It would be great if you could find a spiritual director Peter. Are there any enclosed orders near you? I have always found those to be more approachable and willing to spend time listening and discerning.

Count me in! I want to say, "The three Musketeers", but Peter, I think you'd be surprised how many on MOG actually pray for you. You are loved!
Suffering but trying to offer it up for souls and Our Lady's intentions. Trusting that good is coming from it.
Sanctus, you are in my Rosary daily and I'm sure you are being prayed for by others. We suffer all in different ways but for me, acceptance of that suffering is the key. I know you feel better today and I'm glad but please!!! Contact a Priest. Only you can change things....God leads..but only we can do the work He needs us to do. Believe me, I tell myself this everyday because it's scarey sometimes. Praying for your strength.
I find lately I can be distracted by worldly music and other things. I find it is important to make space for God in silence and reflection. "Be still and know that I am God. " psalm 46:10 He speaks to us in silence, no doubt.
Have you had any success in finding a Spiritual director or an enclosed order within travelling distance Sanctus? We are all praying for you here but it sounds like you may need to take some concrete action yourself and get solid discernment and the support of meeting with someone in the flesh on a regular basis.
