Since 1984, we have seen the complete collapse of the 'Evil Empire' and a revival of the Russian Orthodox Church and other Christian churches within that territory. The rest of the world has got astronomically worse since that time, but I would argue this is because of the absorption of Russia's errors during the unfortunate delay in consecrating her. Our Lady called for a prompt consecration of Russia. It was inevitable that there would be catastrophic consequences for such an unconscionable delay. To continue to attack Russia is an example of blaming the sinner instead of the sins. Russia appears to have made some strides towards repentance while we in the West continue with our descent to iniquity.

 

That would be true if her consecration means a conversion to Catholicism. If it means a conversion from an atheist state back to a Christian one, that would be different. If Orthodoxy in Russia was the problem, it begs the question why Our Lady wasn't calling for her conversion for centuries. Since it happened uncannily just before Russia's becoming the first atheist state, I think it is logical that this is the situation to which our Blessed Mother is referring.

According the book I am reading from Saint Augustin (revelations to a mystic italien), the era of peace will only start in 2023. He said that in 2023 it is the "end of the eart", everything will look different (in a positive way), the earth as we know it, will not be the same anymore.
We have so many secrets that still have to take place followed by the anti-christ period of 3.5 years, so the year 2017 is really too soon for the new era of peace.

 

I watched this film yesterday evening: I also would like to see some of those angels on earth. But we will when the Era of Peace is there.

 

Could you please quote the reference of the Book? I expect the second coming between 2021 and 2027 too.

I caught part of an interview with Gorbachev a couple of days ago. I can't remember on which TV channel - possibly BBC or Euronews. He regretted not having had the opportunity to see perestroika through to its intended conclusion of bringing real peace between east and west (I'm paraphrasing him). He also said that the EU and US had actively attempted to undermine Putin's leadership to get him removed from office and the attempts were counterproductive, which must be fairly obvious to anyone looking at the situation objectively.

Russia's greatest error of apostasy had already spread to the rest of the world and embedded itself in the Church before Gorbachev came to power.

It appears to me that Russia is very much on the road to full conversion while successive Popes have left us with widespread apostasy in the West because they trusted politicians and their own political manoeuvrings before a direct request from Heaven. I believe that St. John Paul's election to the papacy was truly inspired by the Holy Spirit, that the attempted assassination was a wakeup call, and that the consecration was acceptable. Our Lady didn't promise an instant conversion and she said that "in the end" her immaculate heart would triumph. We selfish, impatient humans make the mistake of expecting instant results even after we, through our Popes and our own tardiness at observing the first Saturday devotions, left Heaven waiting for decades. The fulfilment of Fatima will be the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary which will come after all of Russia has been converted. That's when we will have peace but if we in the West suffer before Our Lady's triumph we have ourselves to blame. Healing the Great Schism could be part of the process and if it is, it won't matter that Christian Russia is Orthodox rather than Roman Catholic.

 

That suggests more of Masonic influences than Catholicism.

 

You are judging too quickly. The book was recommended to me by a very conservative catholic priest. You should read the annexes, althoug in French, because St Augustin explains it to us, individuals with critical minds. Read first, judge afterwards. That is my motto. I do not defend Russia blindly.

There is something very important we still don't know of Fatima. Martin said not even Neues Europa contain the core element. If we think what is still secret today, for me there is one answer. That revelation and how the countries and people arrange after it is made will determine who enters the era of peace or should we say the kingdom of God on earth, imperfect but kingdom.

 

All Sacred Astronomy is nonsense. The sign called WCWTS is ordinary constellation of stars. Therefore you can freely begin to count from December 18 (or maybe 23) 20ab, what is 40 weeks before 23th September 20cd and this day (23.9. 20cd or 28.9,) is 1290 days before Holy week 20xy, and according to M-J Jahenny, 3 Days of Darkness should be in the Holy week.

