I've been reading lots of stories of demonic possession and listening to YouTube lectures by exorcists about same lately (I think Fr Chad Ripperger is fantastic and highly recommended.) Truly terrifying stuff. Interesting too though. Because of my interest and research in this area lately, I've begun wearing the St Benedict Medal daily. One awful case is of Annaliese Michel. **NOTE: read with caution - asking your guardian angel to look after you wile you read. DONT listen to the audio/video files** https://diabolicalconfusions.wordpr...the-real-emily-rose-warning-shocking-content/ There is a transcript of a conversation between the demonic and the exorcists linked in the article above. I managed to read about three pages before quitting (vulgarity and language beyond my endurance) but I am amazed at the terror of demons of the Rosary! They REALLY hate it. REALLY HATE IT!! It absolutely torments and terrifies them. The possessed girl in this case, was notorious for attacking and smashing rosaries (very rare - normally they just scream in terror and recoil - the physical destruction of rosaries is a sign of an extremely powerful possession.) in this case also, rosaries were seen floating out of the room of the possessed, all the way to the kitchen, where they mock-strangled a chair. My point of posting this horror story here ('horror' dosent the do this story justice), was to draw you to examine the rosary if you don't pray it and perhaps consider taking it up. A forum member here gave me great practical advise on how to pray the rosary in a busy day (thanks Garabandal) It's truly a perfect prayer, for Gospel reflection, for petition, for praise, and for spiritual protection. It's wonderful! During the exorcism above, while the exorcists (two) sang the Hail Holy Queen, the demons screamed in unrestrained terror, over and over, "She is coming! She is coming! She is coming!" Indeed, She really has our back and is truly the ultimate protection from the 'others'. I was delighted to pray the Rosary up to this, but after all I've read in the last few months, I really realise how incredibly important the Rosary is - tired or not, busy or not, it's a must, an obligation for me, and I thank God for the grace to say it.
Torrentum, thank you for posting this. I had watched the film on DVD. To be honest I could not make any sense of it the first time I watched it, had to watch it again and concentrate on a different character to see what was going on. I did read the linked article right through, and played the audio files. You have to read the English translation. It was very interesting. I noticed a few things in what the evil spirits were supposed to have said. One thing I noticed was they seemed to be calling the Blessed Mother names that men and boyfriends call their partners when they are angry with them. That was interesting. Some of the other insults were so petty, and stupid and nasty school yard type of insults, it was almost laughable. Maybe I have been exposed to much more vulgar people in my lifetime than most of you here; but I have heard worse from human beings in anger than those so called demons. What is interesting is where vulgar insulting sarcastic behaviour clearly comes from. I always wondered about the people with turrets because how do they all learn the swear words, it must be an evil disease. Maybe I am wrong on that. It will make me enjoy saying my prayers, knowing what a crude ignorant bunch of spirits inhabit the nether regions, and how lacking they are in finding adjectives to describe their bad feelings for Holy people and places. Praised be Jesus and Mary. Thank You Lord Jesus for being a gentleman, and thank you Blessed Mother for being a Lady. Now we know why we need to model ourselves on Jesus and Mary.
