The legend sounds very like an echo of the Fall, with Pandora an equivalent of Eve. Perhaps Eden remained in the back of the minds of even the pagan Greeks.
It is said that there are two mistakes we can make with regards to the devil ; one is to not believe in him at all and the other extreme is to take too much of an interest. An example of taking too much of an interest are the Black Books , or Grimoire that are kept in a special access part of the Vatican Library available only to scholars with accredation and a very good reason for opening them. These Grimoires are basically black magic spell and ritual books that Rome acquired through things like the arrest and trials of real witches down the centuries. Personally I think they should have been burnt, rumour has it that some of them are very powerful indeed and a few are even said to bound in human skin. But they would be a very good example of things better not looked into. I have heard of the origins of two or three famous ones and their history is a horror picture.
Too much curiosity in this area is a danger for sure. But now that the devil's so in your face and no longer hiding it does help to know the modus operandi. That's why Frs Ripperger and Reehill and Rossetti et al are so appreciated.
I agree, that this is likely a secret of the King as you say and that this does not concern us. However, God did open it up for us a bit. Because the war is between the seed of the Woman and the serpent. It states in Genesis 6:4 that the nephilim did survive the flood. This is confirmed in Numbers 13:33, when the Hebrews spied out the Desert of Zin they saw the Nephilim there. Also, in things like Greek mythology which you brought up, men and "gods" did intermix. It gives a whole new possibility to what Jesus meant when he called the pharisees a den of vipers and certain people who claim to be Jews but are not, and are the synagogue of Satan. Also we know that bloodlines matter, as two of the Gospels contain that of Jesus. I also don't know if what I touched upon is gnosticism, it could very well be, I really don't know much about gnosticism. I am under the impression that gnosticism is the idea that the spiritual is good and that creation is evil.
It appears that South Korea is now considering sending military aid to Ukraine to combat the Putinist/Communist invasion... This conflict is gaining geographic complexity. God help us! South Korea mulls aiding Ukraine amid reports North Korea to assist Russia Seoul signals its most proactive position towards arming Ukraine to date South Korea is considering directly supplying weapons to Ukraine as evidence increases that North Korean soldiers are preparing to assist Russia in its war against Ukraine. Yes. Jesus didn't waste words and He told us that we can't be a slave to both God and money. https://forward.com/fast-forward/66...ump-campaign-making-good-on-reported-promise/ 1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evils; it is through this craving that many have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs. https://www.openbible.info/topics/love_of_money
That's a big if. Who was it said that a lie travels half way around the world before the truth gets its pants on? Colonel MacGregor's admiration for Oliver Cromwell causes me to have reservations about him but he explains that N. Koreans in Ukraine story in the first few minutes of dis discussion: I believe that something otherworldly happened in Garabandal. I also believe that Conchita is honest but I have reservations that it was Our Lady who appeared there. If, however, Communism does come again, it won't have happened in a vacuum. Clearing the Holy Land of Christians is unlikely to find favour with God. More civilians are killed by the Israelis in an afternoon than have been killed in two years of the Russian/Ukrainian war. That the Russians or Chinese are not currently actively involved in genocide doesn't make them good but it sure makes them appear less evil than the sanctimonious hypocrites pointing the finger at them.
I find the possible prophetic fulfillment of Garabandal's prediction about a global communist revival in the alliance between Putin's Russia and the North Korean dictator quite striking. However, something complementary that could emerge in the coming years might be an alliance between global communism and radical Islamism. We saw a partial glimpse of this recently when news broke that Russia plans to remove the Taliban from its own list of terrorist groups. This makes me wonder what the reaction will be from part of Latin America's left, which is allied with Putin and claims to be fighting for women's rights. After all, we're talking about a terrorist group whose lesser atrocities include banning women from studying. Would this ban extend to any female communist militants allied with Putin who might enter one of these territories? There's also a looming question about Patriarch Kirill’s future support of the Russian government and the "special operation" in Ukraine. Will he feel any discomfort seeing his president align with one of the last remnants of 1917 communism, which was Satan's primary tool in nearly destroying the apostolic succession of his Church in the 20th century? Given his silence on the persecution of Christians by the anti-Christian Chinese communist regime, I think it’s unlikely. Even so, he often issues harsh critiques about the West's moral degeneration in promoting abortion, sodomy, and so on. Yet I wonder if he will see a problem with Putin's refusal to heed the Russian Orthodox Church's appeal for a total abortion ban in October last year. Will he take any decisive action, risking his own position, or will he continue pointing fingers at the West’s moral decay solely as a tool of ideological influence for Mother Russia?
As reported by the Russia Today channel, Russia and North Korea signed a historic Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty in June of this year, which includes mutual military assistance in case either country faces an armed invasion. This puts Russia ahead of China on the front line to defend North Korea in the event of a war with its sister nation. https://www.rt.com/news/606293-north-korean-legitimate-target/ We can accuse the North Korean dictator of many things, but at least he seems to keep his word. After all, if we consider the idea that Ukraine is an integral part of Russia, then he only came to the aid of his friend who needed help first.
Thanks for posting this, it clears up the purpose/task of NK troops in Russia, if they are in Russia.
