I see in the news Biden is taking steps to act the dictator in America, the marxist mentality is about to be imposed on the good old USA. Who would have ever thought that could happen. Remember the days when it was reds under the beds, now they are in the White House. Sigh.
Spot on! And after POTUS speech yesterday , even more blaming and finger pointing at unvaccinated as cause of all the spread , hospitalizations and deaths. The new a scarlet letter is “U” (unvaccinated). and still not one mention or considerations of impact of previous infection and natural immunity. I vacillate between anger and giving up (running away ) multiple tines. a day. Right now I’m pissed off.
I feel the same, emotions all over the place. I believe that Biden's speech last night was the most horrific I have ever heard delivered from a President of the US. I was so upset when he called it a 'pandemic of the unvaccinated'. He sounded like an angry, threatening dictator, deliberately dividing our great country. I was on Twitter last night, and people are ripping mad. Many nurses were furious, one commented, 'They will have to drag me from this hospital, I will leave fingernail marks on the sidewalk". My husband said they are organizing rallies in our area, for the first time in our lives we have the desire to get out there and participate in a protest. This diabolical agenda is moving ahead at warp speed. If we do not push back on a massive scale it will be over for working people who need their jobs to survive, and when they finish with them they will come after those in retirement. We cannot let them destroy our freedom. As an American it was beyond my wildest imagination that a man in the highest office would launch such an evil attack on his people, but here we are. It is going to take courageous warriors of all kinds to win this battle, prayer warriors, as well as foot soldiers marching in solidarity. May the Lord bless and protect our families, and help us to persevere through these trials.

And it might be the cause of a level of domestic violence and bloodshed never before seen in the history of the world. There are prophecies (dubious?) of gun violence over a drop of gasoline, and that after the minor tribulation the memory of such brutal conflict will lead to a universal outlawing of firearms. I’m well armed and reasonably well trained in the use of firearms, more so than an average American. But I don’t think firearms are ultimately going to keep us “safe” from what’s coming.
Sorry Don I dont think I was clear in my reply to you I wasnt suggesting not using nasal irrigation techniques per se as a sufferer of sinus issues I have done so over the years to good effect...I was referencing the effect of saline solution on covid tests, from experience I know saline solution can produce a positive covid result on the tests themselves.
I pray it does not come to violence, it's the last thing we need. Americans will put up a fight to protect our freedom, but hopefully it will be through protest. We must pray to the Holy Spirit for guidance.
- I often come close to caving in and taking the vaccine. After all, I got the 'flu vaccine last year. It never occurred to me to question how it was made or tested. I answered the questions about allergies, signed the form and rolled up my sleeve. That's the last vaccine I will ever take without asking a whole lot of questions. This covid hysteria has undermined my trust in doctors. I'm not stupid enough to believe that all doctors are saints. I've met some great and not so great doctors down through the years. I just can't get my head around how so many of them are being led and said by a handful of billionaires and passing off their compliance as following the science. My heart goes out to people being forced to choose between the vaccine and earning their living. I certainly wouldn't blame any of them for submitting to the pressure. Nor do I have anything against those who were eager to be vaccinated. I see this as a matter for each person's conscience. We have it on the highest earthly authority that it's not sinful to get vaccinated. Not sinful to take it doesn't translate into sinful to refuse it. So, whatever people decide either way, I wish them well. It would be nice if the good wishes were reciprocated and the bullying came to an end. But nobody promised us that life would be fair. Whatever you do, don't lose sight of our obligation to love our neighbour and pray for our persecutors.
This, a thousand times. Violence would play right into Biden's hands. It would take all attention away from the mess he made of the withdrawal from Afghanistan as well as his low ratings in the polls, and give him an excuse to further suppress free speech. There will be evil people in the shadows on both sides of the divide. Don't let yourselves be manipulated into a repeat of what happened at the Capitol building.
