Yes, and so many "prophecies" speak to "regional" events.....perhaps an earthquake here and a volcano there and a sink hole here or a tsunami there; terrorist attack here or emp there. Doubt if any "region" will get out of the coming disasters......only those within such places who have been watchful and obedient will perhaps benefit from the graces offered to the faithful....in one way or another. Divine Mercy images placed in windows have been helpful previously.....like in the bombing of Polish cities. Pope has said that the time of Mercy is not over....with the closing of the doors of the YofM. Perhaps he knows that Satan's 100 years for destruction of souls continues into 2017....but woe to those who don't recognize this time of Mercy granted, for it will eventually come to the time of decision for sure.

Oh dear, as I was leaving church Sunday I felt like it would be the last Sunday mass for a while.

 

On Saturday one of our daughter's was confirmed. The Bishop said Mass of course. After receiving our Lord in the Holy Eucharist, my wife, our daughter's sponsor, and myself all had an amazing emotional overwhelming experience of the presence of the Holy Spirit. I had tears streaming down my face, it felt like the veil had been lifted. I found it unusual that all 3 of us reported the same thing, and now you guys reporting interesting feelings after Mass yesterday

 

I had a similar feeling this weekend. I didn't make it in time for the Saturday Mass but I stopped to go through the Holy Door at the Cathedral and say some prayers there. I really felt as if St. Faustina's writing about the door of Mercy was actually occurring. It may have just been in my mind, I don't know. Either way it feels as if the time is short.

At the crossing of the Door of Mercy in the Cathedral last Sunday our Bishop had a line that truly struck me and filled me with hope and joy. He said that the Door of Mercy of the Jubilee was closing but the Door of Mercy remains NOW OPEN in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

How true and beautiful!!

 

Weird. I was thinking the same thing at Mass yesterday and while making my daily visit to our Lord's house for my lunch break today, I saw they had new missal's and song books. Sure enough I went dumpster diving and the old missalette' s and song books were there. I took a box full of song books and old missal's thinking I would not remember the words of any songs that might keep us passified at times. Coincidence??
