Insearch, this is a matter of forum discipline. If you have an issue with it send me a PM and we will take it further in private. This is not something for public debate. Thank you.
I have to agree, Padraig. This is harsh and should be reversed. Clearly, this is your site and you can do as you like. But I thought this was a place for free and open discussion.
Well. I for one will miss Jane's posts. When I first joined this forum. One of the first things I asked was. "Is this a Catholic forum?" Because it didn't seem like it. She always spoke about the true faith. She showed the prophecies that didn't happen at Garabandal which made my decision on it final. And if I am correct. It wasn't Jane who was the one who said she had no love for Christ. Her reply did not have a bad tone, but a concerned tone. Padraig, you sound like a bully, and I for one will no longer read this forum.
Folks [MarkW & P. Kelly] you heard Padraig live and clear - if you have an issue PM him - you have a brass neck challenging the moderator of the forum in public. If you don't agree PM him and discuss it. Would I go into your house and start and argument with you? You would show me the front door or maybe even boot me out the back door
Why was Jane suspended? She is very misunderstood here. I love Medjugorje and I know that she is constantly warning everyone against it. This is her belief and she is so worried that we are all following prophecies and not the Gospels or Christ that she is very concerned for us. In the same way that we are concerned for love ones that we think are taking the wrong path. It is far from easy being the voice in the Wilderness. Not a nice place to be. Yet she has remained there in spite of a lot of accusations... why? Because in her heart and in her mind she is trying to help us. Go easy on her and look at the bigger picture please. She is actually a sweetheart.
Garabandal, I am not for one minute starting an argument, this is not my intention at all. I am simply (while Jane isn't around) trying to ask you to see where she is coming from and what her intentions are. They are good and honorable.
Apologies to SteveD - it was not you I meant to mention - I have edited my post [and apologised privately too]. It's very simple folks - Padraig has asked you to PM him about this issue. It is his forum, he runs it, he funds it so I think he is due respect and courtesy of a private conversation as he posted about above. He has stated he does not want a public discussion on the issue. [full stop!]
With respect, Garabandal, I don't think so. The admonision came in public. That's one of the things that bugs me about this whole thing. People can't seem to take any form of critique of their preferred private revelation. The analogy of being someone's living room is cute, but inappropriate. He opened his living room up to 600+ strangers. My mistake. I thought this was a forum for open discussion, not simply following the leader. When you limit discussion like this, you eventually devolve to a hollow echo. If we're all here just to agree with the moderator, then there's absolutely no reason to stay.
I understand a few people are unhappy with my actions On the other hand I am quite happy with them and do not at all feel the need to defend myself. Might I suggest a site called free forums were people can set up their own forum. The only draw back , I am afraid, is that there is advertising connected with it but it is very easy to set up your own forum there. I am free to give any help I can with the project. Please also feel free to encourage any members here on this forum to join you if you like.
