Well bad news about my father who is currently in ICU in craigavon with covid. Had a doctor on with my brother earlier who seems like a bit of a wagon who effectively was saying your Father is not going to recover. If she had her way she suggests they wouldn't have put him in ICU which I thought was an outrageous statement. My Father had an infectijn also midweek on too of thr covid which th fought off with antibiotics so he is still fighting. They are talking about withdrawing support etc. Im not one bit happy and trying to hold it together. She said if he were to have a beart attack for example they wouldnt resuscitate. I thought you had to actually sign a DNR. What powers have these lunatics been given? Please keep him in prayers especially tomorrow on the blessed virgin's feast day.

My prayers are with your father and for you Malachi. Also I pray the heart of this doctor will be softened by Our Lord. Sadly many hospital boards are making these dreadful directives when it comes to handling covid patients at least here in the US. It is not even in the hands of the Doctors in many cases and they are bound by the boards decisions.
