I read Bible and I know the first Babylon, civilization without God. And today, after 4000 years we built greater Babylon, with more than one tower. And what can it break down? Only Second Pentecost. The problem of many people of this forum is ignorance of integrity of God's revelation. Term Warning was used only in Garabandal, but it was prophesied by Joel, Malachi, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, David, John... Someone thinks, how great apostel of Garabandal he is and he do not want to know integrity and become blind. How event can convert Israel? Only Second Pentecost. OK if you think, that you do not need Maria Valtorta. You need only Bible. There is all in it. And if you read right the prophecies in Bible, you know that first period of Antichrist is manifestation of False Prophet. Then follows Fall of Babylon and Conversion of Israel bringing millennial Kingdom (if it will take more than 153 days, we can be happy). And then dragon is again revived in the second period of Antichrist, manifestation of Satan.
I just remembered, that st. Martin (feast in 11.11.) is in Slavic traditions mentioned as a rider on a white horse. White horse is mentioned also in Rev. 19:11, but the Rider is Christ. So, according to Slavs, 11th November is day of arrival of white horse. Therefore it can be significant.
As for the the Great Babylon and its fall, I have never read anything as profound on this as Mark Mallett's blog http://www.markmallett.com/blog/mystery-babylon and followed up by /http://www.markmallett.com/blog/the-fall-of-mystery-babylon/ I think he is spot on in these writings.
Dolours, I don't look only for 'church approval', as God gives his spirit to understand his mysteries to many and unlike those who only want to listen to official church approval, they will likely get what Kibeho got for not listening to what our Blessed Mother told them, which the church never approved until 12 years later to the date after (1 million dead in 90 days). I understand that some need church approval to discern, as God has not given this gift to all and it is better for most to use only church approved apparitions/locutions/messages. All of heaven's messages will put the greater part of the pieces of puzzle in God's mystery together. If alleged messages are not contrary to scripture and church teaching than they deserve discernment and that is what God gives to those with 'ears to hear'.
A great article from Fr. Heilman - what Bishop Fulton Sheen said about the end times: www.romancatholicman.com Go to the article "Things accelerate towards the end... I highly suggest it! direct link https://www.romancatholicman.com/th...-the-end-prophecy-of-archbishop-fulton-sheen/ edited by admin
Great article, and thanks for the link to romancatholicman.com I forwarded it to my son. Many thanks, great article, sounds very much like the prophecy is right on the horizon,
wow great article..I think we are already there (highlighted in red ....) “Thus I make it known to you that from the end of the 19th century and shortly after the middle of the 20th century…the passions will erupt and there will be a total corruption of morals… As for the Sacrament of Matrimony, which symbolizes the union of Christ with His Church, it will be attacked and deeply profaned. Freemasonry, which will then be in power, will enact iniquitous laws with the aim of doing away with this Sacrament, making it easy for everyone to live in sin and encouraging procreation of illegitimate children born without the blessing of the Church … In this supreme moment of need for the Church, the one who should speak will fall silent.” -Our Lady of Good Success
Lynnfiat. loved the article. I did not realise Cardinal Burke has over a million signed up now, to his monthly Rosary with all the intentions listed. It was in the hundreds of thousands last time I looked. On more than one Ist of the month, I have had the good fortune to be able to share in a Rosary after Mass in my own parish. There are only three or four who join in. But I always ask them to let us unite with Cardinal Burke and his Rosary Crucade. The other request I make when sharing in Holy Rosary after Mass is that we petition Jesus to bring an end to terrorism. Jesus appeared to a Nigerian Bishop just before Christmas 2014 while the Bishop was praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament for an end to terrorism; and Jesus handed the Bishop a sword. As soon as the Bishop took the sword from Jesus, it turned into a Rosary the weapon to use against Boko Haram. I believe Jesus will end all terrorism if we ask Him through the Holy Rosary.
"The Mystical Body on earth today will have its Judas Iscariot, and he will be the false prophet. Satan will recruit him from our Bishops." (Bishop Sheen) Wonderful site that I will explore. Thank you!
I know about this Nigerian Bishop and we too can do this - if only people would pray the Rosary as Our Lady has been asking of us. We may need more than a million, but remember to pray together with Our Lady who lived Her life in the Divine Will and believe that our prayers will bring God's Light to many of those in darkness. In the Will of God our prayers are multiplied to the infinite. The key is the Rosary! God bless you.
