We are now entering into Advent- the season of joyful and hopeful anticipation of the Coming of Jesus. It has a bit of extra meaning this year as there really is a lot of darkness - the Storm - as many here call it. And yet, we are called to be hopeful and to be alert with a watchful and waiting heart. Soon, the Light of Christ will be here to illuminate our souls and the whole world. I pray you have a good Advent.

I would love to hear different thoughts and customs as you how you all prepare for the Coming of Christ at Christmas?

    I liked this reflection.......

Below is a good article about a small town TN Pastor in the "fight" to Push-Back in the War on Christmas (Easter).
I fight this culture war in a couple of small ways:
When someone wishes me Happy Holidays, I answer ... a bit too loudly... MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I buy enough Madonna Christmas stamps to last all year .. in fact it's time to go to the Post Office :)

"Pastor Believes the ‘Two Holiest Days in Human History Have Been Desecrated.’ Here’s His Plan to Reclaim Christmas."

    GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
