BREAKING NEWS: Cardinal Burke Calls for Consecration of Russia May 19, 2017 The Fatima Center rejoices at Cardinal Raymond Burke's call for the proper consecration of Russia by the Pope and all the Catholic bishops of the world “in accord with Her [Our Lady's] explicit instruction,” asking the faithful the world over to “work for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.” While this is a very happy development, this is not a moment for all of us to ‘sit on our laurels’ at the recognition of the objective truth by such a high-ranking prelate. Rather in the spirit of our beloved founder and director, the tireless Father Nicholas Gruner (who endured decades of persecution for rightfully insisting on the proper Consecration as asked for by Heaven), we must pray and work more fervently than ever, for the fulfillment of this request of Our Lord and Our Lady.
If we the laity are making the Five First Saturdays, we are doing what Our Lady of Fatima asked, and that is all we can do along with praying for her Immaculate Heart to Triumph. Please God this will happen sooner rather than later. Although Blessed Mother did say, it will be late; but better late than never.
I'm afraid that in Ireland it will take another Consecration of Russia. I usually avoid the news here because it's too depressing but the radio was on when I was in the kitchen making my morning cuppa. Some Lebanese man is taking his case for polygamy to the courts because he has two wives and his religion permits four. Our Constitution probably doesn't recognise polygamy. That would be the same Constitution that once upon a time didn't recognise divorce, gay marriage or abortion.
Once the first brick is dislodged from the wall it is only a matter of time. I heard a priest say once upon a time "you can't have a little bit sin". He was referring to an island in the Caribbean that allowed drug traders in and out for the money it brought in using their island as a transit. In subsequent years drugs became a vicious problem and family life broke down and crime went up. You let the tiger out of the cage it is hard to get him back in. I think this gay agenda is proof of that.
It will come down to a 'religious right' by the look of things. Here's where Canada is on polygamy laws: http://vancouversun.com/news/crime/...-law-on-trial-for-the-first-time-in-127-years