Trouble is, Fatima, that there is no shortage of false prophets. While relying on the Church to sort genuine visionaries from the deceived or charlatans means that we might miss the occasional Kilbeho it also saves us from being led astray by the likes of LTTW or MDM and many others who will eventually be exposed for the nonsense or scams that they are. No doubt the followers of LTTW and MDM believed, like you, that they had "ears to hear" and put their ability to discern ahead of those entrusted by the Church to make an authoritative pronouncement on the supposed messages from Heaven. God gave us all ears to hear. He didn't makes us all bishops or give us all the authority to make pronouncements about the authenticity of supposed visions or locutions. Although Mark Mallet makes a good case for New York being the new Babylon, I read somewhere, possibly something written or linked by Muzhik who is a member here, some details from the Bible about the location of Babylon and New York doesn't fit. Those of us living in what are sometimes described as post-Christian cultures can be rather limited in our view of the state of the faith in the wider world. I agree with LittleVoice that the bible has a wealth of information about what signs to look out for, and that some huge event, perhaps a second Pentecost, will result in the conversion of the Jews. Some have speculated that it will be finding the original Ark of the Convenant on Mount Nebo but I have my doubts about that. A thread dedicated to end times that excludes content from unapproved prophecy would be really worth following but I suppose it would give rise to arguments about what has been approved and who had the authority to make that decision, thus descending into tit for tat arguments about people's favourite seers, prophets, locutionists or whatever. Incidentally, thanks for your mention of Kilbeho. It prompted me to have another look at the account of the apparition and now I'm curious about the Rosary of Seven Sorrows so I'm going to check it out.
Kibeho didn't get what it got because they didn't listen to Our Lady's warning. What happened was due to wilfully surrendering to evil passions and enmities that had festered for a long time. Our Lady tried to warn of this murderous behaviour, she didn't inflict it as a punishment, the Rwandans did it to one another and must take responsibility for it. Approved Catholic prophesy has been warning for many centuries of such general evil being unleashed amongst mankind as a whole, to be punished by the Minor Chastisement. Just as the people of Rwanda, or a certain portion of them, succeeded in instigating their own chastisement, so may the coming Minor Chastisement take the form of being the combined consequences of our current iniquities, whether in the form of nuclear or other technological conflagration, other forms of war, pestilence, environmental or demographic catastrophe. The coming of the antiChrist will be some indeterminate time later. There are no present antiChrists, in my opinion, just a lot of very wicked and stupid people in a great many positions of power and influence, all skillfully orchestrated by the 'prince of the power of the air'.
Personally, I have never had a problem following a false prophet of the few that have been identified. So, I am sticking with what I know and what 30+ years of studying prophecy has taught me. First one must know their Catholic faith very well. Second, pray, pray, pray for discernment from the Mother of God and the Holy Spirit. Thirdly, fast weekly and pray the rosary daily (our weapon as St. Padre Pio called it) and wear the brown scapular (our armor as saints have called it). If one does this and frequents the sacraments and stays in the state of grace you will not be led astray, I am convinced. God is the one that chose prophecy as his means of communicating his will and his messages. Scripture attests to this often. Why would he do this and then let those with sincere hearts and those doing the will of God be deceived? Where many fall short, not just from the aforementioned, is they look to prophecy for sensationalism and not for changing ones habits, worldliness and lack of ongoing heart felt prayer. To qualify one point, I do not claim to be an expert and I am learning every day. I am very grateful for those who seem to be ahead of the curve IMHO, Mark Mallett and Peter Bannister for starters.
I have read most of the Kibeho books and talked to Immaculee, as she has been in our church several times. Our Lady clearly warned her children in Kibeho what would take place if they did not repent and turn their lives over to God in lieu of hating each other. I am sorry, but you have missed the main message of Kibeho if you do not understand this most important point. To your last point, can you name one activity that scripture said would be a precursor to the Antichrist that is not in full motion at this instant? Re-read Matthew 24 for a starter.
People are deceived, Fatima, even people who fast, pray the Rosary, wear the scapular and frequent the sacraments. They might only be led astray for a short time if they are sufficiently grounded in the faith to recognise the warning signs which might not be evident at the start. Unfortunately, their initial enthusiasm can be dangerous for others of weaker faith and discernment. I'm not suggesting that they deliberately lead others astray but it can and does happen merely by helping false prophets reach a wider audience. Anyway, to get back to 2017, Catholic Action for Faith are organising a pilgrimage from New York to Fatima and Spain next April. They will be in Fatima for four days where Cardinal Burke will celebrate Mass, lead the Stations of the Cross and give some talks. I have never been to Fatima and am wondering whether it would be feasible to make my own way there and join up with the group for the four days. Although mention of the pilgrimage is off-topic, I thought that some members might be interested, so here's a link to the brochure: https://gallery.mailchimp.com/6cb15...tima_Summit_with_Extension_6.16.16_web.03.pdf
Dolours, Are you familiar with the fact that sign of the WCWTS is said to begin this November and come to completion on 9/23/17? Do you think that this represents something significant in relation to some of the prophecies? I think this is a big reason that many people have made/believe in predictions occurring soon. I am curious to hear your thoughts because you seem to think that things are very far off in the future and I value your opinion. It could be that this sign appears years and years before something big happening but that seems less likely. Thank you in advance.
Please, Carol, don't value my opinion. Most likely, you know a great deal more than I do about these matters. As far as I'm concerned, Mary the Mother of God is the Woman Clothed with the Sun and I can't get my tiny mind around all the planetary alignments and how they tie in with Our Blessed Mother. At the same time, I'm reluctant to dismiss something I don't understand simply on the basis of my own lack of understanding, especially as studying the night sky and planetary alignment was what brought the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem.
