Oh, I will pray tonight for you to get better. My brother has Asthma, it can be a scary thing when those bronchial tubes close! Thank God you are ok. Get some rest now, in Mary's arms.
At the Feet of May today and at mass tonight. I'm sorry to hear this A lady in work has asthma and I see how she suffered ;as did St Bernadette.
thank you every one; the plan is to get better; only they found something on my chest ex-ray; they did a ct scan and don't have the results yet... thanks again... Linda
Hi everyone, well they found that the upper lobe of my right lung had collapsed, so they attempted to do a bronchoscopy to find out why, that ended in disaster, the upper lobe was found to be defective and the doctor could not get to it, it appears that the bronchi normally go in specific directions. My bronchi goes up instead of to the side so this prevented the doctor from getting a good look at it. My lungs are so sensitive that while during the procedure I had a really bad reaction and ended up having a severe asthma attack; I was put on a ventilator to help me breath, almost had to go to ICU. I was fortunate enough that I soon was able to breath on my own; I don't actually remember all this as I was under anesthesia, but my doctor and son are the ones who told me what I had gone through. On the chance that the ventilator might have re inflated more ex-rays were ordered this morning. There was no change... Now the doctor wants to refer me the University of Michigan hospital for a second opinion... feels like my doctor has given up and I'm back to square one after all this... Thank you for your prayers, it appears I'll be needing more for a while. Still in the hospital, my white count was up so their watching for infection... thanks again. Linda
