From Totus Tuus Fb page today: "In a powerful affirmation of our faith in the Real Presence, the Vatican has officially recognized a Eucharistic miracle that took place over a decade ago in India. On November 15, 2013, during a morning Mass at Christ the King Church in Vilakkannur, Kerala (Syro-Malabar Archdiocese of Tellicherry), Fr. Thomas Pathickal was celebrating when, at the elevation of the large host during" consecration, he noticed a mysterious spot. As the Mass continued, the spot grew brighter and larger... until it clearly revealed what witnesses described as the face of Jesus Christ Himself looking out from the consecrated Host. The host was carefully preserved and sent for thorough investigation, including scientific analysis in Rome. After years of study by the Theological Commission of the Syro-Malabar Church and review by the Holy See, the Vatican confirmed its authenticity as of May 2025. The miraculous Host is now venerated as a "Relic of Divinity" on a side altar in the church, drawing thousands of pilgrims whose lives have been transformed through prayer and adoration. This extraordinary event reminds us of Jesus' words: "This is My Body" — and how He continues to make His presence known in our midst, calling us deeper into love, faith, and Eucharistic devotion. As one report beautifully puts it: “The Vatican has officially recognized a Eucharistic miracle at Christ the King Church in Vilakkannur, Kerala, India. Let this be an invitation to renew our wonder at the Blessed Sacrament!"
