I had covid omicron version in February. I am 72, diabetic. Not vaxxed. It was a very bad sore throat but was over it in ten days. Dr. gave me steroids for the throat. My husband got it, his was a bad cough. He did not go to the Dr. It was our second round of covid, first time was Aug. of 2020. We did the routine, quercetin, zinc, echinacea and rosemary in a diffuser, herb teas and green tea. Lots of liquids and electrolytes. He is 78. It took him three weeks to get over it, then he was tired for another two weeks. He also took NyQuil, DayQuil for cough. We are fine now. Slept a lot, watched tv, stayed home and are fine now. We should be full of good antibodies. I did not know I had covid, thought it was strep throat . . .didnt panic over it.
Gotta say Jack you are right on the money in these comments. Unless Our Lady intervenes. I've known for a long time we were in deep trouble. I have marveled at God's patience.
KF…sounds like you managed everything just right! No panic…just take therapy and get what meds you can. Glad you both got through it!
Here in DC area, Nancy Pelosi has tested positive for Covid and she is vaxxed and boosted. So far, no symptoms. Muriel Bowser, mayor of DC, just tested positive for Covid. She has allergy-like symptoms.
This past week I was getting a pretty constant headache, some stomach issues (not unusual since have mild IBS) and super tired late afternoon and evening. The headache reminded me of similar ones I've had being around post shot people (spike shedding possibly). With no other symptoms it didn't occurred to me till day 5 that I may have omicron (or whatever name they use currently). I kept working throughout. I tested a couple days ago negative and feeling pretty much better. Still on my usual regiment of supplements. They are calling this the 6th wave here. A couple provinces restated masking through April but, so far, Ontario hasn't, but I think they will, the pressure from the mask Nazis is relentless.. Back to pushing a 4th shot which just doesn't make sense to me. 4 shots in 1 year!! When will this ever end..........
I’ve had just a head cold for two weeks and it’s the only thing I’ve had a appetite for. Some folks think it’s medicinal…? It can’t hurt!
Yes that's what happened to me in November. I thought it was a bad bad cold. The fatigue is a big clue.
Does anyone think this might be the last normal summer? Will things change exponentially come winter? Will change come that fast? Or will they grind us more methodically...
I think we will see food shortages and fuel shortages very probably. Beyond that I can't hazard a guess.
Very true. Travel is almost a thing of the past for many. That was one of their goals. I think I'm trying to get at when things will change exponentially, there's still a facade of normality... When will that slip, do people think?