 

I would just add that we have had many attempted "consecrations" by several Popes.....not all that dissimilar to the 1984 attempt. They each were lacking in something....without the Bishops of the world or without the exact wording as specified. Pope John XXIII had it in his power but even complicated things with the Council agreement that set up the restrictions of not mentioning Russian Communism by the Church in order to get Orthodox representatives to the Council. That rather "political" agreement (why Fr. Amorth referred to the "politicians" surrounding JPII ordering him NOT to use Russia by name when he asked if he could 3 different times I believe before the 1984 consecration) was still in force in 1984. Soooo, since '89 a true consecration could have been done since that agreement was then null and void but by then the Bishops of the world had been corrupted even further.

The Warning will sort out even the consciences of the hierarchy and their accountability for the world situation. And even after that it could be expected that many could still remain with hearts already too hardened and still be used by Satan. But hopefully many will repent. It's the ones who've remained closest to the Mother, Consecrated, who have the greatest reason to hope. And by "late" coming from Our Lady at Fatima there is still the question to that meaning....late within the 100 year period granted to Satan with his mechanism for his attempt to conquer souls being Atheistic Marxist Communism established right after the last apparition of Fatima....or even later than that (beyond 2017) since many will still have to be convinced of its necessity either through the Warning or by the wars and catastrophes of nature being sent against the ongoing rejection of God. There will be no one human....as some still believe that Gorbachev alone, if left to his intentions without interference, could have accomplished (while not including the fact that he has always been included in the past meetings of the global elitists of the NWO types) to be the causal factor in conversions of souls. The conversion of any Commie controlled nation as anywhere else where materialism has conquered is always of the heart of each individual. It's not a conversion of a power structure alone (although they can be brought down) that then will automatically convert the hearts of humans who will still be effected by the same original sin as before. It seems God sends help to nations when the people themselves begin to cry out for that help. Even that 2011 "prophecy" given to the retired fireman showed that necessity since the man believed it would come about in 2012 but was told that even the good people had still to be convinced through 4 more years of Obama's control over their intended freedoms before they themselves would begin to act, to beg in desperation, and move more toward God. And that is still ongoing....people have to continue to move and to sacrifice and to pray and to convert in order for God to help them. It continues to be the battle between powers and principalities with as expected only a remnant remaining, tried and true.

 

We really don't know whether any part of the secret remains unrevealed. Fr. Martin could have meant the interpretation given to Sr. Lucy which has never been revealed.

St. John Paul had great devotion to Our Lady. He grew up and became a priest in a country ruled by Communism. I'm content that he would have heeded any reservations Sr. Lucy had about the consecration. Any Bishop who didn't participate in the consecration will answer to God who never forces Himself on us. The difference between Pope John Paul and his predecessors is that he was willing to comply with Our Lady's request and any imperfection in the consecration wasn't due to his lack of belief or trust in God. That's why I believe the account of Sr. Lucy saying that the consecration was acceptable to Heaven.

Russians are no better or worse than people elsewhere in the world. We all tend to be like sheep believing that our enemies are whomever our leaders tell us are the bad guys. Russia has a State controlled news media. We have a State compliant media. None of us gets the whole truth. Russia is supporting Assad as he wipes out the opposition in Aleppo. The EU and US is supporting Saudi as it carries out atrocities in Yemen. None of them holds the high moral ground and none of them can claim to be doing God's will. If forced to choose which of them is the lesser evil, I would lean towards Russia because they didn't arm ISIS in Syria or play chicken with Maliki in Iraq as ISIS set about clearing the Christians out of the cradle of Christianity. And at least Russia acknowledges the harm abortion has brought them; acknowledges that it takes a man and a woman to contract a marriage and doesn't try to force those evils on other countries.

Best for us to learn our faith, live it and leave the rest to God. Any warning won't do us much good if we don't know our faith.

 

I'm sorry, Elisa, I mean no offence to you or any priest but I won't be reading anything that suggests the date for the end of the world is written anywhere let alone on an Egyptian pyramid. That's enough to tell me that whoever appeared to the devout lady wasn't St. Augustine. Jesus said that only His Father knew the date of the end of the world, and I believe Jesus.
