My greatest issue is that he says "the visions asked him to expand Hail Mary".

You stated this once before and I asked about this, but you didn't answer. Could you point out where he says this please?

 

No one talks about it...but he mentioned it during his cross country conference. I think he started the conference with the expanded lines. Don't remember what the line was...but someone in MOG knows the expanded version.

This is what I have found on this matter. Joe responded on this question a few weeks ago. This is what he said:

It is the flame of love line from the movement of that name founded by Elizabeth Kindelmann and given the nihil obstat by a cardinal. Charlie did not change the Hail Mary. He simply added this line on this occasion that had already been given to someone else.
Interestingly the seers of Garabandal added their own line "Mother of God - and our mother" but our Lady told them to keep it for private use until it was approved by the Church. That may happen with the 5th dogma.
Cardinal Erdo the primate of Hungary, six other bishops and the local ordinary approved the messages of Elizabeth.​

I first heard about this request back in the 80's. I say the addition a little different but it means the same.

So Charlie is sometimes grumpy. He reminds me of St Padre Pio in this regard. He has a past... :-( So do many of us! Is it easy to backslide after a conversion? St Peter warns us in 2 Peter 2-22..... "For it had been better for them not to have known the way of justice, than after they have known it, to turn back from that holy commandment which was delivered to them. 22 For, that of the true proverb has happened to them: The dog is returned to his vomit: and, The sow that was washed, to her wallowing in the mire. " Yet we know that Peter, after spending 3 years listening to his Master, experiencing the Transfiguration, turned against Jesus. I never knew Him! " Then he began to curse and to swear that he knew not the man. And immediately the cock crew." Matt 26 So Charlie isn't a saint. He, like the rest of us, has free will. He will be judged like all of us...like Peter was.

I have listened to dozens of sweet talking so-called prophets over the past 2 decades. They told me what I wanted to hear, but nothing they prophesied has come to pass. Charlie is no sweet talker...I actually think that is why God chose him. Not long now to see if what he says comes to pass.

My impression was that he predicted Obama wouldn't finish his term. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if not, that leaves five months. I agree with you absolutely about the Hail Mary, although some of the posts above make it seem clear that Charlie is not the primary source, so is not necessarily responsible.

I have also known for years about the devotion to the 'Flame of Love in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.' It should not surprise anyone to hear the 'Flame of Love' spoken of refers to Jesus Who's love fills the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
When we use this prayer, we are asking Blessed Mother to fill the whole world with the love of Jesus Christ. And God knows we need it.

From what I read in Charlie Johnston's articles, I understood him to say it will be at the inauguration of the next American President that things will not be as normal. I am certain Charlie did not say the elections will not take place; so January 2017 would be the time to get out the knives (figuratively speaking) if Charlie is wrong. In the meantime, it would be a great act of Charity and Mercy if we offer our opinions humbly to Jesus as a means to make reparation for our own pride and arrogance in God's Holy sight.

My impression of Charlie is he is encouraging us to have confidence in God; keep the faith of our fathers alive in our hearts, and encourage one another until God comes to the rescue.

Why is that so unbearable, undoable, unbelievable to some people. The mind boggles. After all it is just the sort of encouragement I remember getting from my parents while we were growing up. Maybe that is how so many of my siblings have kept the faith.

 

Yes, this is the Flame of Love devotion becoming so widespread these days. Charlie probably joined on since "Pelianito" who often comments on his blog is also spreading this devotion so he more than likely was influenced by her and a few others now making this devotion known. We're only 30 years behind on this devotion here in the U.S. It was Church approved via the Primate of Hungary and the first national conference here in the U.S. was last year in Philly via AB Chaput. There are many Flame of Love cenacles spreading and the additional words are for these times....in order to "blind Satan" in our diabolically disoriented world. The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary IS Jesus and His overflowing Love for mankind which flows out of Her Heart. Once again in her role as our Mother, She is the one for these times to offer us a way out of Satan's influence.

 

We shouldn't get bent out of shape if the discussion has two sides. This was actually very civil discourse. You can accept and believe Charlie. You can deny charlie...or you can take a wait and see on charlie.

It really doesn't matter. From the person who has returned to his vomit. Who am i to judge. But at least we can see the positive and the negative. I just think charlie would have been better off not saying...he has spoken to all the spiritual beings. Most mystics don't...and true mystics keep it to themselves. Maybe its the internet that changes the game. Also...mystics can be grumpy but its usually with people who are playing with their personal faith. One example was the Padre Pio story...when a girl came to confession with a skirt inches above her knee. Padre Pio rudely threw her out. I guess some would say he was grumpy. Others would say he was saving souls.

So much information now adays...its easy to get caught up in this or that. Charlie is a good guy. Hopefully he leads many souls to heaven. One might hear the words "feed my sheep" and not know what to do. But Charlie is doing what he thinks is best.

Specifically, on his website he stated:

I said that he would be eledted [elected] before he received the nomination to my priests, that he would lead us into the fullness of the Storm, that he would leave office in chaos and disgrace before his term was finished, and would live to convert in the end.

And again on Jan 8, 2016 in his post entitled "Through a Glass Darkly", he states:
"I have often said there will be no presidential election this year. Actually, there are some narrow circumstances in which there could be, but the results would be irrelevant. What I was told was that President Obama would not finish his term and that our next stable national leader will not come from the election process. You could have an explosion of events after an election and before an inauguration. You could have Obama declare a national emergency, cancel elections, extend his term and then depart before the extension was up. The most likely scenario is that everything will be up in the air before election, but there are narrow circumstances where that may not be."