Jane, let me start by saying you are getting these answers from me, not other people opinions or internet blogs, or misinformed books. Padre Pio DID see the Miracle. After Conchita's prediction, Padre Pio's death in September, 1968 caused great dismay among the Garabandalistas, since they all counted on the famous Capuchin from Pietrelcina being alive and present on the day of the Miracle. Many explanations have been given attempting to correlate Conchita's prediction with the fact of his death. Now we have some reliable information on this matter. Conchita was dismayed also by the notice of the death of Padre Pio, who was expected to “see the miracle”. But several weeks after his death, as dusk settled at Garabandal on October 16, 1968, a telegram from Lourdes arrived, carrying the name of a woman in Rome whom Conchita knew. The telegram urged her to depart immediately by car to receive something on behalf of Padre Pio . . . Fr. Combe, a French parish priest from Chazay d'Azergues in the diocese of Lyon and a great promoter of the cause of Garabandal, was in Garabandal that day. He and his inseparable collaborator B. L. Ellos took Conchita and Aniceta in their car and set out that night for Lourdes. There on the morning of October 17, Conchita received «on behalf of Padre Pio» a short written message and a large section of the veil that had covered Padre Pio's face after his death. Carrying these presents was the Italian Capuchin Fr. B. (surely Fr. P. Bernardino Cennamo). Fr. B. had been very close to Padre Pio and his secretary Fr. Pellegrino who had signed this message that Padre Pio spoke to him a month before his death. In the message appeared the date «August 22, 1968» Conchita took advantage of this meeting to ask, « Why did the Virgin tell me that Padre Pio would see the Miracle?» Father B: «Padre Pio saw it before his death. He himself told us.» Secondly, you have mistakenly assumed the "3 Popes" prophecy had to do with a number of how many Popes, it does not,it never did. I would like to offer up an explanation of why the "3 Popes " quote is still in line with the Garabandal prophecies, even though Pope BXVI was considered the 4th Pope. To answer this question, you must understand what Conchita was referencing . When she was told that there would be 3 more popes, then it would be" the end of the times" this meant an "end of an era." The prophecy had nothing to do with the future number of popes, it was MARKING A PERIOD IN TIME. The reason it is the end is we are entering a new era, one which this generation will witness the "Warning, and the great "Miracle", and obviously a new pope. This new era will define history ! Will mankind heed God's mercy in the form of the Warning? Or , will it fall back into its God offending ways, even after the warning and miracle, and face a chastisement. The actual number of popes does not contradict the prediction, we just witnessed BXVI resigning ! This is a new era ! 3rd. Digging up Fr. Andreu's body in NO WAY invalidates the prediction, why ? Conchita, in a letter dated August 2, 1964, wrote this to Father Ramon Andreu (his brother) “On July 18 (1964), I had a locution in which I was told that on the day after the miracle your brother (Fr. Luis Andreu) would be removed from his grave and his body would be intact.” SO infact , the Blessed Mother said it would be " THE DAY AFTER THE MIRACLE ", NOT BEFORE ! The prophecy is still valid until then. The last two item were added in books, and were NEVER part of the Blessed Mother's promises. She promised The Warning, The Miracle, a permanent sign at the pines, Joeys new eyes, and Fr. Andreu's body incorrupt the day after the Miracle, that's it.
With due respect, there are some threads about Garabandal but this isn't one of them, it relates to the end of the 100 year reign of Satan prophesied by Pope Leo XIII. I currently tend to stay away from the Garabandal threads as something of a 'fence sitter' on the subject but have read this as it appeared here. I know that these answers were not directed at me but I don't find them at all persuasive especially the 3 Popes prophecy. I think that you really have to 'stretch' what Conchita said to come to this conclusion.
Steven, I was just replying to an already posted message, I didn't want to but there are some serious misconceptions about her post.
Ran into this on Spirit Daily today. Another 2017 prophecy to add to the collection in this thread. I thought it was interesting that the triumph he predicts comes at the 100th anniversary of the Miracle at Fatima. Read more here: http://www.spiritdaily.net/johnston2.htm
Fascinating, thanks for that Rosa. I was also interested to see the following: Johnston also had warned long before the recent crisis that the storm would break through North Korea. "North Korea is the dragon's tail," he says. China? "You got it," he says. "China is a very bad actor. You'll know for certain that the storm has broken in its fullness when it comes through North Korea. For almost a decade now I have shuddered with an unknown and supernatural dread at the mere mention of North Korea."
So it's another case for the Triumph in 2017 (earliest May 13...latest October 13, according to these theories). If one ascribes to these (and to Garabandal), that would mean you have to back up from those 2017 dates to get to the Chatisement, and back up from there to get to the Miracle, and back up from there to get to the Warning. So the idea becomes: How compressed are these four events? Warning-Miracle-Chastisement-Triumph (1 year? 2 years?? 3 years??? 4 years????) I remember one guy on this forum previously stating, as a serious "Garabandalist" (I never use that word...but he did often), that there would be 3 to 4 difficult years after the Warning.....
