 – Strongly condemning the actions of the Russian Federation, under President Vladimir Putin, which has carried out a policy of aggression against neighboring countries aimed at political and economic domination.

This isn’t well intentioned diplomacy, these are demands. The last bullet point is particularly laughable. The U.S. government admonishes Russia for interfering in Ukraine’s internal affairs (a nation directly on its border), when Ukraine just granted an American private equity manager citizenship so that she can be Finance Minister. The hypocrisy will not be lost on Putin, or anyone else for that matter.

The danger of this bill was highlighted by former U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich. Here are some excerpts via TruthDig:



U.S.-Russia relations have deteriorated severely in the past decade and they are about to get worse, if the House passes H. Res. 758.



NATO encirclement, the U.S.-backed coup in Ukraine, an attempt to use an agreement with the European Union to bring NATO into Ukraine at the Russian border, a U.S. nuclear first-strike policy, are all policies which attempt to substitute force for diplomacy.



The Western press begins its narrative on the Crimea situation with the annexation, but completely ignores the provocations by the West and other causal factors which resulted in the annexation. This distortion of reality is artificially creating an hysteria about Russian aggressiveness, another distortion which could pose an exceptionally dangerous situation for the world, if acted upon by other nations. The U.S. Congress is responding to the distortions, not to the reality.



Tensions between Russia and the U.S. are being fueled every day by players who would benefit financially from a resumption of the Cold War which, from 1948 to 1991 cost U.S. taxpayers $20 TRILLION dollars (in 2014 dollars), an amount exceeding our $18 trillion National Debt.

Based on all I have read and observed, I’d have to say I generally agree with the conclusions of Mr. Kucinich.

Finally, I want to end the post with some very important words from Eurasia Group President Ian Bremmer. They were published in the article, Crumbling Oil Makes Putin More Dangerous:

Lavrov also describes the negative impact that this behavior has had on the Russian psyche generally. He expresses dismay that the U.S. status quo sees the world as unipolar, and attempts to tackle every problem from the perspective that might is right. In no uncertain terms, Lavrov makes it clear that Russia will not stand for this. I don’t think the Russians are bluffing, so this is a very dangerous situation.

The U.S. establishment is used to bullying around anyone it wants and getting its way. This will not happen with Putin. It appears that the U.S. is attempting to put so much pressure on Putin that he does something reckless and loses all support on the world stage. I can’t stress enough how important, and dangerous, the current situation is, as Putin is"

The fight occurred after the majority of people's deputies supported the draft resolution on the appointment of the number of (foreign) members of parliamentary committees.

After the vote, the People's Deputy Vladimir Parasyuk began requiring word in explanation of vote, but the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman refused it...

Still think the 1984 consecration was accepted? This is the triumph? in a marvelous way?

 

I believe the 1984 Consecration was accepted and that this led to the collapse of the atheistic Soviet empire. Was that Consecration exactly what Our Lady wanted? Probably not, but God knows all about human frailties but He still loves us and recognises our attempts to do His Will. Has the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary happened? Probably not but it is likely to be in the process of being accomplished. We really should not pretend we can know the mind of God.

And on the topic of atheistic communism, I think those who are worried about Russia currently would do better to pay more attention to China which, behind that 'capitalistic' economy, is a savage persecutor of religion with a prison camp system quite on a par with the Soviet gulags of the last century.

 

My reading is that there is a full consecration awaiting when all bishops will join in union with the Holy Father (this will be necessary as the world will be on be verge of obliteration).

But heaven did grace tbe 1984 consecration hence the fall of communism in Russia.

 

The 1984 Consecration was accepted because the Prefect of the Congregration for the Docrtine of the Faith via his Secretary then Archbishop Bertone has said it was done, citing Sister Lucia's own words. Sister Lucia has also stated that the 1984 Consecration prevented a nuclear war with Russia:

"A re-transcription of a largely unknown conversation that Fatima seer Lucia dos Santos had with a visiting cardinal in 1993 confirms a dramatic statement she made that a consecration of the world by John Paul II in 1984 prevented a nuclear war.