Elsewhere on his blog Charlie elaborated that not only will be no next elected American President, but during the Storm there will actually be a succession of interim national “leaders”, something like what regents would be to a monarchy.

And....(although a bit muddled as far as anything specific to grasp on to)

The man named Menses

Charlie foresees a man whom the Angels call "Menses." This is not his given name, but just a contemptuous nickname the Angels use to refer to him, for the the Latin word "menses" literally refers to the flow of blood from the uterus during a woman's menstrual cycle. Charlie does not see the man as being specifically the anti-Christ. He will be a man who seems entirely orthodox and will seem to be a great defender of the Catholic faith. He will particularly deceive for a time many who are considered "conservative" Catholics. Charlie has stated "He is given over entirely to the spirit of antichrist and to satan...He is a very bad actor who plays at being a very good actor...He has, with full knowledge, given himself over to the satan. I do not believe he is the personification of the antichrist, but I do not know that he is not. He is a particularly charming, deceptive and malignant minion of satan." He will be revealed for who he truly is only as the Storm ends---right up to the moment of the Rescue.

So the period after Charlie's "Rescue" where things will begin to be rebuilt....like his "to be shrine" on Mt. Meeker....seems to be the result of man's conversion through the Immaculate Heart of Mary and after only man's own terrible terror of man and that violence which he expresses as resulting in the "mere" 26,000,000 deaths. But rather what doesn't seem to get any mention is what approved mystics of old as well as what is covered at Garabandal, Fatima, and Akita as the great Chastisement coming from God IF man doesn't change after the great Warning or last offering of Mercy, which itself is not accepted by Charlie, as it is explained by such visionaries and approved mystics. That is the "punishment from God"/purification (which Charlie doesn't accept as any of this being a punishment from God Himself and people shouldn't see it as that, while there is described within prophecies of the Church that there will be two punishments, one coming from man and the other coming from God) that would involve the predicted "fire from heaven", literally, with the burning and destruction of much of the earth and which would result (in all of these punishments combined) in 2/3 of world population and then 2/3 of that remainder also being killed off by the remaining disease, starvation et al. So if one has no reason to expect such greater punishments well then why do all that is being asked for from heaven for all these decades for so many souls who could be lost in such unexpected calamities....prayer, sacrifice, etc.??? There has to be that cleansing via "Send forth Your Spirit and we shall be re-created and Thou shall renew the face of the earth". It's not to be some new man made place of existence like anything remembered in the past with newly constructed shrines of old or the like....it's to be a wholly new earth with new "light" like no other experienced....better than the original garden, always intended for God's remnant who come through this test via their consecrations to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and through their conversions through the last and greatest act of Mercy from God in the Warning/Illumination of Conscience!! Fr. Iannuzzi outlines what unimaginable changes in this world will be lived in this Era of the Divine Will to come "on earth AS in heaven"....there will be no memory of this past world, and no one will ever wish to remember such....complete detachment from such in order to even enter into this new Era of the Divine Will. So one can readily see why people would prefer to see things more to their understanding and comprehension of how things work now. The new reality is something now unimaginable except in total faith and trust in the Father's Will....NOT ours!! Without that understanding one is left only with a type of geo-political understanding and human nature's limitations due to that original sin.

Don't true visions work through the Catholic Church. The visions usually lead you to speak to Catholic officials (not one small group of priests). The visions might mention you will suffer by the church response. But they always state to be obedient.

One of the things about Charlies articles for me is. I believe he is trying to describe what he was made to understand UP TO what he calls the RESCUE.
I understand the Rescue to be equivalent to what we know as the Warning from Garabandal. So could it be before the end of 2017 beginning 2018 ?
I am also inclined to believe this could possibly be what we hear called 'the eye of the Storm.'

The Akita prophesies talk about the Chastisement that would follow some time after the Warning and Miracle (as from Garabandal) if mankind does not repent and return to God. This terrible Chastisement is also mentioned at Garabandal, if mankind does not repent and return to God. Akita mentions two thirds of the earths population being wiped out. And maybe as you say further numbers as a result of disease.

I understood Charlie to say he believes the 26,000,000 deaths would be world wide, not just America. I may have misunderstood that. I thought this to mean in the time leading up to the rescue, and wondered if it could come about from jihadists killing in the name of their perceived god. This would also bring home the prophesies of Don Bosco, which I feel are being fulfilled in our day from the year 2000 to date.

It is worth mentioning that the visionaries from Medjugorje were told about the prophesies of Don Bosco by Our Lady. They living in a communist country had never heard it before just like not knowing about Fatima as far as I can recall. But Blessed Mother asked them to note down what she told about Don Bosco prophesy then, and take it to the Vatican. Or so I read a number of years ago.

As I have mentioned before, I follow Charlie Blog 'cause his projections of the Catastrophic Future matches mine and his mere 26 Million worldwide KIA is a message of Hope and Divine Intervention as far as I'm concerned. If I had to guess at a figure my old history major/military mind would come up with 5 times that number ... and remember ! If we are talking battle casualties it's 26 million KIA and another 60 million WIA ... how I envision The Storm would bring much more. Whether Charlie is the Real Deal ..... or ANY not-approved by Church sources ... I know not. If it turns out to be bogus come New Years 2018, I'll shake the dust off my sandals and press-on along the Lord's Path as best I can.
I hope this Planet can stumble along for 40 more years or at least until I'm in the grave ..... but I'm not counting on it ... nor should you!!

30,000,000 died during the second world war I believe. But we do not recall the number as a matter of fact like the normal annual deaths of people on the planet. I believe if Charlie is correct, the number will be remembered as being part of whatever might come our way in the Storm they speak of.
