The conversion story of the Carmelite Prioress here, Mother Dorothea Wilkes is very striking.

Something to come back to, to be filled with gratitude to God for such prayer warriors.:notworthy: The beauty of silence!

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

She looks so beautiful..they both do.
It's as if they had make up on, but they don't..at least I don't think so. Also they seem mature and wise. Depths.

I'd love to kidnap them to have a good talk with them all for a few hours.:):)

My most Red Pill moment with Carmel was when a Sister said, 'Our Vocation is to hang on the Cross with Christ'.

Not a very good vocation poster for a young woman wishing to enter you might think. :D:D

But then again young people love challenges and this is a huge challenge, an all or nothing sort of thing.

I love the romance of it all too though.

I read a piece from a Carthusian nun in a convent where one of the sisters had just died and they buried her that morning. She was writing in the evening time when the bells were ringing.

She spoke of the convent being filled with the light of the dead nuns passing into heaven; every sister in the place was filled with the huge joyous sense that their departed sister had returned to give them all one last hug from heaven.

    You can't beat that....wonderful..
