Does anyone here pray the Chaplet of the Sacred Heart? I pray it, because I've heard that devotion to the Sacred Heart is recommended for people who struggle with the sin of anger. I'm getting into the habit of saying it everyday, preferably in the morning, to overcome my anger issues as well as other sins. The Chaplet of the Sacred Heart is said as follows: I've heard one of the Pius Popes identified "Five Works of the Sacred Heart" namely: The Institution of the Most Holy Eucharist The Most Painful Agony of Our Lord's Passion on the Cross Our Lord's Giving of His Most Holy Mother Mary to us while He was on the Cross Our Lord's Establishment of the One Holy Catholic Church Our Lord's sending of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost I meditate on each of these Five Works of the Sacred Heart for each of the five decades on my Rosary.
