Alert: Volcano eruption in La Palma could result in mega-tsunami

    It was a thread on that forum I linked previously. No one had a specific photo but they said it was in a video of drone footage, so I did a screen capture from that video.

    They said a TV news crew set up cameras on a nearby rooftop to catch footage of the lava destroying this church. The lava came up to the church but after four hours of waiting, it didn’t destroy the church and the news crew left disappointed they didn’t get their footage.

    “Footage is crazy.. There is the church with its steeple and white walls un touched surrounded by destruction and black lava.

    The lava went right up to the church... Right up to its walls.. Destroying everything in its path, everything around it... But.. It stopped at the church leavibg it un touched.. It skirted around it, grazing the walls but not damaging it at all!!!

    La Sexta TV, which is considered left wing, is reporting about it too..

    It is amazing.”​

    I actually seen that church on the lava flow map a few days back and thought it was St Pio's church I mentioned it to my wife saying the lava is due to reach the church of St Padre Pio on his feast day...truly remarkable how the church was spared...St Pius pray for us :love:

    Think we need to also keep an eye on the volcano Teide in Tenerife Ive noticed a good few small quakes stringing from la palma to tenerife but one to note was last night right bang in the centre of volcano Teide Mag 0.8

    I don’t know now whether this earlier screen capture was accurate. After seeing other views of this church, I’m doubtful I caught the right screen capture from that footage.

    It’s on there. It was a HUGE volcanic mountain and a HUGE eruption. The eruption blew the volcanic mountain to high Heaven. All that’s left is the current caldera.

    just updated the current live feed...looks like this volcano has just woke up...they are evacuating more towns as I type..poor people

    Ironically the new hole and stream of lava started at 3pm uk time ..

    The ashes and little stones are being "rained" over bigger areas. They are reaching nearby islands also.
    The plume is rising 4 kms up into the sky.
    The lava current has slowed down very much and is thickening itself. Instead of continuing the course is now slowly going both sides (0.55 mark), which has put in danger other areas that are been evacuated

    The Bahama's and Caribbean Islands may well be the result of an asteroid/comet strike that created the Gulf of Mexico in times past, at the center of which there is a volcano at very low activity. The trajectory was from the NNW, as so many others in the past that have changed the course of human destiny.
    There's a whole lot of shaking going on!