I have noticed this possible trend of Islam seemingly allying with communism as well. I do not know if it is a new thing, but I suspect it is more a matter of geography and political convenience/reaction. There is also evidence contrary to this trend such as the Uyghurs in China being suppressed, which is why I never mentioned it before.
You might be right about the existence of a convenience-based alliance between them; I believe we can consider this alliance within a broader spectrum of political and economic areas. For example, this Wednesday, a joint statement by BRICS countries was released condemning Israel's atrocities against the Palestinian people, but without a single direct mention of the terrorist group Hamas or Putin's atrocities in Ukraine. I wonder to what extent it is possible for a movement of non-aligned countries, without an ideological bias, to emerge that can truly condemn the atrocities on both sides in the field of global geopolitics. https://www.deccanherald.com/world/...za-denounces-israel-for-mass-killings-3245712
The Afghans certainly cannot be accused of being proto-communists, given their expulsion of the USSR. I think we must reconsider communism. China is not really a communist country anymore. It is a wicked, atheistic and authoritarian entity. Russia is likewise authoritarian and Putin is definitely no moral paragon, but his regime is not communist. Communism now is thriving in the West. It is following the Gramsci mode, with the communists (who have ensured the word is never applied to themselves, their supporters or their methods) having 'marched through the institutions', including the Catholic Church, the mass-media, the entertainment industry and the educational system. They have also infiltrated many corporations and medical associations. Now, we find the dominant voices in all these institutions 'coincidentally' in lock-step and singing from the same satanic hymn-sheet, preaching the latest communist mantras of climate change; sacramental abortion; the adulation of perversion and sexual corruption of everyone, with no lower age limit; equal social and economic outcomes (DEI); and a claim that racism is systemic and universal. These communist dogmas, known by the euphemism of 'liberal', 'progressive' or 'social democracy' are accompanied by the most totalitarian mindset ever experienced. Unlike the old communists, they seek to destroy the soul as well as the body. I read a report yesterday of a man allegedly praying near a baby-slaughter plant in London who was interrogated by police who demanded to know the intentions of his alleged prayers. He was then arrested. Orwell would not have believed it. This is Communism, the worst kind, and it is most certainly back. But it is not in Russia or China or even North Korea...it is right here in the formerly free West.
Agreed on all points. I don't think communism is an appropriate word, also I have heard that wherever communism comes in, it is never truly communism. The same with capitalism. Right and left are just constructs. What does make more sense to me is a gradient between the Mind of Christ and the reprobate mind. I also think we are dealing with more than just surface level communism vs. capitalism. One thing which is bizarre is that people who get to the top often crave power and they often get there by occult practices. They might not start off this way, but eventually get there. Hitler is a great example of this, and there is a lot of weird stuff in this direction, as you already know. If you ever watch the channel "Expedition Bible" on youtube, you will notice some weird stuff after a while. Germany had been seemingly obsessed with investigating and collecting pagan antiquities and bringing them back to Germany for a couple centuries. I believe other nations in Europe are similar, but Germany appears to have been at the forefront leading up to WWII. Then all the weird scientists from Germany went to the US and they are possibly collecting artifacts. IE, the tomb of Gilgamesh. Even Hillary Clinton had emails concerning the tomb of Gilgamesh. The invasion of Iraq is highly suspicious.
Both sides are communist in the sense of persecuting the Catholic Church. Revelation 17 describes a mysterious city called Babylon the Great, a label given to it for playing a fundamental role in the corruption of the world's morals and in the persecution of God's people, much like the extinct Babylonian civilization, which is the mother of false religions on Earth. In the same way, Israel, which was a force diametrically opposed to Babylon, despite the corruption of its people, became synonymous with the remnant Church on Earth, which is present in all four corners of the world. It seems that the figurative language of "communism," in a more or less literal and symbolic sense, is more fitting for the major nations in the global geopolitical arena, because the Babylonian civilization was buried so many centuries ago that it remains almost outside the common understanding of Christians regarding what constitutes a civilization that is an enemy of God. Meanwhile, the persecution by communism lasted less than a century ago and was a central theme of the message of Fatima, which, like Noah's preaching, was a call to repentance made to a wicked generation.
I don't know if this has any prophetic significance, but according to tradition, Gilgamesh was buried in the Euphrates River, the same region described in the Book of Revelation as the prison of the four angels who are reserved for the day and the hour when they will kill a third of mankind.
I really do not know, it could be. My understanding is, correct me if I am wrong, but the archeologist who discovered the tomb of Gilgamesh in 2003 only did so because the Euphrates was drying up. The drying up of the Euphrates is mentioned in Revelation 16:12. I also don't know if this drying up is related to Revelation 16:12. I am under the impression that the Euphrates is getting weaker with each passing year. https://www.discovermagazine.com/planet-earth/is-the-euphrates-river-drying-up
It seems to me that the Gramscist persecution of the Church is by far the most effective. The Chinese, Russians and Muslims are creating martyrs, while the West sees the Church itself enthusiastically cooperating with its own corruption and destruction. The Chinese have Cardinal Zen...we have 'Touchy' Fernandez.
I've been listening over the last few days to Gavin Ashenden. Filled with wisdom and humility. His journey to the true Catholic faith ( not synodal) is inspiring. It was the Blessed Mother. Of course.
