I dont see any harm in it, from a very quick reading on the subject. However, I could be wrong. Of course, my quick reading needs your deep research and deep reading. Consequently, you really need to learn to google items yourself, do your own homework. google 'glorious cross dozule' brought up predominant informative wikipedia pages, but not much else google ' virgin mary dozule' brought up so much more //but we want to get links with the bishop in them google 'virgin mary dozule bishop' Although one of the wikipedia articles has stated the Bishop condemned, he probably condemned the 'Friends of the Glorious Cross...' group. ?? I think! The rest is up to you. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- //probably the most important article I found http://www.les-amis-de-la-croix-glorieuse.org/pdf/dozule2012-en.pdf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friends_of_the_Glorious_Cross_of_Dozulé http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_of_Dozulé http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_of_Dozulé http://www.propheties.it/dozule.htm http://www.goperri.com/warning.html http://www.myetherworld.com/False_Apparitions.html http://godandmen.blogspot.com/p/the-crosses-of-dozule.html http://www.conchiglia.us/UK/UK_dozule/UK_dozule.htm Have fun!
Thank you! I was googling but was confused --perhaps Friends of the Glorious Cross Group --Anyway lots for me to read now!
RB2: I thank you as well! RoryRory had asked the question a week or so earlier and i had attempted an internet search to see if i could find an answer but though i consider myself quite good with the internet , it is clear that I still have a fair way to go knowing what key words to put into a search engine. All i ever thought to put into the search engine was 'dozule' and 'dozule apparitions'. Thank you for that quick lesson. My understanding of the wiki info is that the condemnation is very much directed at the Friends of the Glorious Cross group. RoryRory. Your perseverance has paid off.
I think there is a Canonical Inquiry now as far as I can make out. Thanks Again. Pointers always welcome.
Dozulé apparitions are a complicated phenomenon. Not for the revelations received in the 70' s by Madeleine Aumont(the seer) but for what happened around these manifestations. The period of apparitions is from 1972 to 1978. The seer received messages from Christ and Saint Michael Archangel in St. Joseph church in Dozulé. Father Victor l'Horset was witness of the ecstasys and became the spiritual father of Madeleine. In the messages nothing against the Church or theologically wrong is found. The prayer given by Christ is approved. The cross asked in this small french town has to be built on the haute butte(high hill) and has to be of 738 meters of high, giving light. Father Victor L'Horset was upset by the dimensions and asked Madeleine if she perhaps was wrong and later discovered that 738 meters is the measure from the sea to the Calvaire in Jerusalem. Two Bishops stated that there was not evidences of the supernatural in these revelations(it means that the apparitions is not condemned but not even approved). Statements are accepted by Congregatio pro Fidei. In response a letter from Joseph Ratzinger told that the results of the commission of investigation is accepted but also that the Bishop has to follow the case. Madeleine Aumont and Father L'Horset were never interwieved by the commission that investigate Dozulé. The priest was also moved from Dozulé and he accepted without protests. Madeleine stated that three apparitions where of diabolical origin and never recognized them officialy. She obey to the authority of the Church, never speaking in public of the events and never try to built or collect money for the realization of the Cross. The problem started when private citizens buy the Haute Butte in order to build the Cross. They formed associations to made the goal and these groups started fighting between them. Madeleine tells these people to abandon their project and give back the terrain to the Church many times. But she wasn't listened. Now many pseudo voyants and organizations try to take the apparitions, telling that this message of Christ has to be realized. The italian Conchiglia is among them. She has absolutely no accuracy and her association and revelations are without any basis. From the last year the new Bishop of Bayeux nominate a priest to try to give assistance to pilgrims and to report of what happens here. To understand what happened here in the 70's, the only realiable books are two: one written by Victor L'Horset and the one written by Madeleine Aumont. Other sources are mystificating the phenomenon. I hope, with my bad english, to have been useful
I have a small replica of a Dozule cross. Have been to places of refuge that have the 30 ft. sort. In one place I have been told that many Catholics have erected such crosses and when floods hit the area a couple of years ago, the waters did not cross the Crosses!
I am asking again about the Cross of Dozule as on Spirit Daily there is a story abiut Conchigilia and a book she presented to Pope Emeritus Benedict .He seemed to not approve .I am wondering if this is the same Conchigilia. Could anyone know about this as the book contains seemingly false messages and many people have the large crosses in their yards.
I'm no expert by any means, but here is my little experience. I fell upon Conchiglia's website a few years ago when googling for another subject (possibly Dozule, but I can't remember) and at first, I was most intrigued and read some material on her site. After a while, I discovered all her anti-Francis garbage, got totally perturbed, stopped reading, went to bed, and had a nightmare -- and I rarely have dreams and couldn't remember the last time I had a nightmare! It took me a several days to rid myself of the awful feelings from that reading session. So that was that. From what I see, Conchiglia associates herself with some authentic apparitions or locutions (eg she went to Dozulé and promotes the crosses of love everywhere I think), which muddies the waters for both discerning about her and for the visionaries or apparitions that she associates herself with. Personally, I believe in Dozulé, because I've read some of the genuine & reliable information about it. While on a pilgrimage with Mgr Laurentin, I heard him say that the visionary in Dozulé, Madeleine Aumont, had an absolutely perfect record of obedience and interactions with the church. I was sorry to see that article about Conchiglia on Spirit Daily, because it just makes more people aware of this person, whose inspiration seems demonic.
Hi Conchiglia is not related officially with Dozulé in any way. She take the message gave to Madeleine Aumont and from JNSR and said it comes officialy from that. But it is not true. In fact Conchiglia has been condemned by the Archbishop of Senigallia, Italy and disobey to all
So what about all these 700 foot crosses. Is Conchigilia the one promoting them. Thanks Cristian and .Andree.
Conchiglia, founder of "MOVIMENTO D'AMORE SAN JUAN DIEGO", is a false seer, who believes in aliens and states that Pope Francis is a false prophet. Moreover, she affirms that the Virgin Mary is part of the Trinity, obviously an heresy.
