    Fatima,

Prayer is the utmost! Twenty years ago when I had 5 children aged 10-and-under, the reasonableness of refuges would be certain. Well, now, I have only Danny, my 16-yr-old still at home, along with my beloved Geralyn. My other children are on the West coast and scattered in various locations east off the Mississippi. They most definitely aren't just down the road. In addition, the Lord has called me personally to study for the Diaconate. Therefore, I am to be a servant of the flock in the Diocese of Syracuse. So, as wonderful as the Texas Hill Country sounds, it doesn't appear to be on my radar!;)

Lord, may we always be obedient to the promptings of the Holy Spirit!:)

    Dear Val,
Welcome home. I assure you that you are not alone---I know MANY people who were either protestant or had left the Catholic Church for a time and then as adults have a profound conversion. But their children do not share in it. It is a great cross. But I total agree with your thoughts in that you are the 'lifeboat' of prayer for them, and for others. I often see that Our Blessed Lord will put such prayer warriors in the midst of families to be the one that prays for the rest. The apostasy now is so vast and deep and no family is spared from it, it seems.

God bless you, my dear sister in Christ and may Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament lead you ever closer to her Divine Son.

    Ave Maria!

    Miker,

I'll pray the Lord will lead you and your family in the coming months. The spiritual leadership of a father is most crucial at this point. Our primary question must always be, "What is the best choice to help draw my family closer to God?" As Jesus said of our physical needs, and they are true needs:

Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto thee.

Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!

One thing is for sure. This forum is a wonderful way for us to share our hopes, fears and dreams. I am always amazed at how much we all 'sense' that we are the end of an era. It is as if our spiritual antennae is being buzzed by the Holy Spirit. The word is prepare!

Prepare first and foremost spiritually by converting and taking the path of sanctity seriously. We will be eternally thankful to God the Father if we convert for it will take an eternity to thank Him enough for all of His blessings and for sending us the Blessed Virgin Mary as our guide and companion in this Marian Age.

    Ave Maria

I have no plans for moving anywhere myself. But I think its good to know there are such places so that if the time comes at least we have a doorway to go through. I understand from what I have read in the past that there may be refuges in some cities.

I have visited two refuges myself, one in Italy and one in Ireland. I suspect they are all over the world now, though I suspect even some of the people who live in them may not know what they are. But they are there. The are not always I suspect in remote places.

It is the home of a member of the forum, it will be used for for the saying of the mass when it is forbidden. It is better not to write these things publically, one day the authorities will be looking for them and be trolling through forums like this for clues.

The one in Italy is in the mountains south of Rome.

Refuges will not all be big but of varying sizes and types to suit the needs.

I wish they would put date stamps on my dreams, Bobby. I could maybe sell them. :)

I am surprised more people do not dream about the future. Maybe they do and are not allowed to remember them when they wake. Maybe some do and don't tell.

I suspect if more people prayed and talked to God just before sleeping there would be more dreams. If we don't talk much to God when we are awake, we will not talk much to Him when we sleep. Dreams are everywhere in Scripture. I suspect if more people dreamed about what is heading down the road towards us the world would not be very long changing.

But, lets be honest most of our sister and brother Catholics even are completely blind to it. Perhaps our Clergy most of all. The disdain and scepticism shown to apparitions of the Mother of God are palpable and exist even in the very highest Echelons of the Church itself. If they show the Mother of God the door and slam it after her, what chance have we got? But their blindness and arrogance will be their undoing. It should not surprise us for thus they treated Christ and the Holy Prophets. Should it surprise us now that they reject His Holy Mother Mary, when she is sent from heaven?

    Regarding refuges:

I think it's important to mortify our curiosity. As others have said, chasing down refuges is not what we are to do at the moment. I am very much looking forward to what John has to share, as I am convinced he's sent to us by the Lord. I had heard before that there would be refuges in the Texas Hill Country; it comforts me knowing that they are being formed in my back yard and around the world. It takes my breath away to see how our Mother sees after the smallest details. I have absolute confidence that she'll guide me to stay or go, and send angels to show me the way when the time comes.

My recent reading of the exodus and the times of Joseph also comforts me - God never changes, and there's a long history of the way he provides for His people - water from rocks and manna from heaven, and a big neon cloud leading the way!