On October 11, 1993, Lucia, now a nun in Coimbra, Portugal, made the remarkable though all but unknown assertion that "the Consecration of 1984 [during which Pope John Paul II consecrated the world to the Immaculate Heart as requested at Fatima] prevented an atomic war that would have occurred in 1985 [our italics]."

The remarks, made to a contingent headed by Cardinal Ricardo Vidal of the Philippines, are now leading to speculation that such a war was what was indicated by the famous third secret -- which was revealed by the Vatican last June and which contained a vision of "an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand."

A nuclear warhead would come with flames flashing and an all-out war would indeed seem to "set the world on fire."

Moreover, the indicated time period -- 1984-1985 -- was when tensions were at a peak between Soviet hardliners such as Yuri Andropov and Konstantin Chernenko and the Reagan Administration -- which had beefed up the military, was ready to install a missile defense, and had described the Soviet Union as an "evil empire."

In my opinion, the Fatima conspiracy theorists have made a number of serious mistakes in their argument:

1. Refusing to accept the official statements of legitimate Church authorities, with a strange fixation on Cardinal Bertone.

2. Believing that the Consecration was some sort of instant magic that would instantly and immediately conform Russia to an image of their making. The mistake here is thinking that the Consecration of Russia would instantly transform Russia. This is not how Consecrations work. The Catholic Encyclopedia defines Consecration as:

"an act by which a thing is separated from a common and profane to a sacred use, or by which a person or thing is dedicated to the service and worship of God by prayers, rites, and ceremonies."

Consecration is not the same event as Conversion and Consecration cannot force a Conversion. Think of a Consecration as the Church expending spiritual treasure and opening up the opportunity for a conversion: one which is still subject to the free will of the participants.

Conversion is not an instant event: sometimes it can be but for most of us it is a daily struggle that may take a lifetime. The same could be said for Russia or any nation that is struggling to convert. And this raises an interesting point, one which I believe the Fatima conspiracy theorists have confused: what did our Lady of Fatima come to convert Russia from? Was it their Orthodoxy? Or was it to convert Russia from Atheism. I think it was the latter and there can be no doubt that Russia today has most definitly been converted from State-sponsored and State-imposed Atheism. To imply, as the Fatima conspiracy theorists do, that Our Lady came to convert Russia from Orthodoxy is rather strange. For starters, I dont' think, technically and theologically speaking, one "converts" from Orthodoxy. The Orthodox are in a state of schism not heresy nor apostasy. Their Sacraments are still valid. They are in need of full communion not conversion. Atheists on the other hand, are in need of conversion. Atheists with nuclear weapons are never a good thing: that's why our Lady came to ask for the coversion of Russia from Atheism. She was successful.

3. Believing that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart (which they equate with the Era of Peace) must by necessity mean a political or earthly peace. This is a mistake because Our Lady never stated just what exactly was meant by the phrase "period of peace." This could be a strictly spiritual peace or it could indeed be some form of an earthly peace. We just don't know and only the Church is capable of interpreting it.

The Fatima conspriacy theorists do not see Russia doing the bidding of the West, they do not see what they assume must be some sort of worldwide, supernatural peace, they do not see the full communion of the Orthodox with the Catholic Church, and so they have decided for themselves that the Church authorities cannot be trusted and that the Consecration of Russia was therefore not done. This is a fallacious way of reasoning and dangerous also because it allows for disobedience to legitimate Church authorities.

 

This is what Catholic prophecy has indicated as well. One would have to be a monk completly isolated from the the world to even think that what we have today in the world is the peace that Our Lady of Fatima foretold. I'm with Lucia, it will come, but "it will be late". Not one pope, including JPII, has even suggested that the consecration was done as Our Lady of Fatima suggested, only one high ranking Cardinal, who when sent to discuss Fatima, (along with 2 other priests at the time whom Father (now Cardinal)Bertone did not allow to enter her room to speak with her), has stated that the 1984 consecration to the world sufficed.
