BREAKING: Supreme Court Strikes Down Roe V. Wade Decision In Draft Of Majority Opinion, Report Says!

Today is also the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

 

Today, after 50 years of prayer and fasting, the tide of the Culture of Death begins to break.....
Let us celebrate this momentous day which marks the fruit of more than 50 years of prayer and witness by the faithful through America. Today the Supreme Court of the United States issued an opinion in the Dobbs v Jackson stating that there is no unqualified constitutional right to abortion in America.

Although it will not affect the present abortion regulation here in New York State, this decision will permit states to restrict abortion beyond the narrow parameters of Roe v Wade and Planned Parenthood v Casey. It is expected that up to 26 states will outlaw or restrict abortion in response to this decision.

We still have a lot of work ahead of us in New York, as the loud, angry, potentially violent response of the pro-abortion movement makes clear. But today the highest court in our nation recognizes that the sacredness of human life is a good above that of personal "privacy". Our country begins to acknowledge that abortion is not just routine "healthcare" but an action which not only takes a life but deeply affects women and our whole society.

The Archdiocese of New York has promised to support any woman who finds herself pregnant and in need and we plan to redouble our efforts as we pray that more and more women here will take courage from this decision to listen to their hearts and not their fears. Why am I thinking about the three days of darkness?

 

While I am filled with joy , I too have a trepidation…. The wolves will be out now with great veracity. There will be attacks. The lines will now be very very clear. Prayers of thanksgiving and prayers of protection.

 

Dust, Miker said it well. Personally, I am thinking of the Warning since I believe in the prophecies of Our Lady of Garabandal and it seems like the 3DofD could be the Chastisement that the seers spoke of which would come after the Warning. If ever there was a time...+
