Yes, I always wonder why people question this one - even if the body of Father Luis Andreu was not incorrupt when they disturbed him, it does not mean it won't be incorrupt after the Miracle - one has nothing to do with the other... Lazarus was dead for 4 days and his body was not incorrupt and that did not mean anything...

Our Blessed Mother said in Garabandal on October 18th, 1961,
"We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. "
In 1945 Jesus told Lucia, the seer of Fatima, "The sacrifice and penance I now seek and require is the fulfillment of your state in life and the observance of my laws." Whatever your state in life may be you can sanctify all your daily actions if upon arising you recite sincerely the morning offering prayer. Through the "Morning Offering of Reparation" every act you do becomes a sacrifice. The word "sacrifice" means to make "holy." Once you have made your morning offering you make "holy" every act you do throughout the day. Whatever trial God permits to pass your way during the day becomes a penance — whether it be work, bad weather, rebellious children, sickness in the family, tight economic conditions or misunderstandings by relatives or friends. All these sacrifices and penances obtain graces the Blessed Virgin needs for the conversion of sinners.
Padre Pio said it best, "If you knew the value of suffering, you wouldn't give it up." Use this Morning Offering Prayer to start your day !

CONCHITA'S ADVICE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MESSAGES:
In 1965, at only 16 years of age(!), Conchita wrote to a Jesuit priest, Fr. Alba, "But, if we heed the Message, believing in the apparitions is of no importance."[Laffineur-Noseda, Fr. Materne and le Pelletier, M.T., Star On The Mountain (trans. by Service De Traduction Champlain, ENR). Lindenhurst, NY: Our Lady Of Mount Carmel De Garabandal, Inc., 1992, p. 118]. Her other comment was , "To guess at dates regarding the [prophesied] Miracle shows a lack of faith in the Blessed Virgin."[Ibid., p. 143]. Indeed, the energies expended on this are so much better spent on living the Message!

In the same letter, Conchita emphasised a point that bears similar reflexion: "The Blessed Virgin affirmed here what she did at Lourdes and Fátima and not a single new thing."[François, Robert, op. cit., p. 57]. The Message remains the same. We are asked only to believe - to focus on living the Message - not to seek more spiritual fireworks (as if these three well-documented apparitions were not enough already!) or try to predict the fulfillment of God's plan.

BLESSED MADRE MARAVILLAS OF JESUS, O.C.D.

BLESSED MADRE MARAVILLAS OF JESUS, O.C.D. (1891-1974) St. Maria Maravillas of Jesus This extraordinary Carmelite nun, who was beatified in 1998, less than 25 years after she died, founded the "Association of St. Teresa," with the purpose of restoring the rule of life of the original Constitutions of 1581, rigorously established by Teresa of Avila one year before her own death. More than one hundred Carmelite Convents belong to this Association of Discalced Carmelites, approved by Rome in 1973. The highest Church authorities all agreed to celebrate in Madre Maravillas the fact that she had, without any hesitation, 'received' the Vatican II ecumenical Council, its teachings but also, on the precise level of "consecrated life," the necessary adaptations to the new circumstances and conditions of our time. Pope John Paul II beatified her on May 19, 1998. Mother Maravillas "knew" that Garabandal was authentic. She even clearly shared her conviction with her spiritual daughters, assuring them that "the phenomena occurring at San Sebastian de Garabandal come from God!" She was beatified on May 19, 1998 by Pope John Paul II http://ocarm.org/en/content/liturgy/st-maria-maravillas-jesus-virgin-m She was beatified on May 19, 1998 by Pope John Paul II and was canonized by Pope John Paul II in Madrid 2003.

St. Maravillas warned Bishop Puchol Montis on April 25, 1967(one of the former Bishops of Santander ) that he would have a sudden death, which did happen as a result of an automobile accident on May 8,1967. Bishop Montis seems to have opposed the events of Garabandal irresponsibly in a manner unworthy of his office.

