As we approach the end of the end times and the coming time of Justice I want to remind all of the efficacy of both the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for answered prayer and Divine protection.

Having prayed the Rosary daily for 15 years now I continue to say it daily but as our times have become so evil I have started to add the chaplet to my daily prayer regime for the salvation of souls.

Jesus said to St. Faustina, "My daughter, encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given you. It pleases me to grant everything they ask of Me by saying the chaplet" (Diary, 1541).

Later, He told her, "Through the Chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My will" (Diary, 1731).

I also want to highlight the Power of the Image of Divine Mercy -- Jesus promised temporal protection for those who honour His Image.

“I shall preserve the cities and homes in which this picture [of Divine Mercy] shall be found.

In a letter to Catholic Voice Ruth Ayres of Hailsham, East Sussex wrote the following letter ----
    “Two Polish Cities Saved”
“A most unusual aspect of the Mercy Message is the promise of physical protection.
“One of the main reasons we are able to spread this message today is because of the indisputable proof God gave to this remarkable promise. He told St Faustina there was coming a new and more terrible war for the world, and that Poland would suffer much for its sins. But He would spare those cities where His picture of Mercy would be publicly venerated. Only in Kraków and Vilno was official ecclesiastical approval granted to spread the message and to display a copy of the picture for public veneration – before Poland was invaded by the Nazis in September 1939.
“Both Kraków (population 650,000) and Vilno (population 400,000) should have been destroyed, like Warsaw and every other major Polish city. Yet many eyewitnesses testify that, although both the Germans and the Russians invaded Poland and caused frightful destruction everywhere, particularly in Warsaw and the larger cities, these two were spared and suffered little or no damage.”

I also read that there was a drought where Sr Faustina resided - she prayed the chaplet for 3 hours non stop and it rained.

I also remember reading that during the bombing in Poland nuns handed out the Divine Mercy Image and the houses that put the image over their doorways were spared. Of course we remember the story of the priests who followed the message of Fatima and prayed the rosary every day were spared after the atomic blast went off practically right over them. I think both are necessary and I pray both the Chaplet and Rosary each day and have the Divine Mercy Image over my door.