One lesson that stuck out about the exodus - God is highly offended by idolatry, and will not abide it in His people, and He doesn't care for murmuring against the leaders he appoints, either!

    Magdalen Ave Maria!

    Dear Deacon John,

I can accept what you wrote and your witness is not dissimilar to that of others whom I have encountered. I think the only thing from your testimony here is that there would be no sin at a place of refuge. A refuge still would not be heaven! And sin is part of our human condition so I cannot imagine that we will be immune from temptation during our earthly sojourn. Our Lord Himself underwent temptation after all.

And knowing of some places, I know for sure there is sin at some of these places of preparation presently. Living heroic virtue is not easy! We are indeed called to holiness and must be wary of temptations and divisions.

I look forward to reading more of your writings.
    Ave Maria!

All that I can share is that we do not understand the Grace of God and the prayers of Our lady. Our God is the Lord of the impossible. How can we explain how Anna, the mother of the Virgin Mary was gifted by God to be pure with sin all around her. The Blessed Mother was born without sin. She is the Ark of the Purity and could not be born in a sinless environment. I am only relating what I was shown and saw. It is not up to me to make a conclusion without faith. Sin will not exist in the Refuges. St. Thomas Aquinas quote "“To those that have faith no explanation is necessary … for those who don’t have faith no explanation is enough.”

I appreciate your comments and they are good. All things need to be question. I am very happy of your concerns. I do not claim to be a theologian, only a messenger of what Our Lady and the Holy Spirit have shown me. I love you my fiend and please pray for me.

Thank you my friend. We do not understand the mind and Will of God. The Lord invites everyone to come to Him. Many are curious and might be skeptic of what is happening in the spiritual realm. That is very good. The Lord wants us to question and discern all things. God is calling all of us to first prepare our hearts to Him and then be open for what He has in mind for each of us. Many are being called in the preparation of many Refuges all over the world. If you listen to God; He will direct you for whatever task He might have for you be happy and rejoice, for we are all His children.

God bless you and your family,

Well I guess if all this is true...my goose is cooked! I will remain with my people...I will not flee the impending doom. Refuge in another State or Country?...my refuge is in the Mercy of the Lord. I will comfort and give assistance to my fellow sinners...not run away to a earthly refuge to preserve my life. My life is to be poured out for my brothers and sisters.

John Martinez Jr Refuges: By Our Blessed Mother and the Holy Spirit

Welcome my sister in Christ. You are one of the few that sincerely seek the heart of God. You are in the right road. Many of us struggle with the Christian faith of our children and wonder what would happen to them. The answer is prayer. Scripture tells us that whatever we ask the Father in the name of Jesus He will grant us our prayer and petition to him. When we prayer our prayers are like incense that enter into the Throne of God. Everyone living person will always get a second chance. When the time comes the seeds of prayer that you have planted in your children before will start to blossom and their hearts will change by the Grace of God. Human words can do nothing, but Our Lord is the God of the impossible. Place all your faith in Him.

As to the Refuges, they are happening as we speak. Scripture tells us "Seek and you will find ... Knock and it shall be open to you" . In the Gospel of Mathew you will find out what is coming upon us. This Godless world will judge for it's sin. Sin must be removed form this world before the coming of Jesus. The refuges are being prepared to protect the children of God. It is not a myth but a reality of what has been prophesied by many saints, seers, apparition of Our Lady. Read on the message from Akita, Japan from Our Lady, you will find it on the internet. All we have to do is look around us as the decay of sin in the world is leading many to hell. Be assured that God will protect His children. you have asked the right questions; the Lord will answer them.

    Magdalen Ave Maria!

Well, I would not say I have no faith! I also live it every day of my life and have for many years. It is just hard to imagine no sin this side of heaven. I am not St. Anne and none of us are St. Joseph or St. John the Baptist all of whom I am sure were pretty much sin free. But those are individuals and not a whole group of souls.

Yes, it would be nice to live among others with no vice, no sin, no division, no envy but perfect charity. And we pray for perfect charity, don't we? And to have the pure love of God! That would be a marvel. So I hope that comes to pass as you believe you have been shown.

But like Timothius, I do not have any particular thought to flee. I have some friends with boats that plan to hit the waters as things escalate but I hope to stay put and be of service as I can right here. And if the martyr's palm awaits this sinner....well, that would be the answered prayer of a lifetime.