    THE BLESSED MOTHER ON OBEDIENCE
Obedience The virtue of obedience is one of the greatest indicators for determining the authenticity of alleged apparitions. According to the Saints, it is the only virtue the devil cannot imitate (who, by his nature, is disobedient), and is therefore the hallmark of authentic apparitions. To be obedient, says Venerable Mary of Agreda, is to cancel the sin of Lucifer, who knew what to do and chose not to do it. The Franciscan school teaches, in the religious state, the vow of obedience is the greatest of the three vows (poverty, chastity, obedience). In her diary, Jesus tells Saints Faustina that obedience merits more grace than any other external work. The Saint even goes so far as to say that God, in a sense, bends His will to that of the direction of His clergy; "Jesus says; 'Obedience. I have come to do My Father’s will. I obeyed my Parents, I obeyed My tormentors and now I obey the Priests' ...I understood that our efforts, no matter how great, are not pleasing to God if they do not bear the seal of obedience....Obeying our superiors, we obey God. It makes no difference whether it is an angel or a man who, acting in God’s stead, gives me orders; I must always obey." -(diary of Saint Faustina)

    In the apparitions of Garabandal the examples of obedience are so numerous and varying, that one can say that it permeated from all facets of the girls' lives. Most notably, the Blessed Virgin instructed the children on the importance of obedience, especially to the Bishop. In fact, She told the children to obey the Bishop even before her; "She taught us to obey the Bishop before her." (Interview with Conchita, 1972). What is most striking, is even the Blessed Virgin Herself, in the apparitions, obeyed the commands of the bishop, as detailed in the account below;

Conchita, interview, 1973: "At the beginning, we used to go into the Church (editor's note; The Blessed Virgin often led the girls into a local church, where She would recite the Rosary together with them). But then the people, because they wanted to be first when we extended our arms, would make a big disturbance. So the bishop said we could not go into the church anymore. Then the Virgin, from the time the bishop said not to go into the church, never would let us in there again." Conchita recounts that, from that day forward, the Blessed Virgin no longer entered the Church, but instead remained outside.

The children learned from the example of the Virgin, and followed it themselves. The girls were not only obedient and docile to the bishops, but also to their parents, interrogations by doctors, physical exams, psychological tests, criticisms and slander, and so forth. They went along with everything imposed on them. Joseph Pelletier notes; "This simple unquestioning obedience to the commission manifested by the girls on this occasion is typical of their attitude and conduct toward the Church and clergy all during the apparitions" (jp53) In 1965, in response to those eager to spread the message of Garabandal, Conchita writes; "This is agreeable to the Blessed Virgin. She is very pleased to have us work to spread the message. That is what She wants. But she wants us to obey the Church, for in this way we will give greater glory to God. She will provide time for the message to be spread with the permission of the Church." Six years later, Conchita expresses similar sentiments; "Reflect on this. If something is God's work, He will see that it triumphs in the best way over all obstacles. It is God who does everything. Sometimes He acts through us, but He can also bypass us to perform great miracles and prodigies. What we should do is sacrifice ourselves, be faithful in prayer and in the recitation of the Holy Rosary, and visit the Blessed Sacrament often." (jp181)

The four Popes after Pope John XXIII Quote

The four Popes after Pope John XXIII rather than three… This is rather startling news to those who had read only about “three more Popes…” Actually this was reported in a book in the German Language book (The Finger of God ) published in 1993, but it seems that most followers of the Garabandal drama were not aware of this and apparently are still unaware of this. Conchita said at the time of the death of Pope John XXIII that Our Lady had told her that there would be three more Popes and then would come the end of the times.
Mr. Albrecht Weber, the author of the book in German mentioned above, had become involved in Garabandal in 1963 and became friendly with Conchita. On November 14, 1965, the day after the last apparition of Our Lady in Garabandal, Mr. Weber interviewed Conchita at her home in the presence of her mother. There was also present with Mr. Weber an interpreter. During that interview, it came out that when Conchita had spoken, on the very day that Pope John XXIII died, of “Three more Popes and then would come the end of the times,” her mother had asked her several questions.
In response to one of her mother’s questions, Conchita responded that Our Lady had actually said that there would be four more Popes but that She was not counting one of them. When Conchita’s mother heard that she strictly forbade Conchita to repeat that again as her mother feared there would be erroneous interpretations and much gossip. People might wrongly believe that one of the Popes might be false or bad, etc. During that conversation with her mother, Conchita also said that Our Lady had told her that one of the Popes would have a very short reign.

  11. I've come across a recent video which features mainly Amalia Mazón, Mary Loli's (younger) sister, and also Conchita's aunt Maximina, and other people, with quite interesting memories and comments. Regrettably it's in Spanish with no translation, but it is good and very recent -after Mary Loli's passing, which is mentioned at some point. It is worth watching. For those who don't understand Spanish it has a lot of interesting footage and pictures.
There is a piece on Padre Pio, reportedly appearing to children not long ago, and saying that he will always be found in the Calleja and Los Pinos.
