I pray that this young man recovers. Sadly these heart attacks and blood clots are happening with greater frequency. It seems as though athletes who have been vaccinated are especially at risk when the body is under physical stress. What a terrible shame that many of these young men and women were pressured to be vaccinated to participate in their sport.
Jason, I watched this as well. It’s soooo alarming because it demonstrates that the injury to the myocardium (heart muscle) by the booster is quite sub clinical. That is most of those people with injury suffered no symptoms such as chest pain. Injury occurred more often in women and all of the injured patients (one in 35) would be at risk for life threatening heart rhythms (like ventricular fibrillation) from the injured cells with increased demand on the heart like playing sports. This study only followed those tested for 30 days and the authors were able to definitively show causality. There are a few of us in the medical field that tried to warn patients of a pattern of risk from receiving the shots. Now I believe this data has to be revealed to patients so people can make a true decision with informed consent. I can tell you that informed consent is not happening and likely won’t despite this information. It’s truly sad.
Truly Sad Mark. Our son is visiting us from Asia--a true believer in all the covid shots and his friend from Texas came here to see him. He is an ICU pulmonologist and reiterated the same talking points. Derision over the "horse paste" and the danger of people doing their research on the internet. I said nothing. (I was not really invited into the conversation)But how is it possible for a trained MD not to see the dire consequences for many people from these shots and to dismiss the benefits of "horse paste". Shaking my head.
