D., I watched the last two Democratic debates and some (maybe many) of the things stated just makes me shake my head. If Americans are foolish enough to vote for Bernie for president well, I just won't get it. He spoke of his Vermont "summer camp" at one of the two last debates. I never heard of a summer home being referred to as a summer camp before. His summer camp is one of three homes that he owns and actually consists of a 4 bedroom house and a 1 bedroom bunkhouse. I really have never heard of a bunkhouse before either, this is normally referred to as a guest house. Hmmm. But I don't fully agree that this the cause of Bernie's popularity. I think that his popularity also stems from guilt. I am honestly not sure how popular the term "Jewish guilt" is around the world but I have heard this phrase growing up on LI. I am also not sure how popular the term "Catholic guilt" is worldwide either but this is another term that I have heard numerous times in my lifetime. And with all of the things that US politicians have been speaking of for the past several years and what our children are being taught in school or maybe I should say the way that history is being presented in school, I really think that guilt is the greater reason for Bernie's and socialism's apparent popularity in the USA. I also think that it is due to poor teaching of our catechism and religious training in general and the huge, huge gap between the wealthy and the poor of the world; and I honestly don't think that any of those Democratic Presidential candidates are going to make any changes that will help. Their changes are going to take our country further away from God.

Yep, his claim is that his book sales made him wealthy and I don't know how much his wealth increased from the time that HRC was given the nomination in 2016 but many people have wondered whether or not the DNC bought many of his books, if you know what I mean and I believe that you do. A friend of mine whose father who worked with Higgins in ESB many years ago as it was Higgins 1st job as an office clerk. Then he went to NUIG unversity became a lecturer then professor and then he joined the Irish labour party, Then he was nominated as a senator and later a TD. His pensions in order of jobs he had worked - ESB, NUIG , Labour party, Senator and a TD as i dont know about other pensions. But it's probably six pensions as a minimum. He's not popular wtth ordinary folks here cos he had signed dreadful bills into law such Vulture funds, Turf bog bill, austerity bill and Nama Bill as i could go on. He was very anti american when he was a lecturer. Another story first hand from a mother whose ex husband was best (ex now) pals with higgins from univ days as they kept in touch for some 50 years. HIggins asked him to look after his kids for 3 weeks in Cork. Then 3 weeks were over as family was happy to see the back of them off ....Not once did Higgins visit them over 3 weeks as of he left them with a big noose around their neck looking after teen kids while he went off somewhere swanning in Cork. Then a year or two later, Higgins didnt invite that family for his presidential inauguration at all whatsoever. Mother of the family was offended by Higgins as she refused to welcome him back in Cork cos he used her family etc. Higgins had to make it up by inviting that family back to his presidential home but it didnt work out. The damage was done and dusted as family said to me, they didnt want him back nor see him cos they felt that they were used by Higgins. I found Mc Aleese was much better than Higgins as she was down to earth and more approachable.
Q has mentioned a couple of times at least that in the future look for "book deals" from the various persons of interest. They will use this as their covers for their money laundering....like the sudden wealth from the Clintons really from diverting money coming into their "Clinton Foundation" into their own personal use. And the others more than likely diverting campaign finances into personal accounts....as Sanders has been accused of doing and moving sums into wife's account.

I'm in Southern California, winter essentially/effectively ended here sometime in January. A mild winter here for us! I've done all this preparation... knowing we have huge asian/chinese populations here. Further, if much of the rest of the country is affected, this will affect us economically and with supplies. The sun does not make us immune. Moreover, no matter what, coronavirus will be with us again starting in Fall/Winter. This may just be the dress rehearsal.
