I have wondered who this "someone very high up" will be or is? It would seem to be someone in the Church.

Wondering if "high up" from a "supernatural sphere" could be a member of the hierarchy/Cardinal...with the "two horns".... (among many other willing bishops who would follow him) who is very high ranking in Masonry which gets its power from Lucifer himself and thus "embodies" Lucifer....that heavenly body from a supernatural sphere....all for the temptation of pride, lust, craving for "gold"/materialism of this world. Such an individual could become the AC's false prophet, as a formerly high ranking individual/shepherd of the traditional Church which would give him respect, esp. for those who still wish to follow only the "structure" of the Church and wish to have a comfort/security of someone they consider as part of their traditional church. He could then draw many believers of the world to this NWO church of the AC. He would have given up any remnant of former humility, faith, chastity, poverty....fulfilling his formerly concealed thirst for honors!! It could be someone very much trusted for all of the outward appearances of traditional obedience and saying all of the expected traditionally right things...while concealing his real motives.!!
I feel as though we are very close to events. Blessed Mother is revealing to me who the "real" Catholics are...I mean to say, she is showing me those who have the True Faith in their hearts and souls. Plus, we are supposed to be praying for them, and for the others to be saved in the True Faith.
We know that the 7 heads in the book of Revelation, according to our Lady through Father Gobbi, represents 7 Masonic Lodges around the world where the AC will execute his lawlessness and evil designs. It would make sense then that the False Prophet works within this structure of Freemasonry as well and that he must be within the rank of Cardinal's to assume the false papacy. None of that will happen until the very end. First the bulk of the Jews have to be brought into the Church. Then there will be a period of peace before the great apostasy. Then the false prophet precedes the reign of the AC who will most likely be of Jewish descent. Just editing this to add that from what I have read of Maria Valtorta, her visions don't have Church approval.
The Jews and all others who come into the Church will do so by their fiat to God at the Warning. The apostasy is already in motion. The false prophet will work with the AC to persecute the faithful from the Illumination of Conscience till the New Earth is established.
You are using unapproved prophecies in your calculations. The faith must first be spread to the ends of the earth. The Church is growing in Africa and Asia where the great apostasy isn't even on the horizon. We don't know what will bring the Jews into the Church but it won't happen until very near the end and that could be thousands of years from now.
Everyone alive will know God's truth via the Warning. Everyone will know the Church Jesus founded is the Catholic Church. Everyone will know the love God has for his mother. The details of evangelization will come after the Warning and before the purification is completed, his temporal kingdom on earth is established, the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and the 1000 years of rest take place. This is the consensus of Catholic prophecy. The great apostasy is well underway and it will climax with all who will reject the Warning. Everyone will have said yes or no to God's truth at that time. The apostasy will have it greatest moment by all who reject the warning, as they will know Jesus, his church and his mother and reject it all.
What approved Catholic prophecy specifies that there will be a warning that will evangelise the whole world? Our Lady of Fatima said that in the end her Immaculate Heart will triumph. "In the end" is not 1000 years before the Second Coming of Christ. Before the Second Coming we must first see the full complement of Gentiles brought into the Church and after that the conversion of the Jews. There's a period of peace before the False Prophet, the great apostasy and the reign of the AC. Then the end.

Dolours, I believe you are talking about the time when the Lord comes back, after the Era of Peace, and there is another evil outbreak before satan is finally chained for good, before the Final Judgment personally, I cannot help but see the apostasy all around me and I believe that the antichrist is not only born, but almost ready to step on the world stage....we probably already know who he is, some of us
We have a long way to go and the Church has a great deal of suffering to endure before the great apostasy. What we are facing, particularly in Western Europe, is what Christians in the Middle East have been experiencing since Islam became the predominant religion in that region, what Christians endure in other regions of the world where they are are a minority, what Christians endured and are enduring in Communist countries, and what Catholics endured after the Reformation. I'm sure that persecuted Catholics in the past had a far greater reason that we to believe that the AC was about to show his face but he didn't and he is unlikely to show up in our lifetime. We are to expect minor Anti-Christs before the head honcho shows up. There have been a few scattered throughout history, there are some now and will be more in the future before we see The AC but a whole lot of other developments need to occur first - developments that could take generations, even centuries. Sure, we're seeing the groundwork being laid and we're starting to see how things will pan out but there are no signs that the climax is even close. We will not see Jesus return to earth until he comes to defeat the AC when all seems lost and only the remnant will hold out. Jesus will come on a cloud to the Mount of Olives at the very end. We can expect some temporary era of peace before the False Prophet prepares the way for the AC but Jesus won't be coming to usher it in.
